My partner and our daughter love The Traveling Spoon - we had a fantastic experience last year in India so when we planned our trip to Nepal we knew we wanted to see if there were any opportunities to do a similar experience.
Due to timing, Pooja was not available so asked if it was ok for just her mom Manju to host us. Manju was so wonderful and we really enjoyed meeting her! We were welcomed into their home and visited for a bit before starting to cook together. My 12 year old daughter is homeschooled and a very experienced cook - Manju expertly taught us how to fry Mendu Vada (lentil donuts) and mix up aloo ko achar (spicy potato salad). She had made a bunch of other tasty dishes ahead of time and we had a wonderful lunch together.

Hi there - I’m so sorry - I sent the below but had the wrong email address set up! Please reply to this one.
Hi there
Just wondering if you have any space for 2 people in a cooking class tomorrow?
We are awaiting confirmation from a helicopter manager in regards to our rescheduled flight to Everest but I think this has been pushed to the 24th so doing the cooking class on the 23rd would be perfect :-)
Thanks so much!!
