This Adventure included visits to the old squares of Patan filled with temples both large and small and two monasteries. The combination of Buddhist and Hindu religions was interesting and Subash did a very good job of explaining what we were seeing at each point. The Patan museum is not to be missed and walking thru the alleys of the old town was fun. Lastly the bites of local food were yummy. I highly recommend this urban adventure.Written September 26, 2024

- VoyagerNomad_20180 contributionsInteresting experience with the festivalThis is a new tour. We had a very unique and interesting experience in Kathmandu on the back alleys as it was the last day of the eight day Jatra festival and we saw the Kumari. The streets were packed with local people and tourists. The parade took two hours so we only had time to visit one stupa at Katesimbu which was very informative and then ended the tour with a hot chayi at the square.Written September 21, 2024

It was a perfect mix of cultural and historically significant architecture and terrific local cuisine. If you are able to book Sanjeev then you have hit the jackpot. Another aspect that was appealing was the lack of other tourists. Don't miss this during your time in Kathmandu!Written September 15, 2024

I had the pleasure of exploring Boudhanath and Pashupatinath in Kathmandu with Sanjeeb as my guide, and it was truly an incredible experience that I wholeheartedly recommend. Sanjeeb expertly led our group to hidden gems that I would never have discovered on my own. His friendliness, high level of expertise as a tourist guide, and attentiveness to the group's needs made this the highlight of my trip to Kathmandu so far. I couldn't have asked for a better day!

Yogi showed us some of the little hidden treasures the city holds that we would not have found by ourselves. It was great to hear the history, context and reality of life in Katmandu. Loved the calm purposeful intellect of our guide. Keep this one! He’ll end up one of your best despite his youth.

Sanjeeb provided a wealth of information at both sites. He was able to answer all my questions and push information covering what i didn't know. Time spent in the tour was a blessing; I will remember this tour for the rest of my life. Additionally, Samjeeb took into account my interest to be blessed by a Buddhist monk and pray at the Buddhist temple. I was so happy that these interests could get addressed.

I had the amazing opportunity to go on a Tour with Sanjeeb on New Years Day 2081 and it blew my mind. The Highlight was definitely the Hindu Temple Pashupatinath, where I was able to witness a hindu ceremony with thousends of people. Sanjeeb was such a great, fun, educated and open guide, we laughed a lot, I even learned some nepali and we visited a local pub (no tourists in sight, thats how I like my experiences). I felt very safe, even with all the crazy crowds of people and I would not want to miss this adventure for anything. Totally recommend! DHANYAABAADH!

This was a highlight for my stay in Kathmandu! I could not recommend it enough. I needed a last min change to my tour change and they were so accommodating. My guide, Bini, was absolutely amazing and the best guide I had in Nepal! She was knowledgeable, patient, generous and hilarious! She even helped me find additional information about singing bowls I wanted, that wasn't part of the original itinerary. Both spiritual locations were eye opening with Bini's insights and information- my experience would not have been nearly as good without her. I learnt so much about the unique Hindu and Buddhist spiritual practices in a relaxed and comfortable context. I particularly loved the Pashupatinath Temple. I recommend this tour to anyone going to Kathmandu to check it out. Thank you Bini and team!

A fantastic experience with Nikita. We were instantly made to feel welcome and had a great day. We learnt so much about Buddhism and Hinduism at some truly beautiful temples. Nikita was incredibly knowledgeable and answered any questions that we had. We would definitely recommend if you want to get a taste of the cultural and spiritual aspects of Nepal. There were also great and interesting additional activities including a sound bowl demonstration and palm reading. A great day overall! Everyone we interacted with at Kathmandu Urban Adventures were professional and so helpful. Would definitely recommend!
