- moniekj2050 contributionsUnforgettable Himalaya expereinceMy daughter and I went on the Manaslu trekking adventure and it was an amazing experience! Rajesh from Nepal Trekking Experts (NTE) recommended to go in November because of the best weather conditions and indeed, we had blue skies each and every day! Rajesh also suggested to welcome four more people to the group, which turned out to be a great idea. We were lucky to meet lovely people! Together with our wonderful guide Lok and porters Kosis, Rames and Tej we formed a small 'Himalaya bubble' and created a strong bonding together. I was the slowest of the group and experienced guide Lok was always behind me, modest but strong and ready to safe me when I would almost fall. The support from Lok and the porters made a big difference! They smiled, served our food, carried our luggage with ease, played card games with us (Lok always won, haha) and took care of us all the time. I love hiking in the Alps or Dolomites, but the Himalaya really is 'next level'! The beautiful views, the variations in landscape, the culture and our group with Lok and porters were wonderful. I think we were very lucky that NTE made this possible. Rajesh was very flexible and happy to adjust plans or make additional reservations upon request. We can highly recommend NTE. Now that we are back home, our thought are in the Himalaya all the time. We miss Nepal and will come back!Written December 5, 2024
- 487agep0 contributionsManaslu Upper Route Circuit Trek with Nepal Trekking Experts – a splendid adventure! This autumn, we had a most rewarding trekking experience with the Nepal Trekking Experts when our group of 12 trekkers from Estonia completed the Manaslu Upper Route Circuit Trek. We were delighted with the professional service and care provided by the Nepal Trekking Experts, with Rajesh Neupane in the lead. The trip was well planned with all the details in place, and communication throughout the preparation phase was smooth and effective. Rajesh has a very good sense of people and the emotional capacity to prepare the trekkers for the strenuous trip and provide the necessary support, making it a memorable, successful, and rewarding experience. A crucial element for that was a group meeting in his Kathmandu office a day before we headed out on the trek. Nepal Trekking Experts took care of the whole itinerary with full accommodation and transport services, required documentation and permits, licensed trekking guides, porters with complimentary duffel bags, detailed advice on the necessary gear/equipment, ensuring meals during the trek (including travel days), a welcome dinner in Kathmandu, and finally, a certificate once the trek was completed. Furthermore, Rajesh gave clear advice on the necessary insurance coverage and was well prepared to provide full support from the office should anyone from the group require rescue or medical services during the trek. This was enabled not only by well-prepared documentation but also by well-functional communication between the trekking guides and Rajesh, if needed and as much as telecom services allowed it in the remote mountain area. Also, keeping to the agreed time worked very well with Rajesh and his team. Next to Rajesh, two other persons from Nepal Trekking Experts were absolutely crucial for the success of the trek – our phenomenal trekking guides Basanta Devkota and Santosh Lamichhane. We were amazed by their professional approach, warm personalities, great sense of humour, and ability to consistently keep up the mood and take care of any issues with a calm and firm attitude. During walking, Santosh led the way and kept optimal pace while Basanta, the lead guide, stayed at the end of the group and kept it together. Basanta took excellent care of all key arrangements and decision-making during the trek. With his advanced English skills and broad knowledge base, he was also a perfect guide to Nepali culture and religion, nature and society. As an additional activity during the trek, he helped to arrange a couple of folk music and dance performances by local ethnic groups, both Nepali and Bothe (the latter being close to Tibetan people). Also, on radial days, our guides surprised us by preparing delicious soup in a Buddhist monastery or arranging porters to come meet us with warm food and hot tea after we had descended from a 5000m Ruy La pass to the Tibetan border. Saying this, I also want to praise our porters Teg Thapa, Bhupendra, Ramsh, and Kosis, who took good care of our luggage and, on several days, came to meet us during the last part of the trek to carry the backpacks of some of our group members. The local trekking team became more than just guides or porters to us. Another person to bring out is Rabin Neupane, Rajesh’s brother, who welcomed us at the airport on arrival and arranged the welcome dinner in Kathmandu. As Rabin and Santosh had been the guide and porter, respectively, of another Estonian group on the Manaslu trek a couple of years ago, from whom we had received the recommendation to approach Nepal Trekking Experts, this raised many nice associations and closed the loop between the two groups. All in all, passing the Manaslu Upper Route Circuit Trek was a lifetime experience, and I am very happy to have experienced it with the help of Rajesh, Basanta, and Santosh. Kudos! Nepal Trekking Experts deserve a full recommendation from our whole group for anyone interested in trekking in Nepal. Age, on behalf of Estonian trekkersWritten December 5, 2024
- dolpocaravantreks0 contributions17 Days Manaslu Circuit TrekThe Manaslu Circuit Trek is a hidden gem for those seeking adventure and cultural immersion in Nepal. The trail offers breathtaking scenery, from lush forests to towering snow-capped peaks, with the view from Larkya La Pass at 5150m being a standout highlight. Passing through authentic villages like Samagaon, trekkers get a glimpse of Tibetan-influenced culture and local traditions. Unlike the crowded Annapurna or Everest circuits, Manaslu feels remote and tranquil, perfect for solitude seekers. Accommodations in tea houses are basic but cozy, and Dal Bhat is a must-try for its energy-boosting properties. However, some days, particularly the Larkya Pass crossing, can be challenging due to the altitude and long hours of trekking. Facilities are limited, with hot showers and Wi-Fi being rare at higher altitudes. The trek requires special permits, which adds to the cost and logistics. Weather conditions can be unpredictable, so it’s best to plan for March-May or September-December for the most favorable trekking experience. If you’re looking for more incredible trekking options, the Dolpo Caravan Treks and Expeditions offer unique experiences in the remote and pristine Dolpo region. Known for its unspoiled beauty and rich cultural heritage, Dolpo treks take you into an extraordinary world of high passes, turquoise lakes, and ancient monasteries. Learn more about these adventures at Dolpo Caravan Treks and Expeditions. For a detailed itinerary and to plan your 17-day journey through the Manaslu Circuit, visit Manaslu Circuit Trek. Both treks promise unforgettable experiences for adventurers seeking the road less traveled.Written December 4, 2024
- barcaranger0 contributionsWorld Class Trip to Nar PhuI have been trekking many times with Nepal Trekking Experts and even with the same guide Prakash and Porter Thakur. Rajesh the owner knows what I want things like my own room and if possible an attached toilet as I get older. This Trek is not a well known trek and is quite remote despite being just of the main Annapurna circuit. We travelled by private jeep from Kathmandu to our start point Jagat but despite the terrible road conditions after the floods we made good time and made it in 8 Hours. The next two days were on the main circuit first to Dharapani then onto Koto . The main circuit was very busy but not as busy as the Khumbu this time of year. After we left and headed on the two day trip up to Meta there was zero WiFi and only occasional mains electricity and part from a few climbers coming down from Himlung a 7200m peak we saw almost know tourists. The next two days up to Phu were incredible scenery and accommodation was rustic to say the least. Phu is stunningly beautiful. I knew I had only one huge day in me so we skipped Himlung Base camp at 20km acclimatisation day so we headed straight down to Nar Phedi and the night in possibly the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed the Monastry there. The weather looked like there was going to be snow so a tough day took us up to Nar…the most beautiful village in Nepal where we laughed and had a great day at a local festival. The next day was the Kang La about 1000m up followed by 1700 down in Ngawal. Going up was very very hard at over 5300m the air was thin. We saw 2 retired US soldiers and one German on his 35 th day of trekking plus locals and guides that day. Up was so hard coming down on a moving scree face was worst. It took me 10 hours not as long as the Larkye but conditions were far better. One night in Ngawal then down to Beshihar and onto Pokhara by private jeep and car This was my best of many treks in Nepal. Amazing conditions, no one there , best views. My guide Prakash sometimes was my son sometimes my father when I needed geeing up. I have complete trust in his judgement my Porter Thakur should be a guide he is a lovely caring person who looked after me when I really needed it. Rajesh runs a world class operation and after Nar Phu he organised as my trip to Lumbini and onwards to Kathmandu. I’ve been so many times with these guys they are like family and I know all my friends who have gone with them have been so happy. So next year go to Nar Phu before they build a road and go with the best outfit in Nepal. 100/100. Most important thing is you can trust them and they can completely tailor a trip to just how you want it .Written December 4, 2024
- A7917DAgregm0 contributionsTrek of a LifetimeNepal Trekking Experts was recommended by a co-worker and I have to say was a seamless experience from the first point of contact. A very professional company that thrives on customer service. With Rajesh at the helm, you tell him what you need and he takes care of it in a timely manner. Accommodation's in Kathmandu were excellent, the EBC trek was amazing, and my guide Chandra was second to none. Chandra took care of all the details on the trek such as making sure I took enough breaks and water, to accommodations and meals at the teahouses. On the last day of the trek we were crossing a suspension bridge and my guide looked behind us and there was a runaway donkey and he yelled run. We managed to get off the suspension bridge just in time before the donkey roared through with the handler racing to catch up. Chandra was simply invaluable. For the second half of this adventure I spent a few days in Chitwan National Park experiencing a jungle environment which was amazing as well, again organized by Rajesh and another flawless experience. I can't thank Rajesh and the team enough for such a great adventure.Written December 3, 2024
- 91dorish0 contributionsTsum Valley/Manaslu Circuit TrekMy husband and I really really enjoyed this experience. Our son had completed this trek, with the same company, and the same guide, Lok, in October 2023, and had highly recommended it to us. Rajeet, the owner of the company, grew up in the Manaslu area, and was a porter and then a guide before forming his trekking company. He knows trekking from the ground up! He always responded almost instantly to any of our queries despite the Canada/Nepal time difference. His website is excellent , provides all the information required, and makes it very easy to book the trip. Once booked, absolutely everything was taken care of from that point onward , and the trip proceeded exactly as planned. Rajeet went above and beyond to provide an excellent experience. Lok, our guide, spoke excellent English, and carefully, corteously, and considerately, looked after us. He has 27 years of experience as a guide, has done every trek multiple times , and knew the trail on this trek intimately. He knew which tea houses provided the best food, and , once he knew that we liked the quieter ones with less people, also made sure to book ahead and obtain a corner room on the top floor for us. He was an interesting and intelligent conversationalist and knew an incredible amount about his country. I wasn’t always comfortable with the narrow trails on landslides or with steep rocky descents, and he was always right there at those times, with his hand unobtrusively on my backpack, to provide assistance should I slip or fall. Thankfully, I never did, but I am very confident that he would have been right there to help. When the trail was easier, he answered our many questions, or quietly let us enjoy the incredible scenery. He made sure that we enjoyed every day, and tailored the experience to our needs and our ability . Our porter was always smiling, made carrying his load look easy, and was always ready to assist us if required. The trek itself was stunning with the Tsum Valley providing amazing scenery and trails and an immersive cultural experience with Buddhist temples and shrines around almost every corner. The local people were friendly and polite, and the Dal Bhat and tea were always delicious. We loved the trek so much that we are plan to return next October to do the Kanchenjunga trek , with Raj and his company taking care of all the organizing, and requesting Lok to be our guide again.Written December 1, 2024
- Steve P0 contributionsNepal Trekking Experts ..... spectacular experienceWe chose Nepal Trekking Experts based on my son's experience the previous year. It was an exceptional trip. All of our questions were dealt with extremely quickly and we felt very secure in the care of our guide. The guide knew the trail almost to the meter as he assisted us across stream crossings and landslide areas. We had numerous examples of how he would be at exactly the right spot to assist us or direct us among the multitude of paths then step back as we surveyed what must be some of the most incredible trekking on earth. We have backpacked extensively and this is a special place and the Tsum Valley is the most magical place I have ever been! I give 5 stars because I can not give 6.... we are definitely returning again next year. I recommend hiking boots and poles but you do not have to be in exception shape and the average age of our fellow hikers was probably 60....Do itWritten December 1, 2024
- Linda_Zou0 contributionsKhopra trek - great booking experience but concerns about safetyA friend and I completed the Khopra Danda trek in November. Although we enjoyed the hike, we had some concerns about safety and decided to cut the trek short. First, the positive highlights of the trip. The scenery was beautiful. Even when visibility wasn’t great, the constant changes in landscape made it a very pleasant hike. The culminating view at Poon Hill was breathtaking. Gakul, our porter, went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. He was always positive, had a can-do attitude, and had an intuition for what we needed even before we voiced it. We were in awe of his work ethic and commitment to the job. Lastly, Rajesh, the owner, was an excellent host, super responsive, and made our booking experience seamless. Now, onto the less positive parts of the experience. Our guide was friendly but he came across as very inexperienced. After our experience with altitude illness at 3600m, we lost confidence in his ability to take safe care of us. A few examples: 1. On the trails, our guide often went ahead of us, to a point where we couldn’t see him. Sometimes when there was a divergence in the road, we didn’t know which way to go. On the day we went up to above 3000m, my friend who hiked behind the group didn’t see him for 20 minutes. (He seemed to have a rough time getting himself to the top that day and just left my friend behind.) Then, on the last day, my friend slipped and fell. It was the guide in the group behind us that told him that she had fallen. All the other guides we saw on the trip stayed close to their clients. We gave feedback again and again to tell him to stay near us but he would reluctantly stay within viewing distance for a bit, but then run ahead again. 2. On the day we went up to Khopra (4 hour day hike), our guide went up without water and a first aid kit. This meant that if anything has happened, he would be unprepared to deal with the situation. And if he needed water, we would need to share ours. This is irresponsible. 3. On the day I got altitude sickness, our guide looked completely alarmed and didn’t know what to do. He asked our porter and the other guides in the teahouse what to do. He couldn’t give clear guidance so I ended up self medicating using Google as a guide. If my altitude sickness advanced, he would not know what to do. 4. Then my friend started not feeling well due to altitude. She told him clearly multiple times that we wanted to descend, he continued to push for us to go up the mountain. Altitude sickness can be life-threatening, and it was irresponsible for him to push for our itinerary despite the health risk that it might impose. 5. Our guide had never done the trek before. There was at one point he gave us the wrong itinerary and our porter had to correct him. He told us a 3.5 hour hike was 6 hours. When we went up to Khopra, he said it was only slightly up and then we walk along the ridge, but it was actually a 2.5 hour hike up. We started double checking the route and safety conditions with other guides. 6. He did not know how to pace the hikes. We believe the main reason we got altitude sickness was because we went up incredibly fast and did not have enough time to acclimatise. The other groups started off early and went slowly but we ended up squeezing our hikes into a short duration. On another occasion, we were going slowly at our pace (to manage altitude sickness) but then it started getting dark. It was only after we asked if we were going to slowly that we picked up the pace. There was no thought on how to pace, which is dangerous in a high altitude setting. 7. Our guide spent a lot of time taking photos along the trail — of waterfalls, scenery, chickens, market stalls. Often we would not see him for awhile only to come across him taking a photo. Sometimes it felt like he was on holiday himself. We voiced these concerns to Rajesh. He was very receptive to the feedback and said he is committed to taking remedial action. However, we wanted to share our experience to ensure other trekkers know what questions to ask to ensure that they have a safe, enjoyable trip.Written December 1, 2024
- YolandeDuco0 contributionsKanchnejunga trek, complete wilderness, incredible viewsKanchenjunga trek: For the second time we chose Nepal trekking experts for our trek in Nepal. Last year Neal trekking experts organized Tsum-Manaslu for us. This year Kanchenjunga. Rajesh organized both treks very well. He always responded quickly to emails, is very friendly and helpful. Rajesh had everything covered from the beginning until the end of both our treks. Nepal trekking experts is a very reliable trekking organization with dedicated people. Upon our request we had for the second time Gautam Neupane as our guide. He is cheerful. He speaks english more than enough. Gautam took very good care of us. He made us feel safe. Gautam always tried to make sure that everything was well arranged for us; bed, food, warmth. He even made it possible that we were able to visit a school during our trek. Gautam has become a friend of us. Kanchenjunga is incredible!! Very remote, without all the tourists of the more well known treks, it gives an authentic experience, which made unforgettable impression on us. Thank you Rajesh and Gautam to make this beautiful trek possible for us. Definitively we will choose Nepal trekking experts again next year to organize our next trip and of course we will ask Gautam to be our guide again.Written November 29, 2024
- Megan P0 contributionsGreat company, great guide, great trek!!!We had the best experience with Nepal Trekking Experts. We did the GokyonTrek, which was awesome. Rajesh was so responsive from the very beginning and got back with me so quickly any time I emailed with a question. His responsiveness really helped build trust leading up to the trip. He has everything covered for us from arrival to departure. Our guide for the trip, Chandra, was AMAZING!!! He knew the area so well and went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared and had a great experience. I can not recommend him enough. We hope to return for another trek and want him as our guide again!!Written November 29, 2024
- No130 contributionsExcellent trekking experience with Nepal Trekking Experts and Rabin our guideOur first trek in Nepal, and we could not be happier with our choice of Nepal Trekking Experts. Next to the super impressive Himalayas and specifically the Manasly trek, an important part of the excellent experience is our guide Rabin and Rajesh at the HQ in Kathmandu. We were very happy to have Rabin as our guide. An authentic person and a very experienced and solid guide. Rabin had great stories and insights about the history and politics of Nepal and the region, as well as his great experience with the mountains and the local communities. It added depth and insight into our experience. And Rabin went to his best to get us the best teahouses and hotels and the best rooms along the trek. When we asked for a change of our itinerary near the end of the trek Rabin organized transport to Pokhara seamlessly without effort. Rajesh was on top of everything, hands-on, attention to detail and accommodating. Very friendly and very helpful from the first contact until well after we left the beautiful country and people of Nepal. Thank you very much.Written November 23, 2024
- markzT7169EO0 contributionsNepal Trekking Experts ReviewI just returned from a trek on the Manaslu Circuit arranged by Nepal Trekking Experts. I cannot say enough good things about this tour company. Rajesh was our tour organizer. He was quickly responsive to about 1000 email questions that I posed before the trip. His arrangement of transportation and accommodations was flawless. This included transfers to and from Kathmandu airport, jeep trips to and from the trailhead, as well as prepayment for every overnight stay and basic meals at each tea house. He also arranged accommodations in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Each of these accommodations in Kathmandu, Pokhara and tea houses on the trail was carefully chosen and met a high standard. Our guide, Lok, was everything that you would want in a guide: strong, calm, capable and easy to talk to. He managed all the day to day functions including tea house rooming, daily schedule and support for every facet of the trip in addition to guiding a group of 6 trekkers of varying speeds and strengths safely over 110 miles of wild terrain. He was generous in sharing many aspects of Nepali culture. On top of all that, he was funny and interesting. Our porters were incredibly strong and very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this agency without reservation to anyone thinking about a trek in Nepal. I will certainly use them myself in the future.Written November 21, 2024
- MtnBlu0 contributionsTop-notch ServiceWe had an amazing experience with Nepal Trekking Experts on the Manaslu Circuit with Tsum Valley. Go with locals who really know the area, you won't be disappointed. Rajesh was helpful pre- and post-booking answering our questions. He provided a detailed gear checklist. Seamless airport pickup and lovely hotel for the first two nights in Kathmandu. Arjun is an incredible guide - the best I've had on any trip. He went out of his way to ensure we were happy, safe, and having a meaningful experience. We had nice rooms at teahouses. Arjun always looked for behind-the-scenes opportunities - observing how momos are made and yak butter is packed, going inside locked monasteries, checking out classrooms, talking to locals, providing spicy toppings, teaching us to play karrom, trying on traditional dress, etc. This enhanced the experience and was not typical - we saw many other groups pass by interesting sites and their guides were not engaging with them. We also saw a group ditch their guide midway because he was drunk - you get what you pay for. So glad I was with NTE and Arjun, in particular. It was also great that our porter, Kumar, was part of the team and interacting with us. We did a climb in Nepal with another company - good but not great - underscoring how exceptional NTE is!Written November 21, 2024
- Hadrian60 contributionsAmazing first trek experience in Nepal. Highly recommend this companyThis was our first trek in Nepal, and we could not be happier with our choice of Nepal Trekking Experts Rajesh was extremely patient, understanding, and accommodating as we selected a trek and prepared for it. We chose a more modest trek (Ama Dablam Base Camp) and were very pleased with it. Rabin, our guide, was truly amazing. He shared with us his knowledge and experience with Nepalese society, culture, and politics, as well as his great experience with the mountains and the communities there. When Lukla airport was closed due to bad weather, he expertly guided us down the mountain and worked hard to secure safe travel back to Kathmandu (via the craziest 4 x 4 jeep ride we will likely ever have). We were extremely fortunate to be in the care of such a kind and generous man. We appreciated the complete transparency of travel costs (no surprises) and the timely responses to our communications.Written November 20, 2024

The porters, Ramesh, Tej and Kosis were so kind, helpful and hard-working. Lok always had everything organized and he looked out for everyone, ensuring we were safe and happy. Our group of 6 truly felt like a family. This company plans everything for you! You do not have to worry about anything but the hiking. It was my first time to Nepal and I felt at ease the second I walked out of the airport and met Lok. I will miss this group, but I plan to use Nepal Trekking Experts in the future. Thank you, Rajesh! In November 2023 I trekked for a fabulous month in Nepal with my son, sister and brother from Australia organised and guided by Nepal Trekking Experts. We did the 6 day Annapurna Base Camp Trek as a warm up for the 15 day Manaslu Circuit Trek with a fantastic few days of R & R at Chitwan National Park between treks. Both Treks had stunning scenery and the Nepalese people were as beautiful and friendly as ever. Our Trekking Company, 'Nepal Trekking Experts' were the best company we have ever dealt with on this our third trekking visit to Nepal in the last 8 years. They were extremely professional, customer focussed and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We had a lot of fun and a very memorable experience with the Nepal Trekking Experts Team. A big thanks to Owner Rajesh, Guide Kedar and Porters Ganesh and Kalica. We rate you 10 out of 10.

What an amazing experience we had with Nepal Trekking Experts!
When we were planning for a trekking in Nepal friends advised Rajesh and his team because of their great experience with them. We contacted Rajesh around 3 months before the planned trekking and got almost instant response. Always super friendly and thinking with us about the best options and making great suggestions, we knew we had found the right guy. When we finally arrived in Kathmandu we drank beers with him and discussed the final preparations.
We did the Annapurna circuit with Binod and two porters Gautam and Gokul. We had such a great time with these guys! All funny in their own way and always cheerfull, they were nice company to have around. Binod was always minding our security and was there where needed. My friend had trouble with steep hills , so he was personally guiding him and took over his backpack on steep hills, and when I had altitude problems he was helping me with that every chance. Because we did the pass after a lot of snowfall the trail was hard to track, in the end the other present guides where waiting for Binod and crew to pave the way. Real reliable and fun guys.
After the track, besides arranging transportation to the airport for us, Rajesh even personally brought my friends bag to the airport after he forgot it, what service!
Will definitely come to Nepal again and when I do, will definitively do a trekking with these guys again!

As we decided to do a trekking in Nepal it was not easy for us to find the right trek. The offer in internet is big but the information is not always very clear. Bei the Nepal Trekking Experts Website we were able to gain a good overview of the different Nepal trekkings and we choosed the ABC Trek.
With the choice of the agency and of the trek we hit the bullseye.
Rajesh is very professional, he organised everything for us and made us feel confortable and in good hands from the first moment we arrived in Kathmandu.
The hotels both in Kathmandu and Pokhara had a good standard, were cosy, clean and had a really good athmosphere.
Arjun our guide was very experienced and professional. Everything during the trek run smoothly. Honestly speaking I was a bit worried as tihs was our first trek in Nepal and I did not really know what to expect exactly
Thanks to Arjun I felt save and at ease all the time and I could enjoy every single day of the trek. Both Arjun and Ram, our porter, were always there to help us whenever needed.
We highly reccomend Nepal Trekking Experts
for their professionality, their perfect organisaton and for their talent to make you feel among friends.

Just got back from a wonderful 10 day ABC trek with my wife and 2 children (14 years and 10 years) - Rajesh was amazing with info and support from prior to us booking, right up until we were on the flight back home. The trek itself was also amazing, with guide Arjun and porters Ram and Ganesh providing top class support, and companionship from start to finish, we really couldn't have asked for a better team! We've only been back home a couple of days and are already starting to plan a Gokyo Valley trek for hopefully next year, and will undoubtedly use Nepal Trekking Experts again

I was initially uncertain about doing a trek in Nepal let alone by myself, having been a novice trekker and never traveled alone before, I was looking to attain a unique experience in an adventurous activity and this was definitely the answer. Rajesh and his team were very hospitable and warm towards me. My guide and porter were very experienced and knew the route inside and out. Although there were times the weather wasn't the greatest since I went towards the end of the monsoon season, I always felt safe and felt like they knew what they were doing. The owner Rajesh was also very kind to assist me to purchase last minute trekking gear.
I would recommend using their service!

Nepal Trekking Experts is the most reliable company I've found in Kathmandu! Rajesh will spend as much time as you want helping you sort out all the fine details of the trip. He is also quick to find a solution when problems outside of his control come up. There was bad weather across the country at the end of my trek. All flights out of Pokhara were canceled and people were frantically looking for ways back to Kathmandu. Many people were stuck in Pokhara for days, but Rajesh got me a car back to Kathmandu only a few hours later.
Ganesh was such a great guide! We had a very detailed itinerary, but he was flexible in deviating from it to allow more time at the hot springs. The trek went very smoothly and I really didn't have to worry about anything.
Will be recommending Rajesh and Ganesh to anyone looking to trek in Nepal :)

My friend and I did the Annapurna Base Camp Trek (2 week) tour through Nepal Expert Trekkers and it was amazing!!!! I couldn’t recommend it more.
Rajesh the owner was so friendly and very quick at replying to all our messages prior to the trip. He helped organise lifts to and from the airport, as well as giving us valued information about visas and trekking essentials. It was our first hike so we were very grateful! ☺️
We had a very knowledgeable guide Denish, who was able to give us lots of interesting facts along the hike, whilst giving us briefs each morning before starting the day, he made sure we were well looked after along the whole trip!
We also opted for a porter, Chhwang. He was great so grateful for him I couldn’t have done it without him.
Overall it was an amazing trip with great views and lovely people, I can’t wait to go back and do another trip with Nepal Expert Trekkers.

Rajesh and team were great! Rajesh is very responsive to our enquiries (about the trek, the conditions, gear etc!) and we were also able to customise our itinerary. Before the hike, Rajesh/team met us to brief us about the dos/donts and what to expect for the hike - for our first time in Nepal, this was reassuring.
On the hike, our guide Chandra was knowledgeable - he would proactively tell us about the various mountains that surround us. We learnt much about nepalese culture from him. During sections that we were a little unsure on our footing, he helped us get through them as well. Daily, he would brief us about what to expect for the next day and during the hike, he would stop us at various point to ensure we had enough water and rest.
Our porter Ram was helpful as well - everyday together with Chandra, they would be our point of contact for all matters such as the purchase of charging/ hot water/ meals. Despite the heavy bags, ram would enthusiastically point out sights to us too!
The views at ABC were breathtaking! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our journey and would highly recommend Rajesh and team for your adventures in Nepal.

Best experience ever!! Such a beautiful trek and everyday there was another amazing view to see!
This company is absolutely amazing and couldn’t recommend enough! So well organised and Rajesh is so helpful, knowledgeable, and generous with his time!
We did Annapurna base camp (10 days) and was so so good (very amateur hiker but this was doable!)
Dinesh was our guide and was so amazing!! We had a porter, Chwang who carried our packs and he was also the best!! Couldn’t have done it without either of them and hold them both in the highest praise!
Overall was the most amazing trip and can’t express how much I would recommend this amazing company!
