Big thanks to Bashu who made my crazy itinerary possible ;) our guide Bhim was great showing us many different places alongside the treks. Cant forget to mentiom our driver who got us safely to Kagbeni and back ( the roads are crazy ;)) Mustang is truly beautiful with unique culture and scenery and definitely worth visiting.Written September 14, 2024

We were extremely well looked after from the clear exchanges of text messages to the incredibly experienced and well spoken guides. - 559in0 contributionsGerat Trekking Tour to Gokyo Ri with FootprintWe booked a trekking tour from Lukla to Gokyo Ri at the German Agency moja Travel. Footprint was the nepali partner who did the trip with us and provided the guide, accomodation and transfer from and to Kathmandu. We were very surprised about the really good organization of all activities. We as Germans are know for our precise time scheduling. And I must say, the guys from footprint did almost everything with German precision :-) Our agency contact person Basu was very kind and did all transfer preparation perfectly. One of the highlights was the helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lukla with gave us not only a great feeling and overview to the Nepali region but saved us a lot of boring travel time by bus to the Ramechhap as we had it on our return path. Bhuban our guide on the complete trekking tour was very experienced and gave us insides to the Nepali culture, to the mountains around and the way of walking in the mountains - "slowly, slowly". It was a great experience for all of us. And we want to thank Bhuba, Basu and the whole Footprint team!Written November 24, 2022

- cftrades0 contributionsNepal Annapurna Panorama TrekDear Trekkers, we were one of the few people that wanted to travel during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Organising the trip from the Uk was made exceptionally easy by Bashu who never failed to reassure and prepare everything our embassy needed for us to come across. From transfers to full itinerary of our 6 day trek was organised by Bashu and his very kind team. Our trek was fantastic, we were so looked after as we are not seasoned trekkers so they did everything they could to make us feel more comfortable. We can’t thank them enough. Our guide Raj and helpers were just amazing, we had a lot of fun. Even when returning down the mountain I had strained my back which meant walking was agonising but Raj carried my day pack and reassured me all the way that I could go as slow as I liked without making me feel a burden on anyone. Thank you we recommend you to everyone wanting a really authentic experience of Nepal at very reasonable prices. We had a wonderful time and we will be back! 😀Written December 8, 2020
- drkunde0 contributionsFamily Trekkinf ins ABC + Kathmandu + Pokhara + ChitwanOur second trip with Nepal Footprint after a first excellent experience (Everest Base Camp) in 2016. Once again a perfect trip! Organisation, Guide (Tulsi!), Hotels and Lodges, Transfers... everything worked out extremely well with no problems or complaints at all. Therefore 5 of 5 Stars for these friendly, reliable and hard working people from Nepal Footprint. We can recommend this company without any limitations and have to say “Thank you and Namaste” for this wonderful trip! We will come back...Written May 11, 2019
- 523lent0 contributionsLen from U.S.Bashu coordinated a city guide for four UNESCO sites as well as a 7-day Pikey Peak trek in a professional manner. Both trips were excellent. I wished for better weather on the trek, but still had an amazing time meeting many different people along the tea house trek. My only complaint would be having gone off the trail twice wich lead our group down and up some pretty steep as well as challenging trekking conditions. We did always find our way to our destinations, yet more planning, trail marking, or guide mapping would have been appreciated. I am happy with Nepal Footprint services and think the pricing was fair compared to other online companies. Thank you, LenWritten April 8, 2019
- gr4julia0 contributionsThese people know their stuff!!!We recently used Nepal Footprint Holiday Treks for a week-long trek in Nepal's Humla (May 2018). They are indeed a guide-run company, so all the information that we received beforehand was useful and spot-on. Everything went perfectly. Ram, our guide, was the sweetest! And so were the guys in the office! We will definitely be using this company again!Written June 21, 2018
- Έλλη Σ0 contributionsTrek in Simmikot (May 2018)We were 6 griends & did a 6-days trek from Simmikot to Hilsa. Our guide was Ram, who was excellent from all aspects. We stayed in tents & we had kitchen services (3 times daily). The food was very good, the cook was really a surprise. We did not face any problems during our walking, the weather was very good, the landscape was magnificent, the trek was not tiring (we had rest at regular intervals). For me & my husband it was our first trek in Nepal, overall it was a great experience.Written June 20, 2018
- FlorenHL0 contributionsGreat service, reliable & flexible & fun, high recommend the agencyTo sum up our experience: the agency is excellent. They are very flexible (before and during the trek), and you can really trust and count on them. Price is fair, and our guide is amazing. Tip: if you are going to Upper Mustang, try to get Nepal Telecom sim card instead of Ncell. Ncell is pretty much useless in Upper Mustang. We came across Nepal Footprint as a friend recommended the agency after a trek there earlier this year. I reached out to Bashu and he created a personalized itinerary for us. The itinerary was modified multiple times based on our wishes (specific hotels we wanted to stay in, alternative transportation means etc). Bashu is extremely patient, knowledgeable and resourceful. When we arrived, things were arranged smoothly. Bashu picked us up from the airport. He introduced us to our guide, walked us through the papers and got the permits done. Good preparation day. We had Raj as our guide and he is the BEST. Not only he is familiar with the routes, roads, and how to adapt to altitudes etc, he knows where to find good Dal Bhat in Pokhara and along the trek. He is resourceful (we had the feeling we always got the best drivers for example). His English is excellent! We spent a lot of time discussing politics in Nepal, India and China, and about his experiences in Tibet. He was not only the guide for trekking, but also the guide for us to understand more about Nepal, its society, economy and everyday life. He introduced us to Nepali movies and music too. We came back to Germany humming Nepali movie songs. Last but not the least, he has a great sense of humor. During the trek, we had asked for things to be changed (hotel/guesthouse options). It has nothing to do with the company, was just due to the capacity of Lo Manthang during peak season. Our guide and Bashu adapted to our requests very fast and flexibly. Transportation was covered throughout the trip (pick up & drop off at airport, pick up from hotel to bus station to Pokhara, pick up from bus station in Kathmandu etc). The trek in Upper Mustang offers really stunning view, almost surreal. If you are using jeep from Pokhara to Kagbeni, or any drives within Upper Mustang, just be prepared for very bumpy roads. The trek itself is not technical nor very physically challenging. The facilities of guest houses along the way are OK, not as good as in Everest region, but covers all basic needs. Not so many guest houses have wifi tho. If occasionally somewhere does have wifi, it is everestlink.Written May 27, 2018
