We will take you through such a route that you will visit all the beautiful villages on the way there and back. Altitude – From 4,600 feet at Kathmandu to 13,550 feet at Annapurna Base Camp Difficulty – Most days of the trek will be spent in lower Himalayas so they should not be as tough. One trip with several items ticked off the bucket list, Unforgettable trip!!
This trip was perfect for me, it had a mix of everything I was looking for; sightseeing, trekking (I don’t do a lot so a few days was perfect with unbelievable snow covered mountains) adventures and cultural. I went in August which is the ‘rainy’ season, but it was Sunny everyday with a few afternoon showers the odd day, so I wouldn’t let that put you off going then. My guide Kumar for the entire trip made it what it was, from start to finish he kept me updated on what was next, and was always making sure everything was up to scratch in terms of service and quality. The trip was seamless, with everything arranged such as transport, bookings for adventures, sightseeing etc. it was ideal as there was noting for me to do but enjoy. The accommodation was great, the food was great and the Nepalese people are lovely. I really couldn’t fault this trip, Kumar's and Mountain Kicks service was 5 star. The price was extremely reasonable for what you get. When I return I will definitely be using Mountain Kick again. Thanks for an unforgettable trip!

Mt Everest base camp with Mountain Kick
I was recommended to Mountain kick from a friend that had gone two years ago. I did not know what to expect. After this experience, I'm extremely pleased and glad I chose Mountain Kick. Kumar greeted us at the airport upon landing in Kathmandu and was alongside the entire way. He would brief us every single day on the next day plans and had it all figured out. It was an awesome experience and definitely recommend you go with someone extremely experience like Kumar with Mountain Kick.

        Service could be improved
All in all, it was a great experience booking a tour with Mountainkick tours, although I wished that the service could be improved. The only they can be contacted (at least for me) is through e-mail. they have no whatsapp, messenger, viber (I later knew that they have wechat, the app I don’t have). We had a problem upon arriving at the airport because the pickup was late and we had no means to contact them. But as soon as they arrived, they apologized immediately and treated us properly from then on. The hotels they booked for us was superb, although the wifi connection in the room is very poor, not unless you’re in the lobby. Our tour guides are the best. i have to commend Gourav because he went out of his way to meet us and apologize for the trouble it caused us. He and his team are very helpful in every way, though there are some setbacks, it was an amazing trip nonetheless. Add whatsapp on your list of contact medium, and never be late on the pickup especially if it’s your guests’ first time in Nepal. Thanks.

Wonderful Trek with MountainKick!!! Great Experience
I would like to thank the team of Mountain Kick, especially my guide Kumar. Recently did the EBC trip with Kumar leading our 9 pax group. The EBC trip was amazing. Breathtaking scenery from day 1 till the end. You feel like a spec in the universe surrounded by majestic mountains that dwarf everything. Truly humbling experience living with Nepalese locals seeing how positive they are after all the hardship of recent earthquakes and just life. We all have so much to be grateful for and this trip just emphasize that!!! If you want to go to Nepal, go with Mountain Kick!!!

        EBC Trek with Mountain Kick
During November of 2018, our group of nine firefighters from the US departed on a journey of a lifetime. For me, this was my second trip to Nepal and Everest Base Camp. The entire reason I returned was due to our guide Kumar and the outstanding service they provide. We were met at the airport and taken to our hotel in Kathmandu. After we settled in, its off for sightseeing. Mountain Kick provided us with an exceptional guide and great transportation. A few days later, we were off to the mountains. Getting to Lukla is easy with an experienced guide like Kumar. The lodging on the trek was outstanding and the food was great. An extra shout out to Dhan and Kumar for all the help getting one of our trekkers down to the hospital due to and unfortunate foot injury. The rest of the crew made it safely to EBC. This was truly a trip of a lifetime. Thank you also for your hospitality by your friends and family that welcomed us and feed us a great meal along with the shopping trip to the local bazaar. The small touches make your company the best. Look forward to coming back soon.

        Our experience in Nepal.
A trip to Nepal, is a once off trip, and you want it to get the most of of the short time you have there. Selecting the various points of interest that you want to visit in the country is very daunting, so I was relieved to find guided tours in Nepal while perusing the options on the Viator website for “all in holidays” in Nepal. It is difficult to know what to expect when reading the itinerary but we wanted to see some of the main cities and see some countryside as well, which would then give us a snapshot of Nepal. We opted for the Nepal Heritage Tour which is a ten day tour. We were welcomed at the airport by the tour representative, Gourav Basnet, and from the moment we met at the airport to the time he returned us back to the airport, he ensured that all our needs were met. His constant attention to detail and our needs gave our tour group a most memorable holiday. I must admit that there is a lot of travelling but its made easier when you can relax in an air conditioned vehicle. The driver, along with the tour guide were dedicated to our group for the duration of the trip, and were very knowledgable and helpful. We stayed in various hotels around the country, and all were of reasonable quality, all were very clean and comfortable. One in particular stands out, the hotel in Pokhara, where the accommodation was very quaint, and having an elevation of over 8,000 ft. enjoyed truly spectacular views of the Himalayas. Getting up early is a must to see the spectacular sunrise which is unforgettable. The overnight stay was too short for such a beautiful location. The food that was provided in all the locations was extremely good. The tour which is operated by Mountain Kick, arranged for local tour guides at each of the locations we visited. The selected guides were all fully qualified and fluent in English, making for a very pleasant and informative tour. Most of the tour guides were able to suggest the best locations to purchase souvenirs, and some were able to negotiate a little discount as well. One of the most memorable points of the tour was the section at Chitwan National Park, where we enjoyed early morning trek in the sub tropical jungle, safe on the back of an elephant. You get much closer to the wildlife that way and we were able to get within 20 yards of rhinos and a selection of wild deer. The dawn chorus, the fog along the river, and crisp morning air, all viewed from the safety of the elephants back, made for a truly magical experience, and together with the service from the hotel staff leaves an unforgettable beautiful memory. The tour ends with a night out in Kathmandu which was arranged by Gourav, were we enjoyed local foods, and entertained by displays of native dancing and singing. You can find the tour I was on, listed on the Viator website, and its called Nepal Heritage Tour and I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this tour for your visit to Nepal. Nepal is a fantastic country to visit. The people are the friendliest and most optimistic of any people I have ever met. The crime rate is very low, so you can feel safe wandering around the shops in Kathmandu. Sadly poverty is very common, and your visit will give the country much needed tourist income. Nepal has really spectacular mountain views, and not just Everest or the Himalayas. The country is trying to recover from a massive earthquake which happened in April 2015, when almost 9,000 people were killed. Evidence of the quake are still visible in certain areas.

        Best Trip Ever
We had a truly amazing experience with Kumar trekking to EBC. After several days of flight delays he was able to knowledgeably adjust our itinerary to allow us to push on to Base Camp and still make it back to Kathmandu in time for our international flights. Always friendly, informative and helpful - I would always recommend to use Mountain Kick and Kumar!

The best trek we could have imagined
My husband and I have recently completed the trek through mountain kick to poon hill. Upon arrival to Kathmandu airport we had come to realise our luggage was not on our flight. Kumar our trek leader was there to pick us up and called and spoke with the plane companies on several occasions for us organising them on the next available flight. From this moment on we knew that we had found someone special to take us on our trek of a lifetime, someone that really cared. Nothing on our trip was too much hassle for Kumar or his porter Tule. On our trek as well, Kumars knowledge of the mountains and local people meant that when we didnt see sunrise at Poon Hill as planned (monsoon season) he changed a couple of nights stay around which meant we ended up staying right under Annapurna south and getting a secret view of the mountains not many people seemed to know about. This is the benefit of going with a local guide over a big corporation they just know these things. At conclusion we have both made a friend for life and would recommend Mountain Kick again and again for anyone who wants to feel at home, at ease and really have the most hassle free special time in Nepal that is possible!! 11/10 thanks again Mountain Kick!

Experience of a lifetime, Annapurna Base Camp trek
Five of us, all between 68 to 71 years old, decided to go on one last adventure, a 9 day trek to Annapurna Base Camp. We randomly chose Mountain Kick to set up the trip and were extremely happy with their performance. They handled everything from meeting us at the airport, setting up 4 nights in a nice hotel in Kathmandu, 2 nights in Pokhara, 8 nights of guest houses on the trail, all internal transportation, 3 porters to carry much of our gear up the trail, and, most of all, an extremely competent and friendly guide, Kumar, to accompany us and make sure everything went off smoothly. The trek was demanding; don’t delude yourself that it’s just a walk in the park! Miles and miles everyday, always going either steeply uphill or downhill for 9 days straight! But the tremendous views and scenery as well as the great sense of accomplishment make it all worthwhile!

        Mountain Kick delivered 100%
Our group of 5 guys (healthy, active, senior citizens) booked a 12 day tour with 2 extra nights in Kathmandu. We spent a total of 4 nights in Kathmandu, 2 nights in Pokhara, and trekked for 9 days. We all had a great time -- the trek, while challenging, was not overwhelming. Kumar, our guide, provided that extra attention and care to anyone that needed it. The scenery was, as expected, fantastic but the surprise was the warmth of the Nepali people that we meet everywhere. Accommodations, both in the cities and along the trial exceeded our expectations. Mountain Kick is a well connected small company. They have the connections to provided a smooth and seamless trip but they are small enough that each and every client is important to them. the service was so personal that it was like traveling with old friends. When booking a trip half way around the world, trust is very important. Mountain Kick is a worthy of your trust, they delivered 100% on what they promised.

Dhanyabad!!!! That is thank you in Nepalese for all out there. My friend and I recently visited the Annapurna Base camp with the help of the MountainKick. The trek was amazing, we were blessed by the weather and got some amazing views of the peaks throughout our trek, especially at the Base Camp. Our guide, Jeevan, was great. Always good humored and made every day lots of fun.

Overall we enjoyed every moment of being in the mountains. The best part was to have breakfast with the stunning view of the Mountains. The trail past the Modi Khola River and a forest towards Bamboo were amazing. Also, to add waking up at the base camp with 360 views of the gigantic mountain was amazing. We could not believe our eyes when the sun rays hit the top of Mount Annapurna. Definitely would recommend anyone who love hiking to go on this adventure.

Mountain kick for sure is the best to book with. Namaste!!!

The trip to any large mountain range in Nepal is never easy but when you are in the hand of Kumar Thapa's company Mountain Kick, rest assured that just about everything is either catered for before you have even asked, and if anything isn't, it will almost certainly be granted. This is a brilliantly organised trek led by a master of the mountains, who knows what to do in cases of difficulty and emergency and how to help you enjoy and understand the scenery when things are going well. Extremely highly recommended

The entire trip was well planned out, from landing in Kathmandu to starting our trek a few days later. The accommodations were excellent and food was amazing, and our guide was very knowledgable about the entire trek and the area. I was able to learn a lot about Nepalese culture from conversations with our guide, and he always had us stay places with authentic Nepalese food and comfortable lodging.

I was in a group of about 8 which I thought was a lot of people but our two guides handled it brilliantly. We were always staying at a place with an amazing view and great food which added to the whole Nepalese experience. When we had a problem with something they would sort it out quickly and easily which was very nice. A very good experience.
