- B3800OCrachaelr0 contributionsBeautiful unforgettable experienceWe were taken care of the entire trip, from the airport, through the mountains, and back to the airport to go home. Dorji, our guide and Karma, our porter took care of us and made us feel safe throughout our time in Nepal. The company took care of everything so we could easily enjoy our experience on the treck. Manaslu treck was beautiful every day with so many food options. June was a beautiful time to go with green mountains and lots of wildflowers. I highly recommend Nepal Guides Trecks and Expeditions!Written July 17, 2024
- I5330YCbrians0 contributionsClimbing Manaslu with Nepal Guide TreksWhen I reflect on my personal experience of the Manaslu expedition with the Peak Climbing Nepal family, I feel gratitude for the dedication, support, and expertise of the expedition crew. The weather on the seventh day of our trekking journey while descending from the Larkya La Pass was not on the favorable side. It was early November, and an unexpected snowstorm presented an obstacle during the high mountain pass crossing. Nevertheless, with the steadfast support of the Nepal Guide Treks and expedition team, we navigated down to the Dharmasala village and stayed safe in teahouses during the adverse climatic conditions. This proved that the team was adept at adjusting itinerary plans in case of weather adversity. If you are seeking an unparalleled Himalayan adventure experience, I would like to recommend Nepal Guide treks. Their knowledge, support, and commitment to their clients in delivering an easy, seamless, and hassle-free journey from start to finish is truly remarkable.Written July 9, 2024
- Alextsai20180 contributionsGreat Experience - Island PeakAlthough we are not pro mountaineers me and my friend do love scaling semi-technical peaks every now and then. As Island Peak is the most popular trekking peak i.e., practice in the Eastern Himalayan region of Nepal, we always felt like giving the climbing expedition a go. We had already climbed both Mera Peak and Mardi Himal with Nepal Guide Treks and obviously it was without a doubt going to be our mediator for the this adventure as well. We had already climbed with Ngawang Thile Sherpa during our Mera Peak climbing and we were glad to get an opportunity to work with him again. Needless to say, the journey was exception, climbing the peak that 1953 expedition used for their first-ever ascent to the highest peak on the planet, Mt. Everest hit us with a different vibe, after completing the climbing it felt like we were part of that great history now. Nepal Guide Trek’s team as always does an exceptional job to take care of their guests and Ngawang, thanks for helping us create wonderful memories, this certainly will be a tearful and heartful memory lane.Written April 29, 2024
- Traveler652808048970 contributionsPerfect mountaineering in Everest regionThe trip was perfectly organized from day one till my departure from Kathmandu. Mr Prakash was handling things perfectly from Kathmandu. Climbing guide Sunil Sherpa did a perfect job, was attentive to every requirement, very safe minded in the mountains and just a nice person to spend 3 weeks in his company. I highly recommend Nepal Guide Treks company and Mr Sunil Sherpa especially. I have no reason to choose any other company on my next visit to Nepal.Written April 18, 2024
- robert91870 contributionsA journey to rememberI’m really glad for the amazing experience I had in the Annapurna region of Nepal. I decided to spend my vacation after one of my friends recommended Annapurna Circuit Trek. I researched a lot about this region, and just the glimpses of mountains I scrolled through online pages were able to pull me toward it. I still remember those nostalgic days of trekking for about two weeks to the Annapurna region. With NepalGuideTreks as my trekking agent, I had an incredible experience on the Annapurna Circuit trek. It was a wonderful experience to witness the astounding beauty of the Himalayas and explore traditional Himalayan culture. The journey was a blend of thrilling and fun activities. I get to see the magical glimpses of the Annapurna range and surrounding mountains like Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Tukuche, Ganga Purna, Machapuchhre, and many more. Along the way, I went through numerous sweeping suspension bridges, crossed over thundering rivers, and witnessed majestic waterfalls and snowy landscapes and with proper services from NepalGuideTrek, my trek was enjoyable. After I landed in Nepal, I met Mr. Prakash, who gave me insights into the overview of the trek and also handed me safety measures for the trek. The trek to the Annapurna was successful through the properly executed itinerary of the NepaGuideTreks and with immense contributions by the experienced guides of NepalGuideTreks. In addition to putting my safety first, their careful planning took care of my adventure smoothly, and I had a once-in-a-lifetime experience in the Annapurna region.Written April 8, 2024
- 11alora0 contributions"Conquering the Roof of the World: A Journey to Everest Base Camp"Everest Base Camp Trek: My top vacation destination to visit is Nepal. It holds innumerable beautiful sights and presents you with a wonderful experience. Out of all the places I have gone, Everest Base Camp Trekking seizes my attention every time. It's still not enough in relishing those wonderful memories I created during my trek to Everest Base Camp. My trek to EBC was outstanding as the trek took me closer to the tallest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest. This trek offers me a great insight into the Himalayan lifestyle and the Himalayan beauty. The stunning landscapes, mountainous range, glaciers and lakes along the way, distinct Himalayan culture, and warm hospitality made my trek to Everest Base Camp memorable. One of my friend recommended me Mr. Prakash from Nepal Guide Treks. Indeed, with excellent service from the company and the team. Thanks to my guide Krishna and porter Ram, I successfully completed my trek at ease with safety and gained a sense of achievement within. I’m proud I chose Everest Base Camp for trek and Nepal Guide Treks as my trekking agent. Without their experiences and exceptional services, this trip wouldn’t be as fun as it had been. To all those who are planning their trek to the high Himalayan region in Nepal. you can heedlessly trust them for your trekking partner.Written March 28, 2024
- avishekc20240 contributionsA journey of a lifetimeThe trip to Manaslu was an enjoyable journey, and felt like my dream came true. I always wanted to go for a trek to the Himalayan region and explore the Himalayan lifestyle. This dream of mine was fulfilled through Nepal Guide Treks with proper execution. It was an epic and daring adventure to the lap of the Himalayas, enrolled with innumerable captivating sights on the way. With all the valid safety tips and an experienced guide, my trip was successful and vibrant. I could never ask for more at the exact moment when I was blessed by the 8th tallest mountain, Mt. Manaslu. Along the journey, the trails were kind of challenging, but my attention wasn’t even diverted as the stunning mountainous landscapes kept me occupied the whole time. Gushing Waterfalls, Soaring Rivers, Breathtaking Glaciers, Rhododendron forests and natural habitat made my days in the Manaslu region mesmerizing. Besides just the majestic views of the mountains, my trek was magnified by the quality of services provided. The trip was memorable, and still, today, I relish those memories of trekking to Mt. Manaslu alongside an experienced guide. With excellent service and safety from Nepal Guide Treks, this journey was victorious. Its about time for me to stop relishing the memories created and instead go for creating another one, which is why I’m deciding for my next trek to Mt. Annapurna through Nepal Guide Treks.Written March 25, 2024
- markaS105WL0 contributionsMardi Trek in WinterOn landing in Kathmandu Airport, my guide picked me up and transferred me to my hotel. The next day met Prakash at his office with my guide. Prakash explained all the information I needed with safety tips. Mardi Trek is an awe-inspiring journey through an unspoiled winter wonderland. Despite challenges, the trek offers a unique experience of exploring the Himalayas in a serene and unfiltered state. With spirit high, I began trekking with each step on snowy surfaces crunched beneath my sturdy trekking boots. The Himalayan landscape was draped in pristine white. Although the crisp air passed my cheeks, the aspiration of forthcoming adventure kept my heart warm. With every bit of ascent, Himalayan vistas were manifested closer and against the azure sky. On the other hand, the biting cold tested my resolve with high altitude, adding difficulty to each ascent. Reaching Mardi Himal Base Camp, surrounded by snow-covered peaks, left me in awe. The Mardi Himal Trek in winter indicated the raw and untamed beauty of the Himalayas.Written February 19, 2024
- 448hannahl0 contributionsDishonest company with a lot of hidden feesI did the 3-peaks climb; Mera, Island peak and Lobuche in October/November 2023. My original plan was just to do the Mera and Island peak alone. The day of arrival, the manager informed me that the Amphu Lapcha pass, between Mera peak and Island, was closed (this information was known way long before, but they “failed” to inform me) and convinced my to do the EBC, Lobuche peak combined climbing the Pharchamo peak. This is not what I wanted, but felt that there were no other options and I had to make the decision on the spot. I wasn’t comfortable with the decision due to no previous climbing experience (Pharchamo peak is the 7th most technically advanced mountain in Nepal) but I managed to alter my earlier itinerary and combine it with the Lobuche peak. Asking for a refund, as this trip was 200 dollars cheaper, they refused by saying that they had already prepared and organized the whole trip (this alteration was made in 24hours…) This is just a lie, as alterations are made constantly along the journey. Also as a “compensation”, I could just withdraw the sum from the tips to the guide/porter (the workers barely receive any money from the company itself). This is just insane! There is also a lot of misinformation on the website. It says that you fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (and return). The reality is that you take a 14-hours jeep ride (if the airspace is closed down from Ramechhap). Also there are a lot of additional costs that they don’t inform you about. Renting climbing equipment can cost up to 200 dollars… On the website they’ll inform you that alcoholic beverages are not included. What’s actually not included is ANY liquid of any kind! They charge you a lot of money even for a bottle of hot water. (Scrutinizing the website, this very important information is extremely well-hidden inside the text, for some reason…) I was out on the track for nearly 4 weeks and did three peaks, and it’s crucial to know the amount of cash to bring, as it can end up being extremely costly! All together I feel like this company deliberately withheld a lot of important information, pretending to come around as a decent local alternative, when in actuality, overcharging and cheating their clients. Be aware, and please choose something else! Hannah Lindgren Solo hiker from SwedenWritten January 14, 2024
- Jplana20 contributionsAmazing Everest Base Camp trek with Nepal Guide Treks and ExpeditionSince 25 september to 11 october, my wife and I did EBB trekking in a memorable experience arranged by help of Nepal Guide Treks ans Expediention. It was our second time that we trust in Mr. Prakash and his team for travel to Nepal (previous, october 2019, Mera Peak) Great experience, great organisation, and perfect service. Ram, our guide, and Pasang, our porter, are in all time a great help for us. Mr. Prakash, give us all facilities for add changes in our program, and provide us solutions for all problems (for exemple, taxi service for return from Lukla -after an addicional day trek- due to closing Lukla airport by bad weather) We are really happies with the experience, and we hope count on Mr. Prakash and his team in our next travel to this wonderful country.Written October 17, 2023
- SiamakSadeghi0 contributionsOiBoyI started early in the season, and some of the mountain passes that I had hoped to experience were not available due to much snow. Thanks to the guide, Dendi sherpa, I had the best of what I could expect, far beyond the usual. He did his best to ensure both safety and that we were comfortable. He was both knowledgeable and skilled. I would recommend Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition with good reasons. They will be at the top of my options, on my next expeditions in Nepal. - T5354AOannaf0 contributionsAmazing adventureThe most amazing adventure of my life. Two peaks climb (Mera and Island Peak) in 3 weeks. Perfectly organised even in front of unexpected situations that required the itinerary to change more time to maintain the final peaks goal. I always felt to be in excellent hands and safe. The logistic was excellent and the choice to go in small group (we were 2) perfect to maximase the chance of success. I will definetively choose the same company for my future Nepal peaks.Written April 24, 2023
- J3161DPmichaele0 contributionsCompletely satisfiedWe booked our trip in November 2022 with this company. The communication in advance and the implementation on site were very professional and trusting. Our route led us from Paphlu via Lukla up to the Rencho La Pass. Via Gokyo we continued to the base camp of Island Peak. The next day we climbed the summit safely together with our mountain leader Lakpah. A great and unforgettable experience! Spontaneously we decided after the trekking for a guided sightseeing tour. This was also perfectly organized. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for the competent travel companion. Everything worked perfectly for us and we can recommend the cooperation. - 40matss0 contributionsGreat experience!I had a great time with this company and reached the top of Lobuche East Peak 6119m on October 9, 2022. I, together with my private guide and porter did the Lobuche East Peak climb with Everest base camp treck. The mountain guide Dendi Sherpa was really resourceful and tried to listen to and fulfill all of my requests. Safety was his highest concern throughout the whole trip. He had lots of connections in the mountains and knew where to go and who to talk to. When the flight to Lukla was canceled due to bad weather and it seemed that it would be canceled for several days he within hours arranged an alternative with Jeep transportation for the next morning so that my trip would not get destroyed. I later heard that other people was forced to stay put in Kathmandu for many days or had to pay a small fortune for helicopter transport. The same thing happen again on the way back and this time we where prepared so we reached Kathmandu within 30h after walking by Lukla, well in time for me to catch the flight home. Meanwhile there where over one thousand people that had been waiting for days up in the mountains for the flight to leave or to get a place on one of the helicopters. The guide waited for me at the airport when I arrived and left me at the airport at the end. The hotel in Kathmandu was clean and nice. It was on a safe side street away from traffic and noice close to Himalyan Java Coffe. The staff made sure i had a good time there and helped me organize trips. Its centered with walking distance to Durbar Square as well as to shopping streets and Hard Rock Cafe. On my second day the company arranged a private guided tour for me to some of the towns famous sites. The guest houses and hotels on the way were as expected not the best standard but far better than I am used to while on a mountaineering trip. Far renowned companies, like Ian Taylor Trekking, used the same places as us. We only stayed in tent one night the rest was in rooms. The high base camp tent was standard type and the main tent where we came together for rest and food was shared between several companies including one used by a swedish TV production company. Most places provided hot showers for an extra fee and it was never a problem to charge the phone. I have been to many +5000m mountains tops but this time was the first where I had to use an ascender and had to wire down ropes. It was the reason why I wanted to do this trip to get a first feeling for it. The Sherpa patiently showed me how to do it correctly and was by my side every step up to the top. The night was calm and clear with stars above us and we could see for miles while making our way up the mountain. We reached the top without major differences in the morning and stayed to enjoy it for a few hours before we made our way back down again. The sun shine and there where almost no clouds on the sky. A great experience indeed.Written January 3, 2023
- X1970DVluked0 contributionsManaslu Circuit and Larkya PeakHad the trip of a lifetime doing the Manaslu Circuit and an attempted climb of Larkya Peak with Sonam as my guide. We ultimately cancelled the climb due to the very high avalanche risk (there even ended up being one the day we were supposed to push up to high camp), but the circuit plus camping up at Larkya Pass to wake up to the sunrise views up there was magnificent in and of itself. Sonam was extremely knowledgeable about the area, where to stay in each town, and even had a good relationship with the locals to hook us up with some unique food options at times. Prakash was very easy to coordinate the trip with, and when the late season monsoon trapped us for a few days in Dharapani due to unsafe road conditions, he was extremely quick to coordinate a helicopter evac. We ultimately ended up being able to walk out, but having someone like that able to support you when conditions deteriorated was very reassuring. I will definitely do another trek/climb with this company the next time I come to Nepal. Thank you again for such a great experience!Written October 18, 2022

I have done a lot of trekking adventures to the Himalayas in Nepal, but I was always curious about how it would feel to climb an alpine peak. I did some research on what was the recommended expedition in Nepal for beginners, then I came across the Mera Peak Climbing which is apparently the ‘highest trekking peak of Nepal’. I was looking for a an immersive journey not just a scaling game on the alpine slope but an actual experience that felt like real mountaineering. So, I started doing research on the best agencies and package that could help create lifelong memories and may even push me to chase my passion for mountaineering. One of my fellow trekker who I got in touch with via a travel forum recommended me to Nepal Guide Treks, and let me tell you this, the experience wasn’t simply extraordinary. Our climbing guide Dakipa Sherpa who hails from the Sherpa clan that have conquered the highest mountain in the world lead us to the top of this incredible peak. I am really grateful to other helpful members of the team as well who helped us and cared for us throughout the journey. Kudos to the Nepal Guide Treks team, you will always be my top choice for every adventure in Nepal from now on.

I still remember my last trek to Mera Peak, which is one of the most memorable and entertaining treks to the date. Thanks to Nepal Guide Treks Team and Mr. Prakash, who made my journey smooth and safe while providing excellent service during my stay in Nepal. As an introvert, my biggest fear during the trek was socializing, and I couldn’t open myself to any queries at the start. But the friendly company of Nepal Guide Treks kept me going without any issues. They even handed me guide maps, an experienced guide, and a potter to carry my luggage.
From scenic landscapes, and lush forests to high rugged Himalayas, the journey was astonishing, and the Himalayan community left me with a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The sights were majestic, and the services from the company were excellent. I sincerely recommend this company to anyone who wants to seek thrilling adventure to the lap of the Himalayas with an assurance of no regret.

I have just completed my Trek in Nepal including:
- Mt Mera (6470m) Summit
- Base Camp for Mt Everest
I am very happy with the overall service provided by the tour organisers. I was after an early slot to the season and this was accommodated by Prakash. The Mera climb was particularly memorable and we have the worlds best photos from there on a perfect day.
We also did a helicopter transport from Near Mt Mera to Dinbouche on the Everest Base camp walk to save about a weeks walking.
The early season trip meant in the end i was traveling with just my Guide and Porter, but all were both accommodating and professional. They were flexible to add or take out parts of the trip (with no hassle) which I greatly appreciated.
The company was good, Sherpas good, no problem with payments.
Yes I would absolutely recommend.

First, I am thanks to all Nepal Guide Treks team especially Mr. Prakash & my guide Dendi Sherpa to climb successfully on Mera Peak. It is my first time to climb in Asian country mountain. I am excited to climb mountain in Nepal. My friend recommended me to Nepal Guide Treks, who already climb through this company. So, I email to ask some my question about climbing preparation, hotel, food, safety and etc. All the question, answer promptly replied by Mr Prakash (Owner). We had great talk on email. So, I bet on to climb Mera Peak in October 2018. I have also knowledge and train having climbing experience. Mr. Prakash arranged all my accommodation during Kathmandu at Aryatara Hotel in Thamel, that was quite nice stay and comfortable. We met on hotel discussed about Mera peak and also met my Guide Dendi. That men look strong and cheerful and also quite good experience in Nepal Mountain. That was helpful to me having such a good guide. Next day, we moved on morning flight to Lukla. During and trek and expedition, Dendi and porters were extremely friendly and helpful. The expedition was quite challenging for me with an ascent of Mera Peak at 6476m to reached top of the Mera Peak. That was amazing feeling in my heart. I can't explain what I saw from the top of the Mera, that was outstanding views of Himalaya. In the trip, all accommodate lodge and food was quite good and nice.
I strongly recommend to anybody considering a trekking & climbing in the Himalaya to use Nepal Guide Trek.

I recently went to the Mera Peak with Nepal guide Treks and I am happy very happy about the choice. Mr. Prakash talks about the pre-trip organization, acclimatization's planning and physical fitness for us. From the start my Sherpa guide Ang Dawa Sherpa was amazing, he supported every steps whole 15 days, he knows the everything in this region and well respected among the local Sherpa peoples. We hit the bad weather where we at Khare, but next couple of days weather change slowly. So, we wait for perfect weather condition to moved Basecamp then High camp. Next day, We climbed Mera Peak successfully. View from the top was beautiful and mesmerizing. I totally recommend this company for peak climbing. Especially thanks to Ang Dawa and Mr. Prakash, perfectly organized.
I can't wait for next adventure in Nepal.

Mr. Prakash, all the staff of NGT as well as our guide and porters played a huge role in our Mera Peak Trekking! Cannot thank you enough all the help we got from them!
I highly recommend Mera Peak Climbing with Nepal Guide Treks. I can't wait to organize another trip with them.

We climbed Mera Peak April 2018 with the company Nepal Guide Treks with our first climbing and trekking experience in the himalaya. Mr.Prakash provided excellent
advice and every queries what we asked about Mera peak, reply from Mr. Prakash from fast and very professional. The price we paid was in the average of the other
companies, but we can say the services were excellent.
Our guide Sona Sherpa and porters were very friendly and they adapted the trip to our wishes. We take a lot of photo during that times. In the tea houses, they always tried to find the best services to us. We hit the bad weather in Khare which halted our trek to high camp, we felt like the weather would pick up in a couple of days which it did, then we began to climb Mera Peak. We did it. Wonderful and amazing experience to reach the Top at Mera Peak. Thanks to our Guide Sona Sherpa and also our porters. We would totally recommend him to anyone wanting to trek in the Himalayas, We can't wait for our next adventure together. Nepal Guide Treks was great with the help whole logistics support during Mera Peak Climbing.
Thanks to all.
