A group of us recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Mosaic Adventure, and wow, what a truly unforgettable experience it was! The scenery is breathtaking and although challenging, anyone with a relatively good fitness base can do it! I can highly recommend Mosaic Adventure based on our awesome experience with them! The booking and payment process was seamless. Madhav was efficient and prompt in his communications, and answered all questions prior to our arrival with great patience and care. Mosaic provided detailed itineraries and their website had a ton of incredibly helpful tips and information to help prepare us for the trip. Our guides Ramesh and Nema were outstanding. Professional, knowledgeable, and so incredibly supportive. They lead our group with positivity, kindness and patience. Every day they wore huge smiles on their faces and nothing was ever too much to ask of them, it was clear that being helpful and attentive to us was their main priority, on top of making sure that we were always comfortable and enjoying our experience. Our safety within altitude was of utmost importance to our guides and they conducted oximeter checks every evening to ensure that we were all ok. Being local, their expertise and passion for the Khumbhu region also made every day special, and incredibly interesting. The porters were also exceptional, so friendly and they took great care in getting our gear from one place to another. The itinerary was well-balanced, allowing for good acclimatization and enough time to take in the stunning scenery. The accommodations chosen by Mosaic were very comfortable - they all exceeded our expectations! We were able to enjoy warm cappuccinos and delicious food all the way up to Gorakshep and back. Our guides also went out their way to personally carry fresh fruit with them along the trek just so that we could enjoy a healthy fruit platter after every dinner - this was such a nice touch and a gesture that other tour operators weren't doing for their guests. They also spoilt us with biscuits for our afternoon tea, and surprised us with the occasional snicker bar after a long day. Great care was taken for us to have the most enjoyable experience possible. On the way back from EBC we hit Monsoon weather and got stuck in at Lukla airport for an extra day, we couldn't get to Khatmandu and were very scared to miss our international flights home. Luckily, and with great thanks to Mosaic, that didn't happen - but if we didn't have Mosaic as a tour operator, we would have been stuck at Lukla for much longer. Their efficiency in times of trouble and uncertainty was when Mosaic really shined - kind and assuring smiles remained on our guides faces, and Mosaics connections with the airlines at Lukla airport help us get priority flights out of there. If your thinking of doing EBC on your own, please think again, we couldn't have navigated the delay at Lukla airport without the assistance from Mosaic. Overall, I can’t recommend Mosaic Adventure enough and I can’t wait to book my next trek with them! Enjoy and Namste!

Just completed a four-day trek to Poon Hill in the Annapurna mountain area. Had a great time. Our guide, Pralhad, was a pleasure to trek with. He was extraordinary attentive and takes his charge as guide very seriously. He kept his finger on the pulse the whole time and made a potentially nerve-wracking adventure totally stress-free. The hikes were hard but doable and we enjoyed many conversations about history and local cultures. Met a lot of other fellow trekkers and made new friends. Highly recommend.

Patient, kind and helpful. They are amazing people who we came to love. The day tour we did around Khatmandu was awesome and our guide for the day Kessar was knowledgeable and made the day tour fun. Excellent value for money and they go the extra mile. Capable, caring and patient staff. Our guides Ramesh and Nima were fantastic. We could not have done it without them as the Everest Base Camp Trek is not for sissies and can get tough at times, but they helped me succeed and made it unforgettable for me. From prior to booking until the end of the trip Madhav was amazingly prompt and helpful from all of our questions, to the booking and slight changes to the itinerary and the resulting trip was truely a great experience. Our guide Purna and Porter Ram were both fantastic and every little challenge was taken care of seamlessly due to their excellent knowledge and experience. They constantly looked after us from morning to night and went over and above especially in some tricky situations during the poor weather. We did the Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes trek which was an amazing and challenging life experience living at altitude for several days Purnas advice was crucial in a successful trek and left us in great shape considering the strenuous nature of this tour.Overall I can not recommend Mosaic and it’s staff highly enough and as a local Kathmandu company look no further when planning a hiking tour in Nepal

We did the 16 day EBC and Gokyo Lakes via Cho La Pass treck with Purna as our guide and Ram our Porter. Before that though, it seems like there are hundreds of tour companies to take your booking for EBC we were looking for a company that had meals included, the right itinerary and was located in KTM. From the moment we made contact with Madhav from Mosaic we knew we were onto something good. Madhav, always replied promptly, professionally and nothing was an issue for him to help us. When we arrived in Nepal, we were collected at the airport in a nice 4x4 and met by Madhav at our hotel, he gave us a brief rundown of our trip, made sure we had everything and introduced us to our guide. We borrowed sleeping bags and jackets from Moasic and neither fitted my husband, once again, the Moasic team search for larger sizes and supplied him with no fuss or worry for us. They just got the job done. We had an incredible 16 day tour with Purna, he and our porter Ram were such a professional team, they literally couldn’t do enough for us and waited on us hand and foot. We had some flooding while we were on the mountain and our boys made sure we made it across all crossing safely and as dry as possible. Purna, guided us up the mountain with such care, making sure the pace was right for good acclimatisation, plenty of breaks and reminders to drink water and not 1 headache. Purna, also gave us great insights and information about the Sherpa people and their culture, which was invaluable. We worked as a team and achieved our goals, it was incredible x The food is excellent, you choose anything off the menu and buy your own drinks. Purna is well known on the mountain and knows exactly the right people to talk to to make things happen. We had a trip of a lifetime with “ our boys” and we’re forever grateful for everything they did for us 🙏🙌❤️ We have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful company for your treking holiday. We did the trek to EBC as a group of two. Madhav was very attentive in responding to our questions via email. Our journey was with our guide, Pralhad, and our porter, Simple. Pralhad always ensured we were trekking at a safe pace and that we had the best experience. He always tried to accommodate our needs as much as possible. Despite factors like the weather that can change plans, Pralhad always found the best way to resolve any issues. It was an incredible experience, and I highly recommend it!

Manoj and Maddon were the best guides we could ask for! The whole trip was organised very well to ensure we would have the best experience. We spent 12 days trekking and it was an unforgettable experience. My trek was incredibly rewarding, it was filled with incredible views of the mountains, some out-of-breath moments and lots of fun! Since it was my first time trekking, the lovely guides ensured we had everything we needed and were comfortable at all times: food, water, taking rests, tea houses etc. I highly recommend this trek with Mosaic Adventure, it was truly the adventure of a lifetime!

I did the EBC trek with 16 students from my uni under the guidance of our amazing guides Madan and Manoj from Mosaic adventures.

Our hike to Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Ri, and Chola pass with Mosaic was an excellent experience. Our interaction during booking was outstanding. We received prompt and very detailed responses from Mr. Madhav. The payment and processing went extremely smoothly. When we arrived at Kathmandu, we were welcomed by Mr. Madhav and our guide, Mr. Ramesh. Once again, the eye to details about the itinerary, and expectations was just right. This is critical on a high altitude trek and Mosaic really cares. On the hike Mr. Ramesh, with many years of experience, was an asset as were the porters he had engaged. Each of them in their own way made our hike memorable in a positive way. They were all willing to share information about locations, local traditions and customs, deatils o fthe day's hike, and most importantly, were always there for health, safety and wellbeing. The tea houses booked, the food etc. were exactly what we required. The hike was challenging but because of the Mosaic and its people we enjoyed every bit of it and completed it successfully. A big Thank You. I would go with Mosaic for other hikes in the future. Very highly recommend.

Manoj was a great guide and made this trip memorable. He adjusted our distances per day based on our fitness level and desires. The hike itself is stunning in just 4 days and has some good bird watching too!
