Excellent experience at EBC
Sep 2021 • Couples
My fiancé and I just finished our 12 day trek to EBC. From the moment we arrived in KTM to the moment our Nepal Hiking Team driver dropped us back at the airport, we had an amazing experience with NHT. Our guide was Santosh. He is outstanding and extremely familiar with the Everest region. I highly recommend him. We were nervous traveling to Nepal from the US during Covid, but Nepal is taking the pandemic extremely seriously and NHT did everything to ensure we were comfortable. They even took us to get our pre-departure Covid tests as soon as we finished our trek. We trekked during the first week of September which is technically still the rainy season. If you want peak views and less clouds in the sky, shoot for late September or October. We have done a lot of trekking before at high altitudes and this was by far our best experience. Neither of us got AMS (a first) and we felt extremely well taken care of. Thank you NHT!

Service with a heart. Five stars plus service
Apr 2021
My wife and i visited Nepal in 2021 April for Everest Base Camp Trek. We got lucky to visit the Everest region just before the rise of covid 19 number.
The company is five stars plus. Everything was just amazing. The company Boss Ganga was exceptional and gave all the services with a biggest heart we have seen. You have to experience it itself. Also we had one of the best Guides in the whole Everest area Mr. Arjun. We got all attention we needed. I have been to many mountains with many guides and Arjun is at the TOP of all. Thank you once again for the wonderful experience. Best wishes from Lithuania. Tadas and Edita

Excellent experience doing the EBC trek. Ganga was incredible to work with in planning and accommodating us. He was available for questions or concerns at any time, and made the entire process fluid and enjoyable. Our guide, Santosh, was AMAZING. Our trek would not have been the same without him. His charisma and fund of knowledge of the area made the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be trekking with Nepal Hiking Team for future endeavors there!

Excellent team for our trip to Everest base
May 2021
My wife and I were lucky to have chosen Nepal Hiking Team to plan our trip. We opted for a private guide and had a porter as well. We were waited at the airport and we were dropped of there as well when we left Nepal. Our guide, Ram, made sure that our trip was organized flawlessly, and that we were doing well and happy at all times. He chose the best available teahouses and we were allowed to chose the food from the menu in all of them (there seems to be agencies that say you can can either choose dal bhat or pay out of pocket). We were even served, during dinner, sliced apples carried by the porter. Ram was very knowledgeable and he shared information related to mountain peaks, vegetation, and animals, as we saw these; his English skills are excellent. Above all, he is friendly and has positive attitude, so we enjoyed talking and interacting with him. The porter, Bhola, was also very friendly. He looked like he was 50 kg, but carried 55-65 kg easily. Overall, it was a great once-in-a-lifetime experience to which Ram, Bhola, and Nepal Hiking Team contributed substantially. One of the owners, Ganga, even offered free rides for us to do the PCR tests or for other purposes. We couldn't have hoped for better treatment from this agency.

10/10 for this incredible team...
In May this year - some friends and I joined the Nepal Hiking Team For 16 days. Every fine detail was considered with our guides and porters going above & beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. Their knowledge and experience created a once in a life time opportunity for us all.

I have no hesitation in recommending NHT to anyone! They simply made this experience perfect, thank you guys ☺️

The best hiking agency
May 2021 • Solo
I cannot stress enough how good the staff are. Mr Ganga, a leading individual, got me out of locked down Nepal, got me a PCR test with results in 5 hours and his driver drove me everywhere with no complaints as fast as possible.
I believe he also systematically chooses who goes with who in what groups according to age, and matches them with who he thinks is the best guide.
In my case, I couldn’t have asked for a better guide or group.
The trekking was absolutely fantastic. Our guide, Shantosh, let us set our own challenging yet enjoyable pace, took us the best routes and made sure to stop us for the best times to soak in the views. He was well informed, so rest assured the knowledge thirsty (such as myself) can be satisfied.
The lodging was the best for its pricing, alongside good food the majority of the time.
The Woodapple Hotel I stayed at was also a great experience. Every hostel has a good bed and thick blanket (plus many more blankets if needed).
I would recommend this company above any else without a doubt or second thought.
Mr Ganga is a genuine individual who prioritises customer satisfaction. A rare combo, but makes him deserving of all praise and customers.

Use this company!!!

Unbelievable during COVID-19 pandemic
Apr 2021
Our son Max just finished the 16 day EBC trek. Between the start and finish a terrible second wave of COVID-19 infection exploded in Nepal, the country entered lockdown and all scheduled international flights suspended. Apart from ensuring Max still had the most amazing trek, Nepal Hiking Team worked tirelessly to make sure Max and all the other guests were safe and got out of the country as soon as possible on a US government chartered flight. They could not have done more for Max or to keep us informed in a truly difficult situation, particulaly when all the employees were worried about their own families. These guys rose to the occassion and went above and beyond. If you are worried about whether these guys are legit and trustworthy, don't be, you are in excellent hands

Had an amazing time!
Ishwor was an amazing guide. He took care of me and went my speed every step of the way. Always told me "slowly slowly". It really helped a lot to not feel stressed about going up fast or stopping to take photos. Every evening I was given sliced apples to "give me energy for the next day". Without Ishwor, I probably would not have made it to the top.

When I reached Basecamp I got really sick and the Nepal Hiking Team were very helpful in getting me down and cared for as fast as possible. They were fantastic!

Thank you Nepal Hiking Team for taking care of me and making my trip the best it could be.
