We had a fantastic trekking experience to Annapurna Base Camp with Base Camp Adventures, and especially with our guide Prakash. It's always a bit daunting when you book a trip like this. There are so many unknowns: will we be able to do it (we were in our late 50s-early 60s); what will the food and accommodation be like; and will get on with our guide. The answers to all those, yes (take the guide's advice and go slowly), pretty good (food was fresh, wholesome and fuel orientated and all accommodation was clean, with blankets to supplement your sleeping bags), and Prakash and the porters were all great guys (knowledgeable, friendly and really helpful). The sights are amazing, the walking is tough but do-able, and the Nepalis were so lovely. All in all, a trip I'll never forget, with a great team who made it all happen. Highly recommended

I booked onto the Nagarkot hiking day tour from Kathmandu. I contacted Shree by email and he was incredibly helpful & responsive. In the end I got a private tour with a great guide & they even tailored it to my needs, making sure to take my backpack to the hotel in Nagarkot for me so that I wouldn’t have to carry it with me. The hike was great with lots of beautiful views and we got to meet some lovely locals on the way. Highly recommended!

Did Annapurna Base Camp Trek over 9 days with this company Nov’23. We were a group of 8 friends (4 couples). The responses to questions from Base Trek Adventures during the booking process were prompt and clear. The flexibility to change the timing and route was great - in the end we opted for 2 nights at MBC (3700m) although we had originally booked1 MBC and 1 ABC (4130m). The Base guide (Prakash Adhikari) was excellent, he spoke excellent English ( and other languages ) ; he was informative; able to answer questions; knew the team of Sherpas well ( they were also excellent too). Throughout he offered options, canvassed the group on our preferences; briefed us at the start and end of each day; sought feedback on what we had liked / disliked each day; gave good estimates of time to morning tea/lunch/accommodation. He carried a fairly extensive medical kit offering FOC antibiotics (when one of our group needed them); he knew the area; and other trekking areas in Nepal and had plenty of photos to back up his anecdotes from previous trips. He was very polite and friendly. The trip included - transport to the start of the trek, - loan of sleeping bag and down jacket ( had fitting in Katmandu before trek) they were clean and fresh - accommodation - breakfast, lunch, dinner - national park trekking visas ( bring passport photo with you) - keep transfer back to Pokhara As expected/explained to us it did NOT include drinks / water / WiFi / Hot showers ( higher up) - suggest $20 /day TAKE CASH as no credit cards etc once on trek!! Highly recommend

We had an EXCELLENT personal and spiritual 9-day trip with Base Camp Adventure on the EBC trail this past week, with a helicopter ride out back to Kathmandu at the end of our trek into Base Camp. Our group included 5 members from different parts of the US. Base Camp Adventure was very easy to communicate and discuss our trip plans with, they were very proactive in arranging our airport pickups and drop offs, last minute arrangements of porter(s). And we had a wonderful experience with our guide, Shiva, learning about different parts of the trail as well as insights into life of the locals from some deeper conversations with him during our trek. One of our team members required an emergency medical evacuation after second day from Namche Bazaar, and that was taken care of very smoothly as well including coordination with the travel insurance company. Base Camp Adventure was also very proactive with planning around fluidity during the trek, i.e., if one or more members were slower than the others, on how to accommodate that during the trek (extra lodging, support, etc). We would highly recommend Base Camp Adventure for your treks and we also hope to go on future treks with them.

We did the 5 day Annapurna Base Camp trek with Base Camp Adventure. Prakash was an excellent guide. Friendly and knowledgeable, he made our whole group feel at home immediately and he was especially flexible with us, finding a second porter at late notice and working with the local suppliers when our itinerary needed a slight change. I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone considering a trek in Nepal, as Prakash can do any trek, not just Annapurna.

We went to everest base camp trek. We were satisfied with base camp adventure company program and schedule. The guide was very helpful and explained us about the places while trekking. We shall definitely recommend the service of base camp adventure for exploring.

I have recently completed Annapurna Base Camp and Mardi Himil. I can highly recommend this trek with Landmark Discovery Treks. My guide Badri Panta was first class. He looked after all my needs, best places to stay, suggestions on what to eat etc. The lodges generally were fist class. Some with attached toilet and shower. The views at base camp were spectacular. Anybody who is reasonably fit can do this hike. The Annapurna trek has many steps so be prepared, but if a 78 year old can do it then so can you. ,

I was with Neapl Peak Adventure on 9 days trekking to Annapurna base camp. Everything was great: had great guide Giri and great sherpa Simon- we both had good time with wonderful views. All thing was prepared amazing (accomodations, programm, food).I would like to come back and with sure will take another trekking with this company. Owner MR Hom also was amazing person for me- very helpful thx a lot, was pleasure for me to attend inn this trekking !

Very rewarding and challenging 19 day trek around the scenic Annapurna massif. Shree picked me up at the airport in KTM and dropped me to my hotel. There he introduced me to my guide for the trip Saroj and we did a quick inventory check and picked up some last minute items for the trip (crampons and down jacket etc). Saroj was very helpful throughout the trip, 19 days is a long time on the trail and he was always friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, particularly on the really challenging days when the trekking was very physically taxing. We had plenty of laughs everyday and it was always fun and entertaining - even on the tough days. The trekking is superb, and the terrain varies wildly from alpine/evergreen/bamboo/rhododendron forests to dusty trails; to the snow covered Throng La Pass (starting at 04.30 with a temperature of -18 degrees Celsius and difficult weather conditions on the 5.5 hour descent). That day I relied heavily on Saroj’s guiding experience and knowledge to safely traverse the pass. Overall he was a great guide and I would highly recommend Saroj and Basecamp Adventure for any trek in Nepal. I would certainly avail of their services again if/when I return to Nepal.

We recently completed an unforgettable Everest Base Camp trek with helicopter return through Base Camp Adventure. Prior to our departure, Shree was a gem and was always available to answer any questions we had about the trek via WhatsApp. He provided us with all the necessary information and made sure we were fully prepared for the journey ahead. From start to finish, our guide Shakti was an absolutely legend and went above and beyond to make sure our trek was enjoyable, safe and full of great banter! Throughout the trek, he remained flexible and accommodating to our needs, especially when we fell ill and faced some delays. Shakti was always one step ahead, anticipating any issues that may arise and ensuring that we were comfortable every step of the way. He even managed to organise a surprise (freshly baked!) birthday cake for me at 4,000m above sea level! I couldn’t imagine doing this trek without Shakti at our side! The trek itself was breathtaking, with stunning views of the Himalayas and plenty of opportunities to immerse ourselves in the local culture. I highly recommend the helicopter return, which cut out any potential flight delays from Lukla airport. From the exceptional service provided by Shree to the outstanding guiding from Shakti, it was genuinely an experience of a lifetime. Go!!!

We have had a really great time in Nepal, it was our first time there and the tour is perfect for it (Nepal Cultural Tour). We loved every activities and places where we stayed at night. So much to learn and to see, plus the food is delicious! A personal driver and a tour guide just for us two. We highly recommend Basecamp Adventure, Shree made sure everything was planned and great. Plus, he adapted the tour to us (we had one day more) so he booked one night more at the hotel and ensured airport pick up and drop off. Stress relieving ! We have amazing pictures and memories !

On our 4th visit to Nepal with Base camp adventures, Shree organised our new package starting with a 12 day Langtang Gosainkunda Lake trek. Beginning with an exiting jeep ride to Syaprubesi and ending in Nagarcot. As always a faultless experience from start to finish. With spectacular views of the Langtang valley and the peaceful surroundings of the lakes its a must do trek. Our guide Shiva was fantastic with excellent English and a wide knowledge of our surroundings . So impressed we booked another trek with Shree and asked for Shiva again on the Mardi Himal a 5 day trek in the Annapurna region. Another must fo if time is against you, great views and changeable landscapes. We finished our package off in Bardyia national park, 3 days safari, first day jeep ride we found a Bengal Tiger, close up! Followed by wild Elephants and Rhinos. For Birders like us this is paradise. Thank you Shree again! and our guide Shiva for another wonderful experience see you next year.

Annapurna base camp trek is a truly exhilarating experience! Shree from Base Camp Adventures was very gracious and accommodative of my last minute requests for the trek due to a change in my schedule. He took care of all the bookings and arrangements. Arjun, my guide was great to work with and we shared so many stories on the trek. I’d highly recommend Base Camp Adventures for all your hiking adventures in Nepal.

ABC in March was beautiful. Rhododendrons in full flower and snow at higher altitudes. Bring your winter woollies though, it gets very cold at night and the teahouses higher up generally don't have heating. We added in the Poon Hill trek which was a treat. If you think it's going to be an easy trek think again, there are many thousands of stairs up and down to contend with. Our guide Shiva was very knowledgeable and accommodating (with 13yrs experience guiding). Our porter Pramod was a superstar! They were both very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend both of them! The ABC trek was tough but absolutely worth it!!! Thank you Shree at Base Camp Adventures for organising our trip. He is very accommodating with our requests for our itinerary for not only the trek but extra time spent in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a very good trekking with Basecampadventure. It was some fantastic days and we had a really excellent guide, Shiva, and his assistant, Govinda. They made this tour very interesting and we felt safe the whole way. They were very good at explaining about the culture and the mountains. They are helpful and they took good care of us. We would definitely recommend a trip with them.
