- Maurus5020 contributionsAmazing experienceI had an amazing experience with Nepal Social Trek! Starting with clear communication and well-organized trip planning followed by a warm welcome, we were impressed by the great hospitality we received from everyone. The trip was a real adventure, full of happy emotions and beautiful moments shared together. Our guides, Narayan and Govinda, were extremely skilled and knowledgeable. They were not only excellent guides but also beautiful people from a human point of view. After the trek, Nepal Social Trek also arranged a guided tour of the city of Bhaktapur and its temples for us. I absolutely recommend Nepal Social Trek!Written January 13, 2025
- 684andreagiuseppes0 contributionsSagarmatha Base CampThey provided anything needed. The lodges, meals and guide service. The guide was really prepared and he gave indications to not incur the mountain sickness. He also explain day by day the program and was flexible to any chenge to cope with his clients' needs. The guide and the porter were really friendly and nice, tried to settled a good relationship along the way. They let us immerse in the Nepali culture and we are so grateful for their cheerful company.Written January 11, 2025

- joannagM8882ZA0 contributionsLangtang Valley TrekWhat an epic trip! Nepal Social Treks were brilliant. Seamless organisation from start to finish. They were always friendly and responsive with communication before I came out, were helpful when it came to hiccups with my baggage. And were flexible with my tour, switching from the Tamang to the Langtang trek with no complaints. My guide - Kamal, and porter - Santa, were both excellent. Kamal was super knowledgable, trustworthy, and great company. Santa’s a legend! The accommodation & food were great. The daily trekking: incredible and just the right level of challenging. I could not recommend this trek enough if you’re after something shorter.Written December 1, 2024

- 235verenaw0 contributionsGreat experience: Manaslu Circuit and Annapurna ExtensionFirst of all, we would like to thank you for the unforgettable trek! To summarise briefly in advance: We had a wonderful time with our guide, in which we laughed, learned and exchanged a lot, and a great organisation on the part of Nepal Social Treks. We contacted Nepal Social Treks online before our trip and communicated very well and reliably by email. All our questions, suggestions and changes were taken into account and a very personalised trekking route was created. Even after completing the trek, Nepal Social Treks was there to help us with any challenges on site. Our guide Kamal and our porter Santa made our 17-day trek unforgettable. Kamal familiarised us with religious and scenic features and answered every question we had. With his good, trusted contacts with local families and especially about the challenges at high altitudes, we were in good hands at all times and could trust him completely, so that we were able to adapt to the altitude even without medical means. Due to our good walking speed, stages were adapted at short notice and additional excursions were made possible. When we were a little sick at the end, Kamal was able to support us with his medical knowledge. Kamal supported us at all times and always did his best for us. Santa also looked after our wellbeing very well and supported us with a lot of energy. We would like to warmly recommend the company Nepal Social Treks (Basu) and our team Kamal and Santa to all Himalayan adventurers! The services provided were to our complete satisfaction and beyond! Thank you, thank you, thank you! See you again soon - we will definitely do more treks with you.Written November 13, 2024
- V7511MIgregb0 contributionsEBC TrekOutstanding service from before we arrived til the end of our trip. Everything was well prepared even when things changed due to flight delays etc. We done the EBC trek as a family of 4 with our 11 and 12 year old. Our guide Kamal made our trek very relaxed and kept us well informed on what to expect each day. Kamal and our porter Prem made sure we were well looked after during the trek and when we stopped at the tea house, often joining in card games and teaching us new ones. They were both good with the kids and made sure they were always laughing and happy. Kamal also adjusted the trek to make things more comfortable for us and was very knowledgeable about all the surrounding landscapes and villages. We feel like we have made a friend for life.Written October 25, 2024
- Y3941EKjessicas0 contributionsAn amazing trip full of core memories!!!Bhim Kumar Tamang and his brother are such a phenomenal team. Together we completed the Passes Trek to Everest Base Camp and they made sure we were taken care of and having a great time every step of the way. Although the trek was difficult, our guide remained professional and has such a positive attitude the entire time! He went above and beyond his regular duties and I am extremely grateful. I would recommend this trek to anyone looking for a good physical challenge!Written October 22, 2024
- adelel6870 contributionsWonderful Trekking Experience to EBCOur whole experience with Nepal Social Treks was professional and positive from beginning to end. Booking was easy and Basu was very responsive to my many questions in the months leading up to the trek. Once we arrived in Kathmandu our guide, Bishnu, was there to pick us up at the airport in the middle of the night. Bishnu was so knowledgeable and experienced and gave us lots of great advice throughout the trek to make sure that my family and I all got to EBC successfully. We did the trek with our two kids, ages 11 and 14. Because of Bishnu, we will always have great memories of the EBC trek. I would not hesitate to recommend booking a trek through Nepal Social Treks!Written October 16, 2024
- garymP1238TV0 contributionsPoon Hill trekThis was our first visit to Nepal and our first trek. It was amazing! Physically relatively easy despite our initial reservations. We were lucky with v good weather. The views of the omnipresent mountains were superb. Our guide Santabir was extremely attentive and took very good care of us. The only problem was that he beat us at cards 3 nights in a row! The hotel stays in Katmandu and Pokhara as part of the package were of a very good standard. However, I would opt for flights despite an additional cost between Katmandu and Pokhara as the bus journey was 8-10hrs and very bumpy.Written October 12, 2024
- 604niekk0 contributionsWonderful 3 high passes trekLast September I went on a three high passes trek of social trek Nepal with a private guide and porter. The stuff of Social Trek Nepal were wonderful and the trekking went smooth. The accommodation and food were amazing. Nothing to complain.Written October 3, 2024
- 196martinad0 contributionsNepal Social Trekking over the expectationsI did the circuit to get to the Annapurna base camp plus the safari to Chitwan. It was a super positive experience that I recommend to everyone. My guide Urgen was kind, helpful and precious in every single step. I strongly recommend everything with Nepal Social Trekking: the organisation, the details, the guides and the itinerary. The costs are in line with the offer available in Kathmandu but - as always- the people made the difference. And they did. I have already booked with them also the trekking to reach to Everest base camp.Written September 26, 2024
- J2832OHtravish0 contributionsExcellent time trekking to Everest Base Camp as a familyMy family and I just finished trekking to Everest Base Camp with Achut and Nepal Social. The trip was excellent and we have wonderful memories. Nepal Social were adept at organising all the details including hotel, flights to Lukla, trekking permits, guest house bookings, etc. Samjhana in the office was very helpful and flexible, sorting our flights to accommodate one of our children, who is a nervous flier. She even sent a cake to our hotel for our anniversary, which was incredibly thoughtful. Thank you. Our guide Achut was incredible - so knowledgable, professional, caring and enjoyable to be around. He knows everyone on the trek and we received such a warm welcome at every guest house we went to. Our children (age 11 and 13) loved playing cards with him and he was very attentive to their needs on the trail. Our porters (Milan and Thirtha) also were fantastic, always getting our belongings to the right place on time and coming back for us when needed (such as when we ended up on the trail in the dark and required torches!). If you have a family and are keen to do the EBC trek, I would definitely recommend using Nepal Social.Written September 24, 2024
- DanaLONDRES0 contributionsBest guide for a family going to Everest Base CampI can highly recommend this wonderful company. Nepal Social was great. They organised everything for us and planned our trip in a flexible way to accommodate the needs of our family (2 parents, a 13 year old and an 11 year old). We really enjoyed the welcome dinner and Nepal Social were supportive with our flight requests too. They even sent us a cake at the hotel on our anniversary - so thoughtful! I highly recommend this company, especially if you are trekking with your family. Our guide was the absolute best we could have asked for! I can’t say enough about Achut. He is an incredible guide and was perfect for our family. I grew to really trust him with our safety and wellbeing. The trek is hard and we all struggled with tummy problems. There were a few days when I thought we would never make it to base camp, but Achut was always encouraging, realistic and adaptable, including changing our itinerary when we got stomach illnesses and couldn’t trek for one day. Achut is so thoughtful and generous - providing fresh fruit for us nightly to ensure we were getting enough vitamins. He was flexible and accommodated our pace when some of us were unwell and we needed an extra rest day. He hwas so helpful in advising on how to stay healthy, keep warm, eat well. Achut is also kind, encouraging, really attentive to the kids, he taught us Nepali card games, and so lovely to be around! He is knowledgable, practical, and very capable. I trusted my family’s safety with him. If you are able to get him as your guide, count yourself fortunate. We will have memories for a lifetime from this trip and we will never forget Achut!Written September 24, 2024
