Our friendly tour guide Shambu picked us up from the airport and drove us to our first stay in Kathmandu. The next morning, we met with organiser kabi and went through the whole itinerary and answered all the questions. We couldn't ask for a better guide. Shambu was just great. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly . Same goes for our porter Sippi. Shambu went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Great accommodation and Food.highly recommend guide Shambu and this company.

          Great trekking experience to ABC!
It was such a nice experience going trekking to Annapurna base camp with Trekking guide team adventure. We have Deepak as our trekking guide and CP as our porter. They ensured that we are comfortable and enjoyable along the trip. They are fluent in English, and we are introduced to many local knowledge by them. Deepak arranged and customized our everyday plan according to our physical situation, and we successfully finished our first Nepal trek. The view along the trek was marvelous, not to say that we were lucky to have a glance at all the snow mountain peaks upon on the ABC camp. The manager owner was so helpful before the tour, and respond quickly to my questions. Our arrival at Kathmandu experienced some twists and turns due to the mass delay, but the agency owner stayed up late to replied to us, and waited early at the airport upon our arrival. I feel grateful for his well-considered serve. I highly recommend Trekking Guide Team Adventure! Don't hesitate to go and see the view around Himalaya mountain areas.

Our experience with trekking guide adventures was great. We catered to at every step of our journey, but our wonderful guide Shambu also gave us freedom and space to set our own pace and style. Shambu was knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts about the region as we trekked and settled into the tea houses each night to enrich our experience. Our porter Gopal was friendly, fast and reliable with our belongings, we never had any doubt or issues. Together Shambu and Gopal worked well as a team to assist us getting from A to B every day. Be prepared to take photos, photos, photos! There’s so many beautiful spots and our guide was always keen to make sure we captured the moment. Every location we stayed in was great. We were able to pick new locations to stay for the night when we were ahead of schedule and were always able to find space. The staff were all lovely, food was yummy and facilities clean. We are two fit, young females who completed all the activities available. Consider the activities and pace that is right for you! The porter and guide will be able to adjust accordingly. Thanks to the Trekking Guide Team for assisting us with this experience.

Unforgettable Adventure experience with “Trekking Guide Team Adventure”
Our recent trekking experience with Trekking Guide Team Adventure was exceptional. The itinerary offered a perfect mix of challenging hikes and breathtaking landscapes of Himalaya mountain range. I have always wanted to trek the Himalaya, “ Trekking Guide Team Adventure “ has made my dream come true. From the beginning the manager Kabi was so helpful with all necessary planning, he surprised us by keeping touch with us every single day of the journey to make sure everything went well as planned. We couldn’t ask for a better guide than Zit, he was knowledgeable and fun, always ensured our safety and comfort. His personal touch fruit plater every night after our dinner was a warm delight at the crispy cold Himalaya Mountain. Our hardworking nice personality porter Sipi, who supported us every step of the way, without him our journey was impossible. The mountain lodge were basic but clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend “Trekking Guide Team Adventure “ for an unforgettable Himalaya adventure!

          Amazing 3-day Trek!
This was an amazing 3-day trek! If you are staying in Kathmandu and looking for a way to see the countryside, then look no further. They will pick you up from anywhere in the city and take you on a hike for 3 days! It is an absolutely amazing way to see a bit of the countryside. There are some views of the Himalayas too if the weather is clear! My guide was amazing and I could not recommend this more!

The Everest 3 passes trek is one of the best trekking in Nepal with breathtaking views
The Everest 3 passes trek !We enjoyed beautiful views every day, the trekking was demanding in itself, but the views were definitely worth our effort. We didn't have to worry about anything because everything was professionally organised.

          Shambu, the greatest guide ever!
I just came back from the Lukla - Tengboche Trekking. Me and my wife had the pleasure to be guided by mr. Shambu Basnet. He was patient, fun... and a enthusiastic photographer! Shambu allowed us to trek on our own pace, always encouraging us and remembering to drink water when the "taxi" passed by 😂 If you plan to visit Nepal, Shambu is the guide I reccomend from the bottom of my heart!

5 day Helambu trek - 5 star guide!
Our guide Shiva Raj Thapa was wonderfully warm and helpful and guided us safely through 5 days in Helambu. Unfortunately no views of the mountains because of the haze. Trekking Guide Team Adventure organised our trip efficiently (the day before!) and checked in with us regularly as we trekked. Reasonably priced ($350 USD) - we just hope most of the money goes to our guide who did all the hard work. Thanks again Shiva!

          Good and reliable trekking agency
We did the Pikey Peak 7 days trek with this agency. It was well organized and our guide Jit was very helpful and supportive to us during the whole trek. The view from the Pikey Peak summit is really stunning, we saw all the Himalya main range from Manaslu to Kanchenjunga and it was really impressive. Thank you Jit and the Trekking Guide Team Adventure for this great experience!!!

          A Wonderful Annapurna Circuit Trek!
What a once in a lifetime experience. I initially picked Trekking Guide Team Adventure for my Annapurna Circuit Trek because of their quick and thorough communication. They arranged and connected me with my Guide/Porter Sipi, who is literally a Top-Notch provider … and also a local to the region who seemed to know everyone, or had family along the way that made my 13-Day adventure a more personal and memorable experience. There was never a need to worry about where I was going to stay or getting lost off track! And if I preferred to stay somewhere else, Sipi always had a backup. Sipi also carried much of my gear so that I could focus on the experience and the sights, which also allowed me to film and capture pictures of my adventure more freely along the way. And if there was something unique along the way I wanted to see, Sipi had no problem accommodating, even giving many suggestions of landmarks or sights we should try to visit. A couple days into the trek I got sucker-punched with a severe stomach virus. However, my guide Sipi was very quick to make sure I got the medication I needed, the time to rest I needed, and still kept us moving forward on our adventure when I was ready. So would I recommend Trekking Guide Team Adventure and my Guide Sipi for your next Nepal outdoor experience? Definitely Yes! Once the hike began, it was sooo nice not to have to worry about any of the behind-the-scenes details, and just focus on my journey and experiences! Namaste! 🙏🏼

          EBC trek
We put a lot of planning for this trip. We were a group of nine people including three children. Our guide Shambhuji was excellent in taking care of us on a daily basis. Being a senior guide, he had good knowledge about the surroundings, local places and people. Shambhuji, took care of us and always walked with the slower members of our group. He was very good with children and had medical knowledge which helped my wife as she fell sick. Shambhuji arranged for a horse for my wife when she was sick and once EBC trek was over even arranged for a helicopter to take us back to Lukla. I will also mention the porters who were always there and carried our bags. Over all this was a successful trek and we will have a lot of memories. Thank you Mr. S. Chattaraj

I had a great time hiking on the hills of Nagarkot. We passed through villages, temples and beautiful nature. Shambu Basnet is a superb guide and he even ran after a truck to by me watermellon, as I had told hime it was my favourite fruit. Very much appreciated for his kindness.

It was a nice trip to Nagarkot. The trip is well organized. They contact me by email and WhatsApp me to arrange pick-up. Our guide Subash is a very nice guy. He came early to pick-up in the hotel. The trip will pass the local village and you will able to see local people living, farming and temple. You will see a great mountain view along the trip.

I've given it a few days to leave the dust settle. I thought about it, and contemplated the various aspects of the trip. I'll break it down into different parts.

        The company:
The company is run by a man called Kabi. It was founded in 2012. This is my second time with this group. I have traveled to Nepal twice. Both times using this company "Trekking team adventure". They have a reputation of using groupon costumers. Kabi is good at responding to emails and greets you on arrival.

Be careful, he charges you $40 to stay in company affiliated hotels per night. Usually on booking.com these hotels are less than 23-25 dollars per night. (Hotel holy Himalaya, or hotel thamel) To be honest most things with this company follow a similar trend.

        Nagarkot trek:

The first trekking trip I went on was a groupon. It was 5 days trekking in Nagarkot. Just be very careful. The views of Everest (as advertised)form Nagarkot are weather permitting and very very distant. Over 100 km away. See YouTube of what you can see. Also most of the trekking is along roads and on steps on this trek. If you're looking for nature and unspoilt landscapes this won't offer much.

        Everest base camp:
        16 days.

Fantastic trek. Over a numbers of days and acclimatisation stops you negotiate your way through alpine landscapes, up to flat upland, to glacial mountainside. Tea houses were very good quality, most notably in Dingboche and Lobuche. I would highly recommend the trip.

        Guides:

The guides on both my trips were good. Friendly, interested and willing to help. Knew some parts of the trek well.

        Problems:

Reading your itinerary will help. From the moment we got on our flight to lukla, changes were being made to it. I reckon this is a trend with the company. Firstly, we were told that the Chhukung Ri hike was a misprint. So that would not be on our schedule. Same as Kalapatther. (Weather was fine) I ended up doing two hikes on my own on these days. Guides, stayed in the tea house. Guides also didn't know were the memorials were for the 1996 Everest disaster were. They wanted to stop close to base camp and not go on to the glacier to the actual basecamp. Which was annoying after hiking for 16 days to get to the actual bc. I would question their level of fitness Also.

Usually the company will blame the guide and guide will blame the company. Don't get drawn in.

If your familiar with hill walking and hiking push for your itinerary. Start early and avoid delays on route.

Would I go with this company again. NO.

Myself and my partner went to Nepal not knowing what to expect. What we experienced was brilliant memories that will always be with us. We came from Abu dhabi and got into the airport, luckily they're was only one flight entering visa control, and got out 15 day visa, which we had to pay for in usd. We were met straight away by our trekking guide , Sauran, and the driver. Our guide was excellent throughout the trip, always making sure we got enough food, taking pictures and telling us about Nepal and his own experiences. We met the company owner, kabi, at the hotel and he was also very helpful and efficient. The hotel was ok, basic but the staff are friendly. The area was right in the heart of the tourist region with all the shops selling "cheap" north face gear, obviously not real but very cheap and they like haggling. We picked up nice ornaments and masks that are perfect souvenirs. The second day we saw all the sights and temples in Kathmandu. Most of the places were definitely worth seeing and the admission is quite cheap. The traffic is crazy which drags out the day a bit but it was enjoyable. We then left to go trekking and got a young porter to bring our bag, we left the other one with the hotel staff. It costs $75 for the 3 days. The first day trekking we got breakfast and left about 8ish. We got there about 9:30 and off we set. Just myself and my girlfriend did the trek which was nice , plus you didn't have to wait for anyone else! We trekked for about 4 hours and reached 2,500m, the views and weather were gorgeous and the village we stayed in at the top was actually quite nice. We were blessed with the weather, actually got burnt, which added to the views and enjoyment. The hotel was very basic and we got extra blankets as it got quite cold at night. The sunrise at 6:10am was beautiful and well worth getting up for! Then we are breakfast and settled out on our 7-8 hour trek through the jungle / mountain trail. It was a long but enjoyable day. We stopped half way for nearly 2 hours for food, which was just ok at best but we expected that ! We reached nagarkot and the hotel was fine, food was good, especially the steak for dinner! The views the next morning were a bit misty but nonetheless gorgeous and well worth seeing. After breakfast we headed on our last 4 hour trek and returned to Kathmandu in the afternoon. We got a nice massage, Sauran showed us where to go, and stayed in a much nicer hotel for our last night! We didn't have to check out until 3, which was brilliant ! We got our last few souvenirs and headed to the airport with excellent memories of Kathmandu and Nepal. We are already thinking of returning next year and using this company again. It was a well organized and hassle free holiday, everything was done in a professional and punctual manner. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks to Kabi and Sauran, along with the rest of the people who made our holiday so memorable. 👍

We went for a three day trek, overnighting in Chisopani and Nagarkot. Organiser came to visit us at the hotel the day of our arrival (the day before the start of the trek) to make sure we understood everything.

Our tour guide and porter (yes, we hired a porter and are glad we did) were excellent - friendly, helpful without being invasive, and competent in English. Trek was interesting. Accommodations were adequate (first night not so good, but better than a tent a definitely part of the overal experience).

We would go to Nepal again and would contact Trekking Guide Team again for a value for money experience.

Working in Nepal for a few days, my colleagues and I had one day spare before returning home. We selected this tour so we could see a bit of the country outside Kathmandu but without it being too difficult for people that don't walk long distances regularly.

It really didn't disappoint - Mr Teej, our guide, was knowledgable and entertaining. We went through some fabulous scenery and villages, seeing temples and sights that took your breath away, including the Everest range in the distance at one point. We finished up in Nagarkot then we were picked up by the driver and taken to Hotel View Point at 7,200 feet for a leisurely late lunch, where we enjoyed some lovely food and welcome beers!

Make sure you have good walking shoes / boots and water. 100% would recommend.

It was my first ever trek and I was looking forward to it as a 53 years old man. I went with my 26 years old daughter. She organized the trip with Kabi from Melbourne, Australia.

From the moment we landed in Kathmandu, Kabi and his team made sure of all the arrangements. Kabi is highly professional and makes sure that his customers are well informed and looked after.

Our tour guide Krishna is highly experienced and was well supported by porters Jeet and Padam. It was amazing to see the amount of communication and promptness both on part of Krishna and Kabi. My daughter fell sick after completing the base camp journey and informed Krishna of her condition at Gorak Shep. Krishna promptly arranged with Kabi in Kathmandu to send a Helicopter to transport her back to Kathmandu. She was back to Kathmandu in less than 2 hours and an ambulance was waiting for her at the airport to take her to the hospital. She recovered after 2 days in the hospital and we are back in Melbourne.

This was the best example of duty of care displayed by Kabi and his team. Kabi has made sure that I visit Nepal again, this time with my wife for a sightseeing tour through his professionalism, empathy and compassion.

Our tour guide Subhash for the hike to Nagarkot and other sightseeing places was very knowledgeable and a patient man explaining everything in great detail.

All in all, customer first policy of Kabi was instrumental in our having a very safe and fulfilling trip.
