About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 676jos_s0 contributionsKathmanduAll went well in this tour. We highly appreciate Shanti’s work as well as the driver. We don’t have nothing to say about the service, which exceeded our expectations . We really enjoyed the experience.Written September 14, 2024
- 487staceyf0 contributionsBest intro to Kathmandu UNESCO World Heritage sitesTook this tour yesterday with guide, Shanti Karki. It was amazing! Shanti has deep knowledge of Nepal’s religious and cultural history. She’s very easy going and full of great stories. I would recommend to anyone!Written September 13, 2024
- williamhI5003BB0 contributionsHighly RecommendChanti was wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable about the city and all the sites and very friendly. I was glad she joined me for lunch. She also bought me a water during our walk and was super flexible about our day. Highly recommend this tour to see all the UNESCO sites of Kathmandu. I didn't linger much so we finished in nine hours vs 12.Written September 10, 2024
- anettecarmenh0 contributionsFascinating Kathmandu! The day tour takes about 12 hours and leads you to the most important sites in Kathmandu - from a living goddess to the very important buddhist and hindu temples. A must for every Kathmandu visitor - highly recommended. Our guide was very caring and very knowledgable about nepalese history, buddhism and hinduism. Pankaj was a really great tour guide! :-)Written August 24, 2024
- billhK3216MB0 contributionsThree High Mountain Passes to Everest Base CampThis is a life-changing trek in so many ways. Seeing and learning about the Nepalese people and how they continue to struggle after the impact of the 2016 earthquake is heart wrenching. The trek itself was fairly physically demanding, but each stop had its own learning for me. This is different than the Everest Base Camp Trek as it is quite a bit longer and you spend a lot more time above 17000 feet. I loved the journey and made some great friends while there. I highly recommend this trek to those who are physically able. FYI - I actually went in 2018, but that was not a choice in the drop down menu.Written August 21, 2024
- Carol F0 contributionsComprehensive Tour of Kathmandu’s Main AttractionsShanti was our tour guide and she was extremely knowledgeable about the history and religious buildings in Kathmandu. Her English was excellent and she was very easy to understand. We had seen a few of the sites the day previous, and she was flexible in finding a few alternative sites we could visit. She was excellent in explaining religious practices and the various gods and beliefs. Shanti was very accommodating and flexible to our needs.Written August 4, 2024
- Vacation046355414200 contributionsFabulous and Full Day TripWe were so lucky to have Shanti as our guide for the Seven World Heritage Site Tour. Shanti is an experienced guide knew so much information about each one of our stops. She was punctual, and ensured we had everything we needed before the tour even started. Shanti was accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable, sharing her passion along the route. We had an excellent day. Just be warned it is a full packed day. Thank you to Shanti and Gopal our drive for making this experience unforgettable.Written August 4, 2024
- chrisjP9125MY0 contributionsAll the good stuff and moreWe only had two days in Kathmandu as soon as we arrived and wanted to see as much as we could. Anant our guide was fantastic, super helpful and very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. Unfortunately due to illness we had to cut the tour at lunch time half way through BUT the company was very flexible for us to continue the rest of the tour the next day and we didn't miss a thing. All the hassle of getting around, entry into each site and even recommendations on good lunch spots are all taken care of. Our car was super comfortable and the drivers very kind and considerate. Again - Anant was so good and I couldn't recommend highly enough such a comprehensive tour of Kathmandu's UNESCO sites. Thank You!Written August 1, 2024

- 492yasmeenw0 contributionsAmazing Cultural Experience with a great company!!This tour was a win from start to finish! The company contacted be the night prior to confirm the pick up time and location, and let me know who my guide would be. Kabita arrived right on time. The tour was absolutely amazing and Kabita really made the trip wonderful by taking the time to explain so much about each site, information that would have been completely missed had I tried to see all of the sites on my own. I feel so fortunate to have been able to see and learn so much about Nepal, Kathmandu, Hindu and Buddhism in such a short time. Kabita was also helpful in helping me find and bargain for souvenirs. The car was nice, new, clean and cool, and the driver was great, even the coffe and lunch break locations were very nice! This was a wonderful, jam packed tour, and a great experience. I definitely recommend this tour and Himalayan Advisor, Kathmandu!Written July 24, 2024

Well organised, efficient, thoughtful, knowledgeable, able to answer all my questions on history of Nepal and the unesco sites, kind, and flexible. The tour was excellent; I really enjoyed it, saw some amazing stupa, temples and palaces, and have a better understanding of Nepal. Highly recommend visiting Kathmandu and taking this tour. I really Appreciated the chance of regular washroom and rest breaks as it’s a long day.Written July 21, 2024

- O9724XNkevink0 contributionsNice! We’ll set up. Modern equipment nice ride up and down. View should be spectacular but we went rainy day (don’t do that). We ride zip line. Only 30 seconds for long one so very short but fun. Cost 800 rupees (@7$) each. Beer garden so so but dirty/moldy furniture (see photo). Probably a must on clear days!Written July 7, 2024
- Tamara W0 contributionsComprehensive tour of KathmanduWe spent an amazing day with our guide Ananta on this comprehensive tour of the key historically significant sites in Kathmandu.
