Glad to be back! and can't wait to do it again
Eight years ago, I booked a trip with Travel Maker for a 14-day hike through the Annapurna Circuit, which was amazing. After that experience, I always wanted to come back. Well, I just finished my second trip with them—a 6-day hike to Mardi Himal. It was another incredible experience, and they took care of everything. The owner, KK, organized a fantastic trip for me. My guide, Dhrub, was excellent—very knowledgeable, patient, and made my trip truly memorable. I can't thank them enough and can't wait to come back for another adventure. I highly recommend them! Thank you, brother Keshab—see you again.

Epic adventure with the best guide
Spent 2 weeks hiking with guide Sagar and porter Bharat in the Himalayas. It was a stunning trip. It was a physically tough hike at times but Sagar was patient and kept our spirits high. I was so grateful that I did not need to plan anything for the trip - we just showed up at the Kathmandu airport and Sagar took care of everything else!

Absolutely perfect! I don’t think a travel agency has ever taken such good care of me. The guys are sweet and knowledgeable. Everything from every bus trip to every city and the 5 day hike to Annapurna back camp was well organized. I would highly recommend.

Age is just a number, go for it!
This was my first trek happened to the Himalayas, I present to myself for my 73rd birthday. I was a little apprehensive about the possible difficulties with the climb up, but I went with the best team of guide and Porter that I could ever have hope for! Sagar Karki and his brother Bharat Karki are the best Trekking team , guide and porter that I could’ve got. They were so helpful in getting us up to the top at Kyangin Gumpa that I would definitely go on my next trek in the Himalayas with this great team! Now I need to spend the next 12 months getting in shape and ready for it! Thank you guys so much!

Amazing experience of a beautiful region
Absolutely beautiful trek along the Langtang Valley with some challenging steps but overall very doable. The agency was amazing organizing everything and was always making sure both I and the other trekker had everything we needed, including looking out for our health. Both our guides, Sagar Karki and Bharat Karki, were excellent company with a thorough knowledge of the area and a fine sense of hospitality. I felt in very good hands and can’t recommend this experience enough. It’s worth every penny.

        Brilliant
From start to finish, I was looked after and everything felt easy. Our guide was extremely attentive and the company were so friendly and accommodating. We were prepared daily, and they were so flexible when it came to the hours we walked / the different needs of the group. The trek itself is beautiful. I will hopefully come back and I would choose to trek with these guys again :)

        Chandragiri and Kirtipur
Our guide, Rohid, took my family to Chandragiri Hills. The kids enjoyed the cable car ride up. The views and temples at the top were simply gorgeous. Rohid possessed a wealth of information about Hinduism, the temples, and the history of the Kathmandu Valley. Then we hiked down the hill, which was not what we were expecting. Walking down the road is the easier route, the issue was all of the cars in the dirt road. This was new and the road is usually closed, so that was out of our control. Long, boring walk but oh well. Then we went to Kirtipur for typical Newari food. Afterward we toured two more temples. The day was very enjoyable and our guide Rohid was truly looking out for us. He cared for the kid's safety. Thank you for everything!

It was a fantastic experience to trek with Travel Maker. I had two treks and they were both good experiences thanks to my guide Toran. He was extremely competent and made the whole experience much better. Can only recommend others to choose travel maker, if they think about going to the mountains😄

I had a fantastic experience with Travel Maker!
I did two treks with Travel Maker, and both were absolutely amazing!! The guides were extremely knowledgeable and professional, Keshab, the owner, was organized and responsive over text, the treks themselves were stunning and beautiful adventures - memories that will remain with me for the rest of my life. If you get a chance, book with Tula or Chiran! They’re both very friendly and easygoing, with years of experience guiding in high altitude areas. Keshab runs Travel Maker out of the Shangrila Boutique Hotel! So if you stay there, you can easily leave extra stuff behind in lockers, and stay a few nights before heading out. I had a fantastic experience with Travel Maker! I highly recommend booking a trip through this company!!

I felt disappointed of the porter who only have 2 yrs trekking experience not as per my requested with at least 5 yrs experience. The porter name Somnath who is a greedy man, who asked for free coffee and biscuit during the trekking and didn't take care of me well. He walk very fast and found a place to release the backpack for rest, I only can see him after 15 mins trek or 30 mins trek along. He bring me to the guest house who charged the room rate almost is double of normal price. When I was in Deurali, he try to scare me don't go to the M.B.C., told me the way was extremely slant and would fall down to the cliff. Also said would not continue the trek if no other trekker since he can't found the way to M.B.C. After the trek, he even ask me to offer him my trekking stick, thermos and backpack.

I can highly recommend using Travelmaker to guide you through the Nepalese mountains. It was truly a lifetime experience for me and my team. It's been over 2 weeks since the trek, but I'm still up in the clouds from amazement. We were 4 people with 4 different paces, yet still our magnificent guide, Sagar Karki, managed to keep a pace that suited all of us. With his cool temper, good humor and evergreen smile he kept our moods up even when we felt tired from walking.
Sagar also acted as a nurse as I fell and scraped up my knee and fot quite bad just before the trek. The guides at Travelmaker even have some actual medical training it seems! He also showed great care when we were at base camp, made sure we were all ok, and made us promise that we'd wake him up during the night if we felt even a little ill from the altitude. Only one out of the four of us felt the altitude slightly, but we bought height sickness pills in Pokhara before we left, and my friend was fine after taking one (half) of those. I believe the guides carry those pills as well.

We stayed in great tea houses all the way, cozy covers, real beds, breathtaking views out the windows and relly good meals.

Management from office was very helpful and answered all the crazy questions we had before the trek - in a heartbeat.

Oh, and we also had 2 porters with us, ofcourse great at carrying heavy loads up and down the mountains but also great company. Lovely, funny, warm guys - like the Nepalese are in general. I have never met a people more delightful than the Nepalese, it's such a friendly country.

I have walked with Travelmaker once before for a short day trip, and also then the guide was super. Using a guide might not always be necessary, but you'll miss a lot of interesting info if you don't, so I would definitely recommend that you do.

Seems a little boring that my review is so undifferentiated, but I am still so psyched from the experience of ABC. Need to be up in the Nepalese mountains again soon. Guess what agency I'll be contacting to guide me?...

We did the Annapurna circuit in Feb and had an unforgettable time. Our guide Bharat was perfect as he was very very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the whole area. He also made up the forth player in our series of card games which we played throughout the trek. Highly recommend both Bharat to anyone planning on doing a trek in Nepal.
