Definitely an amazing experience with our trekking guide Janak and porter Rajendra. They took care of us a lot during this trekking, and we will come back for another trekking with them again!

This was our first trek in the Himalayas and we could not be more impressed with Babu and his team. We did the 8-day tour that included 2 nights in Kathmandu, 2 in Pokhara, and 3 nights lodging in lodges during our trek of the Annapurna mountains (Ulleri, Ghorepani, and Tadepani). Nanda was a great trek guide and our porter Ghokul was kind and impressive! A few suggestions for new trekkers like my son and I: 1. This trek is not technically difficult but you will be exhausted along the way from the elevation changes. 2. Lots of water options, so don't need to bring it with you. 3. Bring long socks and long pants during wet season for protection from the pervasive leeches on the trail. 4. Bring a towel, shampoo, soap as lodges do not have them. 5. Bring hat and sunscreen. 6. Have some Nepali rupees on the trail (at least 10,000). Your tour provides main meals and some of the drinks with meals. Everything else is on you and I wish I had brought more cash to buy a beer or snacks after long hikes and for tips to lodge workers (no ATMs or credit cards accepted at lodges). 7. The bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara is closer to 10 hours due to road work that will likely continue for 2 more years. It's bumpy and tiring. We changed our return from Pokhara to Kathmandu to go by flight, which takes 25 minutes and costs about $100. 8. Good hiking boots are essential for comfort and safety. 9. You may not see much of the snow capped mountains if you come during the rainy season June to late October. We still saw plenty of cool things that made it worthwhile, but beware that hikes in the wetter season means cloud cover that impedes mountain views. Overall, a great trip thanks to Babu's great efforts. This is a family business and his service was personalized and responsive. We felt covered and supported the entire time!

It was our first time in Nepal and we had a great time. Trip is well organised together with airport transfer and Jeep ride. Our guide Dinesh and our 2 porters Raj took great care of us along the trail. Accommodations are well organised by Dinesh and nearly 90% of the guest houses we stayed have private toilet inside the room, which is our wish because going to shared toilet outside the room to do your business in such a cold weather is very annoying. And we didn't expect we can take hot gas shower for so many days. Totally surprised. Some of the guest house restaurants are very delicious too. Great choice by our guide. Porters Raj are very fast & responsible too. Some of the days we were in good conditions so we didn't took mush rest along the trek and arrived at guest house early than expected. But the porters always arrived very soon after we arrived so that we can quickly change our clothes or take shower. Great effort by them! Big thanks. Dinesh helped us to combine two short hiking days (Manang - Shree Kharka, Shree Kharka - Tilicho base camp) into 1 day and use the day spared in Tatopani. Turns out we split the hard big ascend from Tatopani and Ghorepani into 2 days which is very nice. Although there was somethings we think can improve like local bus ride is much longer than the itinerary said (6 hours vs 10.5 hours). If we were given more updated information, we night just take a flight. Anyway, it was a great trip and a great adventure in Nepal and the Annapurna region. Thanks team!

This is my second trip to Nepal. I really love the cold weather and the snow. Because in my home country of Thailand, we don't have this at all. This time we escape from the hot weather and travel to Nepal, a land of some of the world's highest mountains covered in snow. We trekked to Thorang La Pass, 5416 m from sea level during 11 – 21 Apr 2024 with Adventure Great Himalaya Treks & Expeditions with Summer as our great guide. We had a lot of great hiking, amazing views, excellent accommodations and beautiful Nepalese along the way. It's a lifetime experience and achievement. If you are looking for a professional organizer I recommend this company to you. You will definitely be impressed and want to come back to visit Nepal again. Had a chance to do a 9-day trek to the ABC + Poon Hill, with our experienced guide Janak and two porters Gokul and Raju. They are friendly and showed great hospitality, we had lots of laughters all along our journey. Janak speaks fluent English, and surprisingly he can speak some basic German. The company took good care of us by providing timely transportation between airports/bus stations and hotels. They also helped us to coordinate post trekking activities as requested. Not to mention they treated us with decent local Nepalese food as our farewell dinner. Overall, a very decent and memorable trip. This company is definitely recommended.

A big thanks to Babu and his team for making our first trip to Nepal a smooth and enjoyable one! Manager Gakul and Driver Sunil picked us up at the airport and when our domestic flight was cancelled, they quickly made arrangements for transport to Pokhara by means of car without any hesitation. Thanks Driver Sunil for driving through the night to ensure that we arrive in Pokhara safely. Our trek was guided and supported by Guide Nanda and Porter Gokul. They took such great care of us and we really had a lot of fun and laughter along the way. They are definitely experienced! Huge thanks to the both of them for supporting us throughout the trek and that we managed to finish it together.

We had a wonderful time on our first ever trek to Poon hill. Our guide Dinesh and our 2 porters Raj and Rajendra took great care of us. I would highly recommend Adventure Great Himalaya Treks & Expedition! Also would highly recommend our team led by Dinesh! Although the Poon Hill Trek is considered moderately difficult Dinesh made sure we kept a proper pace to not over exert ourselves and to be safe in challenging areas as the terrain changes quite a bit along the route. We all appreciated his expertise and the hard work the porters exerted in taking good care of us and our gear.

Krisha is a complete pro. Did the 3 night, 4 day Poon HIll trek. The trekking times were spaced just right. Great experience.

Perfectly tailored trekking tour by Babu and his team. Everything was organized: Airport transfers + warm welcome by Gakul at the airport. Hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Jeep transfer to Annapurna trek and bus transfer back to Kathmandu. Nice accommodation on the trek. Lovely guide Dinesh who helped us with a great route through the mountains and lots of information about the area and Nepalese culture (and everything else). And of course the reason we came^^ Breathtaking views of the mountains everywhere, I still have many scenes in my mind's eye. Unfortunately I got sick on the trek and had to travel back, but that was also all organized by Dinesh and Babu. So I got home safe and sound and my friend finished the trek alone with Dinesh. Nevertheless, it was a great trip and a great adventure in Nepal and the Annapurna region. Thanks again to Babu, Gakul, Dinesh and the Adventure Great Himalaya team.

It was a great experience. Even though it was a long journey but we love it a lot. We did not only see various scenic environments but we also learnt a lot from the journey. Thanks to our guide, Janak, and our porter. And many thanks to Babu and his manager that managed everything for us when we were in Nepal. This trip is valuable. If we plan to go to Nepal next time, we will definitely choose this company again.

My sister and I did the Annapurna Loop trek in April 2024. Our wonderful guide Shankir, and our fabulous porter Rajendra made us feel so safe and made sure that we had a lot of fun along the way! Shankir was very knowledgeable about the route, nature, history of Nepal and environment. He always made sure that we were comfortable and looked after which was lovely being 2 young females travelling alone. We had a wonderful experience together and recommend this trip 100% if you love a challenge, beautiful scenery and nature. The trip director Babu was very helpful before, during and after the trip we would definitely recommend! Not the trip for you if you get very carsick! Good value for money and memories we have forever. We will miss all the card games with Shankir and Rajendra, and waking up amongst the mountains!

My wife and I spent 8 days in Nepal with Adventure Great Himalaya from late March to early April 2024. We did the Everest Panorama trek with some slight modifications, covering Kathmandu to Manthali to Lukla (actually, Surke on the way up due to some weather complications) to Dingboche to Nangkartshang Peak and back. This was a hugely enjoyable way to spend our Easter break, mainly thanks to our guide, and now friend, Krishna. Krishna is immaculately professional and knowledgeable, but more importantly he is a great guy to hang out with for a week in the Himalayas. I would certainly recommend Adventure Great Himalaya to anyone considering a trekking holiday in Nepal.

I trekked up Pikey Peak with a friend, a guide and a porter. We had such an amazing time with great views of Everest and the Himalayas. We were taken care of very well and so I would definitely recommend Adventure Great Himalaya to anyone wanting to do a guided trek!
