This was our first ever trek in the Himalayan region. Everything was superb and perfect from the moment we landed in Kathmandu. The planning was great and no issues were ever made from it. Shambu, our guide, was a very friendly person the moment we met him. He often make jokes to live up the atmosphere and tells us stories about his life. Most importantly, he always cared about our safety and wellbeing and will go an extra mile to give a helping hand when we needed it. Sipy, our porter, always had a smile on his face and along with shambu, always cheered us up and encouraged us throughout the whole trek. He rlly made us laugh a lot throughout this trip. Terima kasih Shambu and Sipy for giving us this unforgettable experience🙏🙏

This was my 6th Trek with The Trekking Guide team and Shambu Ji and it didn’t disappoint. Kabi’s planning was as meticulously as ever. Everything was in place by the time I landed in Kathmandu Gokyo and Renjo la pass is by far the most breathtaking and beautiful trek I have been a part off. It is far removed from the more crowded trails of more popular hikes. The Gokyo lakes are beautiful and the views from the pass are stunning. You get to see Everest, Lhotse and Makalu from the pass. Do take the time to visit lakes 4 and 5. Once the pass is crossed you have 2 days of walking on pretty much empty trails with stunning vistas of mountains, grazing fields and streams before reaching Namche back. Shambu Ji is fantastic as a guide, very knowledgeable , understands your needs and ensures you are safe, healthy and having an enjoyable trek. Porter Sitaram Ji made this team complete. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Myself and my mother did a 10 day tour, which covered some important sites around the capital Kathmandu, a safari in Chitwan National Park, and trekking in the Pokhara, Dhampus and Sarangkhot areas. The manager Kabiraj met us at the start of our tour in Kathmandu, to explain everything that we needed to know, and to bid us farewell when we ended the tour also in Kathmandu. He was very friendly and helpful, and regularly contacted us throughout the entire trip to make sure everything was ok. Our Kathmandu city guide Subhash was friendly and highly knowledgeable, not only of the city of Kathmandu, but also of Nepal, and the Hindu and Buddhist religions. Our main guide in Chitwan was Babu. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the local wildlife and his eagle eyes that could spot even a very small owl, hidden inside a tree! Our main guide for the entire trip outside Kathmandu, who accompanied us most of the way, was Jit. He was not only very friendly but proved to be extremely helpful, as he was willing to go out of his way to make sure our trip was as enjoyable as possible! The team made sure our hotel facilities were good right throughout! Even in the more remote mountain areas, we had hot showers (which was essential) and wifi access which was useful. When I return to Nepal to explore the rest of the country I will look forward to booking with this company again.

I did the ABC trek in November 2024 organized by Trekking Guide Team Adventure. Everything was seamless, from planning to execution, and the experience will definitely last a lifetime. The guide, Sujan, did an awesome job, was knowledgeable and supportive, and the porter, Suk Bhahadur, also worked tirelessly to make everything run smoothly. They went above and beyond to make sure that every aspect of the trek was enjoyable and safe. The breathtaking routes and the team’s organization efforts made this a once-in-a-lifetime journey. My friend and I did the Annapurna circuit trek and it was spectacular. Breathtaking views as you’d expect in the Himalayas. Weather in November is usually ideal. Only got cold on the early mornings to get over high passes. Accommodation was great for so high up away from every thing. The best was the guide and porter though. Deepak and Sipi were the best and I’ve been all over the world doing this for many years. Great lads and can’t recommend them more highly. They are friends for life!

Trekking on the Langtangvalleytrek was a mezmerizing experience for me. The dimension of the huge valley are immense. What i found esspecially delightful was that you meet the snowpeakmountains step by step until they unfold their full Beauty. My guide Deepak provided me with knowledge about the nature and the region on one hand but gave me lots space to be on my own and through him i was able to connect with local people which was a wish of mine for this trip. This the second time I have been trekking with TGTA. The first was with a large to EBC in 2017. I enjoyed it so much that I booked again, but this time bought my wife for her first trekking experience! Although the Langtang Valley trek is meant to be relatively easy, we are both in our 70’s and found it pretty tough! Our guide Shambu was excellent in all respects and was great fun, very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. The first day we were so slow that we only reached Bamboo and could not make it to the Lama Hotel. Shambu organised accommodation in Bamboo and also organised horses for the second day! We trekked to Lama Hotel and went on horse back the rest of day 2. Day 3 was a relatively easy trek to Kyanjin Gompa. However, instead of trekking back the next day and then spend a day on a bus we decided to stay an extra night and charter a helicopter directly back to Kathmandu! Shambu’s organisational skills got a good price for us! The porter Suka did a great job of lugging all that luggage - most of which we didn’t need because the weather was sunny and warm every day. We are sure Suka and Shambu we pleased to come with us in the helicopter! The hotels and food were all excellent. Whilst most trekkers reading this will not require horses and helicopters, we highly recommend Shambu, Suka and the manager Kabi at TGTA for your next trek, providing great service at a very reasonable price!

We recently completed the 5-day Annapurna Base Camp trek with Trekking Guide Team Adventure, and it was an amazing experience. From the start, the planning and coordination with Mr. Kabiraj Nepal, the company director, were top-notch. He was super responsive and made sure everything was clear. The company's flexibility was evident throughout the trek. Initially planned as a 6-day trek, we needed to shorten the itinerary by a day, and they accommodated us without hesitation, adjusting our schedule to fit our needs seamlessly. Our guide, Mr. Shambu Basnet, was fantastic. He knew the region inside and out, took great care of us, and was always flexible with the pace, making sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Shambu’s friendly, thoughtful nature really stood out, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Big thanks as well to our porter, Mr. Shugom Basnet a.k.a. jam-jam boy, who was incredibly helpful and always smiling. He made the trek that much more enjoyable with his positive attitude and strong work ethic. We highly recommend Trekking Guide Team Adventure for anyone looking to trek in the Himalayas. They’re a great team, and Shambu and Shugom are truly outstanding!

Our friendly tour guide Shambu picked us up from the airport and drove us to our first stay in Kathmandu. The next morning, we met with organiser kabi and went through the whole itinerary and answered all the questions. We couldn't ask for a better guide. Shambu was just great.He was very knowledgeable and super friendly . Same goes for our porter Sippi. Shambu went out of his way to accommodate our needs. It was such a nice experience going trekking to Annapurna base camp with Trekking guide team adventure. We have Deepak as our trekking guide and CP as our porter. They ensured that we are comfortable and enjoyable along the trip. They are fluent in English, and we are introduced to many local knowledge by them. Deepak arranged and customized our everyday plan according to our physical situation, and we successfully finished our first Nepal trek. The view along the trek was marvelous, not to say that we were lucky to have a glance at all the snow mountain peaks upon on the ABC camp. The manager owner was so helpful before the tour, and respond quickly to my questions. Our arrival at Kathmandu experienced some twists and turns due to the mass delay, but the agency owner stayed up late to replied to us, and waited early at the airport upon our arrival. I feel grateful for his well-considered serve. I highly recommend Trekking Guide Team Adventure! Don't hesitate to go and see the view around Himalaya mountain areas.

Our experience with trekking guide adventures was great. We catered to at every step of our journey, but our wonderful guide Shambu also gave us freedom and space to set our own pace and style. Shambu was knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts about the region as we trekked and settled into the tea houses each night to enrich our experience. Our porter Gopal was friendly, fast and reliable with our belongings, we never had any doubt or issues. Together Shambu and Gopal worked well as a team to assist us getting from A to B every day. Be prepared to take photos, photos, photos! There’s so many beautiful spots and our guide was always keen to make sure we captured the moment. Every location we stayed in was great. We were able to pick new locations to stay for the night when we were ahead of schedule and were always able to find space. The staff were all lovely, food was yummy and facilities clean. We are two fit, young females who completed all the activities available. Consider the activities and pace that is right for you! The porter and guide will be able to adjust accordingly.
