It’s always difficult to trust someone from another country in advance having to pay a lot of money and also your vacation days. I chose this company because of the google reviews and also a Spanish youtuber who shares his experience and you can see how his trek went. In my case, everything went just fine. The owner is a really kind and attentive person. He is always there for you no matter what the issue is. I chatted a lot via whatsapp with him from Spain. He advised me on my trek (Manaslu circuit) and told me honestly all the pros and cons. He has a fully competent staff that can be adapted to the experience. All arrangements for the trek and also our stay and Kathmandu were coordinated by them. I was traveling with my girlfriend who does not speak English but they did their best to make her to have the best experience possible. They accomplished their goals. In the end it is just a matter of trust to choose a trek agency, and I think this is a trustworthy company. I fully recommend this agency and I personally want to encourage people to do the Manaslu circuit because it is still an authentic experience compared with other treks. Totally worth it!

had a great time. although the trek presents difficulties a time our super guide Ganesh took great care of us. we were lucky to have nice weather and mountain views in the monsoon season. Altogether a fantastic experience.

We, two 25 year old women from Switzerland, did the Kanchenjunga Trek in May 2024 with Ram as our guide and Dhana Hang as our porter. This trek was an allover positive experience and Nepal Trekking Experts was an exceptionally good company! This wonderful hike leads from subtropical forests to the high mountains and is therefore very varied. The division of the stages done by Nepal Trekking Experts and the earlier start of walking compared to other organisers allows you to fully discover and enjoy the diversity of the region. The duration of the individual stages and the acclimatisation days are planned in such a way that the hike is feasible and enjoyable despite its length. It was the first trek in Nepal for both of us, with only one of us having any high mountain experience, and we hadn't done much training beforehand. With a good basic constitution and sure-footedness, the difficulty of the trek was easily manageable - at least at this time of the year with there not being any snow. The organisation by Rajesh was perfect. Everything went smoothly and the communication and cooperation was uncomplicated and courteous. Rajesh's open, friendly and professional manner made you feel that you were in very good hands and with him you always had a competent and helpful contact person even after the trek. Our team on the road was also perfect. Ram, with his open, fun and communicative personality combined with his experience and knowledge, is the perfect guide and made the trek an unforgettable experience. Thanks to him, we were able to really immerse ourselves in the culture and get in contact with the local people as well. Not only did we visit two Buddhist monasteries along the way, but we were also invited to tea and coffee by various locals. Ram also responded competently and supportively to minor problems during our trek. Dhana Hang, our porter, completed our team. With his caring and helpful nature as well as his good local knowledge - he comes from a village in the Kanchenjunga region - he was a great support. At the evening card game rounds he characterised the good mood with his smile. Thanks to the great team from Nepal Trekking Experts, our trip was a wonderful, unforgettable experience and we are already planning our next trekking holiday in Nepal, where we will of course be travelling with Nepal Trekking Experts again!

I did the Manaslu Trek for 20 days in May 2024, and after a week of rest in Pokhara, the Annapurna Base Camp . For both treks I used the company Nepal Trekking Experts, which showed to be a smart choice from my side. Through Rajesh, the company manager who was always available both by Whatsup and also in person in Kathmandu, I could organize my treks with full flexibility, adapting it to my preferences and skills, not only before leaving but also during the treks themselves, according to the weather, the circumstances and my state of energy. I was particularly lucky with my guide Resham, who, in comparison with other guides I met during the treks, did a 24 hours job, was extremely resourceful and went always the extra mile in order to improve the trip experience. Thanks to him I discovered places that were not in the guidebook, I slept in homestays of Gurkha people, sharing their food, and taking me to villages where I could appreciate the life of the Nepali people. Furthermore, while hiking the standard trek, he proposed and anticipated often my preferences on the basis of his knowledge of the region and his observation, after a few days, of my strong and weak points. For example, in the Manaslu trek, after a few days he realized that i was faster than average going up, but that going down I was slower due to my knees, and he adapted the trek so that we would reach the Larkya Pass one day before what was initially calculated, so that I would have an extra day going down. All in all I was very satisfied with Resham and with Nepal Trekking Experts, and I hope to be back next year in Nepal with them.

The trek was amazing. It was very well organized and the tour guide, Lok, was very knowledgeable and was able to adjust to our group. Everything went very smoothly and we were very well taken care of from the moment we landed until we left Nepal. Strongly recommended!

I couldn’t recommend this more to anyone! I was planning on doing my trek without a guide and I’m so glad I didn’t - having a guide and going with trekking experts made all the difference🙏🏼 I needed up with going with one other person and our guide , Basanta, who made the experience so much better! He did everything he could to make sure we had the best experience possible: from teaching us all about the mountains and the history, always making sure we were comfortable and happy, teaching us card games and so much more. His English was incredible and honestly his energy just made the experience so much better! As for the trek itself, the company has created an amazing route where you see all sorts of terrain, you can stop whenever and the views are seriously something you will not see anywhere else. Trekking at the end of the season so wasn't sure what to expect. However Rajesh sorted everything great, and had an amazing time with my guide Basanta. These guys obviously know what they are doing and are looking to the future.

Manasalu plus Tsum valley 21 day hike with guide Thakur Naupane, and porter Santosh. Picking Nepal trekking experts as the company was best decision. With over 1000 companies operating in Nepal, picking Nepal Trekkng experts as random one with decent Trip advisor rating and due to Rakesh Naupane’s persistent and very courteous/ detailed responses to my million questions was well justified. They are not most expensive or cheapest of the tourism companies. They are thorough and their guides and prayers are all very well trained Rajesh matched us with Thakur and Santosh whom we fondly called Thakur ji and Santosh ji ( though we were the oldies). Both of them were very knowledgeable of the area, both are genuinely caring and added benefit, both spoke Hindi along with English and Nepali. Thakur ji was forced to walk super slow due to my uphill battle but never pushed me too much. They informed us ina fb what the day would be like, adjusted itinerary to our request. We added days I. Chiming and chakampaar village. Santosh was always ahead even with our 23kg bag, which is more than recommended weight for porter. They learnt our taste very fast and catered to it. They also explained with reason do’s and dont’s when it came to food. We did not have any stomach issue through out. They took care of leg swelling for Tanveer getting local medicine from health center and Sanchi oil for my cold. Towards the last days of Manasalu hike, we felt severe mountain sickness with headache and dizziness etc, they wisely recommended to descent when return path was going to be much longer. Sending we may need more help, we had to take chopper and between the 3 of them, they arranged for chopper rescue same day and we were back in Kathmandu at blink of an eye . Even though we did not finish the hike of 21 days and cut is short by 4 days, our experience was such that I will be returning to the mountains soon. And I will most definitely be going with Nepal trekking experts again. Oh also, they were known in Al OST every village, specially Thakur N who has been on this trek more than 100 times and it helps to have some one so well acquainted in such remote regions. He knew exactly which tea house to go to for best food and decent accommodation. Most guides and porters on these trails would be good but this pair of Santosh and Thakur were above and beyond our expectations and definitely were second most imp reason for a very enjoyable trip. first place of course goes to the Himalayas. Beauty unparalleled in every which way, manasalu trek is so far most pristine hike I ever done. Nepal has done a very good job keep Manasalu as conservation area and not brought too much tourism attention here. It is one of the places that holds beauty as it was meant to be with no human intervention though slowly they are building roads and soon it may be like Everest base camp or annapoorna. So if one has to pick one and only one hike, for non mountaineers, Manasalu is the one.

My wife (32f) and I (34m) completed the Kanchenjunga North and South Base Camp Circuit trek in April, 2024. We were beyond fortunate to have both Ram as our guide and Dhana as our porter. The entire experience organized by Nepal Trekking Experts exceeded our expectations, and that is an understatement! Let me start with Ram. Ram is a proud Nepalese trekking guide with over 18 treks completed in the Kanchenjunga region. He has formed plenty of relationships with the local people, and his extroverted and personable demeanor made us feel more than comfortable during our 21 days in, many times, quite remote and hard-to-reach areas. Ram always had our well-being his utmost priority, and he always brought a sense of humor and charisma to our daily treks when the going got tough. We were lucky to have him help us reach our goals, and we are glad to say he is now a friend of ours. Dhana was an extraordinary addition to our trekking team. He is a local from Hellok - right in the midst of the Kanchenjunga Conservation area. He also knew the area like the back of his hand, and brought a blue-collar working attitude along with an everyday smile on his face. We imagine many trekkers don't bond with their porters, but Dhana was always around to sometimes spend breakfast and dinner with us, and even teach us some local games or have some drinks in the evening. He also made us feel safe when it came to assisting in some sketchy areas or helping us feel settled and comfortable at the next accommodations. Dhana is a great porter and an even better family man. Lastly, we can't say enough great comments about the NTE management. Rajesh is a highly technical and organized businessman who also has the emotional intelligence to work extraordinarily well with his clients. He was always on top of ensuring our trip was going to be planned smooth beforehand, and he made sure we were taken care of after the trek had concluded with other transport and details. If you're looking for a trekking company that has their stuff together, you will be in great hands with NTE. We are excited to work with NTE again on future treks and can strongly recommend them to any family, friends, or other trekkers looking for top-notch, quality service. This team knows what they're doing and are highly professional in every sense of the word.

My son and I did the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Nepal Trekking Experts between 19 April and 5 May 2024. It was a trip for my son's 30th birthday so it was important to us that it was special. Rajesh and his team definitely exceeded our expectation and I highly recommend this Trekking company!!! From the very first email of enquiry Rajesh was helpful, friendly and efficient. We contacted a few trekking companies but after our video chats with them we knew that Rajesh was the person we wanted to deal with. He is an excellent communicator, answering all our questions and helping us to make sure we were getting the experience we wanted and that we were well prepared for our trek. Once we got to Nepal we discovered that his whole team were just as fabulous as him! From the wonderful welcome at our airport pick up with Rabin, to the moment we were delivered back to the airport at the end of our trip, we were thrilled with every aspect of Nepal Trekking Experts service. The Manaslu Circuit is a beautiful trek that just keeps delivering breathtaking views day after day. Our guide, Sandesh, was friendly and helpful and our sherper, Ramesh, was an absolute champion! After a few days on our trek, Sandesh hurt his foot and could not continue but, Rajesh sorted out a new guide and made sure that we were happy immediately. Santosh arrived to rescue us and we lost no time at all! He was a wonderful guide, making sure that we had the best experience possible. We loved trekking with him and he was always ready for anything we requested! He had an awesome sense of humour and had just the right balance of being an excellent guide while still giving us space to be quiet and peaceful in the mountains on our own. I would highly recommend requesting him as your guide! My son and I are forever grateful to Rajesh, Santosh, Ramesh and the Nepal Trekking Experts team for making this special journey so incredibly awesome and memorable for us. We had a wonderful time hiking the Manaslu Circuit Trek organized by Nepal Trekking experts. Everything went very smooth, from the welcoming at the airport to the departure. Our guide Arjun was the best guide we could hope for. He made our trekking unforgettable: taking care of us, helping us whenever we needed it, introducing us to local culture and people, having nice conversations about all different topics. I have used Rajesh and his brother a few times and this time they have surpassed themselves. I was given a porter/guide called Dilli. I have never been with anone who could see more wildlife. I used to work in Kenya on safaris and wish I had him with me. He found a Snow Leopard and cub trying to catch Marmots. It was like watching a hysterical show. The cub was thrilled to have these Marmots to play with. Suffice to say mum was not best pleased. Tsum Valley was the highlight for me. I have asked for Dilli for my next trip if possible. We were together 18 days and I missed him at departure. Rajesh and his brother were available 24/7 in case of issues, we never needed them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to you all!

We did the Short Poon Hill Trek and it was excellent. The views of Annapurna South and Dhaulagiri from the top of Poon Hill were incredible. We got lucky to have good weather on the day of the Poon Hill hike. Prakash was an amazing guide and Padam and Chhwang were amazing porters. They taught us the Dumbal card game from Nepal and we played that a lot in the evenings. Rajesh was also very responsive and helpful before the trek started. Will definitely choose this company if I go back to Nepal for another trek.
