- It is important to be noted that the Kathmandu -Lukla - Kathmandu flights often gets delayed by hours or even gets cancelled for a day or few days due to unfavorable weather conditions in the mountain airstrip Lukla. Such unfavorable conditions may arise even during the best seasons including months October and November hence inis always better to prepare ahead. In such cases, you must be prepared for long waits either at Kathmandu or Lukla airports, as this can happen either at the start or at the end of the trek and sometime in both cases.
- We will do our best to avoid such delays, and arrange the earliest next flight for you but it might not always work well as there are many people in que for days long. In case of emergencies and need of urgent flight, the Helicopter rescue can be another option to escape to and from the mountain, except for some bad weather the Helicopters always have easy excess in the mountains. This can be arranged upon your request with some additional cost which sometime is covered by your insurance as well. The Helicopter can be chartered from both the airports, Kathmandu and Lukla with the tentative cost of US$ 3000 per lift which at a time can accommodate maximum of 5 Person.
- Having said this, we still suggest you to mentally prepare for possible delay/cancellations and arrange some extra contingency days which we can save for the end of the trip and if everything goes normal these days can be utilized for exploring other beautiful destinations around the valley as per your interest and we, the Adventure Bound is always there to provide you different options to utilize the days in best ways.

I am really glad, everything has been perfectly organised by laxman and our guide raj was the best experience. They were flexible and propose to adapt our trek should we wish to. My guide raj is experience and knowledgeable at mountains and I would highly recommend booking a trek with adventure bound family .

I am really glad, Everything has been perfectly organised by laxman and our guide was experience, knowledgeable , friendly and helpful . They were flexible and propose to adapt our trek should we wish to. Now is a raining season I hurt myself the first day of the trek but thanks to raji, I made it to the Base camp and back.
I would highly recommend to all book a trek with them.

Excellent service from the Adventure Bound team. Laxman and our guide Raman were very friendly, knowledgable and went out of their way many times to make our trip truly unforgettable. They guided us through the beautiful mountains, helped with all our questions and were pleasant to be around. Will book with them again, when I come back to Nepal (which I will!)

Thank you for Adventure bound team. We reached Everest base camp jn December 2019. Every part of the srevice of Adventure Bound was excellent Mr Laxman company owner reply our many question before we booked the trek. Everything was perfect plan from the Airports pick up to droop,
Our Guide Raj was knowledgeable,friendly he provide us excellent service he know All about the mountain and culture of Nepal. Accommodation ,food and others services provided by Adventure bound was good. Thank you all team. We highly recommend this company and we will come back again.

Have just got back from a fantastic trip with this company to everest base camp. Our guide Bibek was awrsome and made sure we were well looked after. Definately an experience I won't forget and I will definately be back

Group size: My wife, me, one guide and one porter
For our honeymoon, my wife and I wanted to experience the majesty of the Himalayas. We then decided to hike/trek to the Nepalese Everest Base Camp (South side). To book our trip we had a couple of choices: [1] Arrange our trip with a Dutch travel agency or [2] a Nepalese one. The problem with a Dutch travel agency (the middleman) is that it would cost us 1,5 to 2 times as much as when arranging our trip with a Nepalese one. However, how do you know which Nepalese travel agency to trust? After a thorough Google search my wife found Adventure Bound.
From the get go all our inquiries were answered and we received replies to all our emails (this was not the same with others we tried to contact). Because this inspired trust, we decided to book our trip with Adventure Bound. Now that we are back in The Netherlands we can say that they have provided exactly what we wanted, and this is why:
1. Our goal was to reach Everest Base Camp in 12 days. My wife and I are no experienced trekkers and had never done this before. We had no experience with trekking in high altitude regions (read: in oxygen depleted air) and no experience with the Himalayan terrain. Because of the experience and patience of our guide, he led us through the pitfalls of our trek and eventually to Everest Base Camp.
2. Although we paid a fixed sum for a travel package, we could adjust some aspects according to our wishes. For example: when we were not satisfied with a lodge, our guide went out of his way to find another one (provided we paid for the difference). This showed flexibility and an effort to increase our satisfaction during the trip.
3. At 5km altitude my wife suffered from altitude sickness. This required us to go down to another village. At night. Our guide led us through the cold and the pitch black dark to another village at a lower altitude where my wife quickly recovered. We knew we were in good hands and this was the proof of it.
When one goes on a trip one has certain expectations. We expected to experience something we never had felt before and to do this safely. Adventure Bound helped us make our wishes come true. Now that we are back in The Netherlands, without injury and enriched with new experiences (and loads of pictures one would die for), we can only be thankful.

My EBC trek was one of the best things I havr ever done. Thanks to my guide Rabin Thapa, who always tried to do his best to make me feel confortable. Respected my needs, my limits. Rabin is more than a guide, he is now a very good friend.

Recently returned from one the greatest adventures ever with the fantastic Rajkumar Silwal! Raj was an awesome guide, very attentive, funny and knowledgable. He enriched every step of the way. We did the Everest Base Camp trek. I cannot recommend this trek enough, it's something everyone should see! Definitely get Raj as your guide! He's such a great guy! Wonderful company to book through. Just finished this trek in late December. Mr Laxman was great at replying to emails and did airport pick up despite my flight being delayed to the next day. Bibek was a great guide with many years of experience and always made sure I was healthy and not sick. Madhav was a great Porter also with some experience in being a guide.

Between June and August it's summer and monsoon season: this means lots of rain. Rain implies grey skies. So I guess August would not be an ideal time to trek to EBC and to enjoy the views. I went for two weeks in October and it had only rained one day. And this wasn't even rain but a soft drizzle. So, if you have a choice, don't go in August.
