Mosaic built a custom package for our family of 2 older teens and us parents and we couldn't have been happier with our holiday. We were met at the airport by our guide who was with us through much of our tour (thank you Ramesh), had an excellent and knowledgeable city guide for a couple of days around Kathmandu (thank you Keshar), and the itinerary met our needs and interests to a tee. The pace was good to feel like you have enough free time but not so much you're bored. Madhav from head office was incredibly responsive at all times throughout booking and the tour. Our guide (Ramesh) on the Pun Hill trek collected us from Kathmandu and made every transition between vehicles, hotels and the start of the trek hassle free. On the trek he answered all our questions, shared his extensive knowledge with us and ensured the pace he set met the fitness needs of our family. One of our 2 porters carried and served us fresh fruit every night, and Ramesh helped us explore and appreciate the traditional way of life of the local villagers. Back in Pokhara he also guided us around the important sites before we headed off to Chitwan to connect with nature and wild animals, an itinerary inclusion that we will never forget (how often do you go wildlife spotting on an elephant or in a dug out canoe?). Madhav also put us in touch with a local foundation with whom we volunteered for a day and we really appreciated him helping us include that into our trip seamlessly. This was an unforgettable trip made extra special by the professional and friendly personnel at Mosaic from start to finish.

We did EBC trip with the company in year 2019, and we had great experience. When my husband and I want to do ACT this year, we went with Mosaic again. Our guide Buddha and our porter Rupak were amazing. The trip was well organized but with flexibility. When we found out that the planned date for us to cross 5416m pass has bad weather, we discussed with Buddha to skip the acclimatization day in Manang, he assessed our condition and accommodated our request, so we were able to cross the pass on a great sunny day. The team was always positive and provide the best service as they can on the mountain, we had fruits after every dinner (Rupak carried them through the trip) and hot water bag to warm up the sleeping bag in -10 c degree nights. These small details made a big difference. We plan to go back to Nepal with our kids in 2-3 years, we will definitely choose Mosaic again, and hope to go with Buddha and Rupak again!

My father and I went with mosaic on a private hike to Everest base camp. Our guide Manoj is phenomenal — he saved our lives (literally). We both had complications with the altitude and he was able to help us change the itinerary so we had more time to acclimate. It wasn’t enough, however, and we need emergency transport back down, which he quickly coordinated. We are seriously grateful for him and highly recommend journeying with mosaic.

Mosaic made our trip to Nepal so easy. Our guide and porter for the Langtang trek, Purna and Ram were absolutely fantastic. They were always on hand to help and answer any questions and even offered to help us find something we wanted to buy the day after our trek. The langtang trek was a perfect introduction to altitude trekking for us and can’t wait to get back out to try more. Mosaic made it so we could turn our brains off from the day we arrived, organising everything from transfers to a Kathmandu day tour for us as well as visas and communicated everything to us excellently.

I did the Everest Base Camp Trek with Mosaic Adventures and it was a truly unforgettable experience. We were very lucky to be accompanied by Madan and Manoj who were the most incredible guides. They were both so friendly and accommodating towards our group, making a particular effort to ensure everything went smoothly. I had some concerns beforehand about travelling with a nut allergy however, they were very good at telling me what was safe to eat and what I should avoid. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip and will definitely be using Mosaic Adventures for future treks!

Our group of 22 people booked Mosaic Adventure for our spiritual adventure during which we explored Kathmandu, Lumbini and Nagarkot. Our guide Keshar was the perfect fit for our group's energy. He was knowledgeable, patient, open-minded and accomodating to our needs and requests. He always tried his best to answer my endless questions. What I appreciated is that after his explanation, he would try to find a real life example to illustrate it as we are walking. Keshar also joined our activities and displayed interest to learn. Above all, his positivity, joyfulness and smile, even in some stressful situations, made our trip in Nepal very meaningful and special.

Mosaic Adventures and my trip to EBC was the best experience of my life. As a foreigner who has not travelled much outside of the US, Mosaic made for the best experience. They ensured I was picked up from the airport safely, the Hotel accommodation at Hotel Moonlight was great, all the transportation went very smoothly. The entire trip I felt safe and comfortable. My guide Madan was the absolute best. He was extremely skilled, kind, considerate, and answered all of my many questions about the area, culture, and trekking. If you are planning to trek with Mosaic Adventures, I can guarantee Madan is the best guide for any of your treks. I already have future plans to trek with Mosaic Adventures, and will insist on having Madan as my guide. I highly recommend Mosaic Adventures for all Nepal treks.

Mosaic is terrific for both self-guided & supported adventures! I did 2 treks in Nepal. For my first trek I solo hiked the Three Passes + EBC trek. Mosaic helped me to book my flights to / from Lukla, which is a bit complicated, and answered my many questions quickly and clearly to help me understand what to expect upon arrival. Also, it didn't cost me any more than if I'd bought the ticket myself from the airline. Mosaic then really saved me when I got sick on the trek, missed my flight, and they were able to rebook for me without any penalties or change fees. Truly amazing service and I am so grateful for their help - I would've likely lost a lot of money and headache without them! I had such a good experience that I returned to Nepal again for a second trek, this time to hike ABC with my dad! This time we decided to book flights to Pokhara, a porter and jeep. Mosaic was able to book these for us with <48 hours notice and even took care of permits (which we'd forgotten about!) The price was more than fair and we got so much value from them handling all the logistics with zero headache. When we met up with our porter, Rupak, we were delighted and surprised to find he was so much more than what we had expected of a porter. He was essentially a guide! In addition to carrying all our stuff, he also walked with us every day and helped by advising us on improvements to the route we had initially planned, suggesting good quality guest houses for tea and lodging, ensuring our meals were on time and comfortable, setting a good hiking pace with breaks, and ensuring we were healthy and happy. He also was a great photographer / videographer and captured so many special moments that we will treasure forever. He also taught us how to make cool travel videos on our phones. Big thanks to our unofficial trip leader - we would highly recommend him! Also shout out to Madhav from Mosaic who has been immensely helpful and responsive to all of my questions. We very much recommend Mosaic and will definitely use them again if we find ourselves back in Nepal!

My Mum and I recently completed the Poon Hill trek and had the best time. Our guide, Madan, is our hero! He was so knowledgeable, caring and considerate - we could not fault him and he made it really special (also shout out to our porter, Rupak). The trek itself is beautiful, and we had brilliant weather and views (save for the summit itself, but you cannot plan for these things). In terms of difficulty, there are quite a lot of steep steps, but overall it was relatively easy-going. We'll definitely be back for the bigger ones!

We did an extended 6 day Poon Hill trek. Our guide Rudra and porter Ram were delightful. They took care of us during the entire tour, consulted us on the way and even changed the tour itinerary. Initially we were planning to go to Jinhu and the hot spring, but changed the destination and ended up on the final day at the Australian Camp which was brilliant. They company is professionally run and I am happy to recommend them.

I went to the Everest Base Camp and Gokyo lakes with this tour company and it was absolutely incredible. The service from the initial email to the journey back home was outstanding. The guide Pralhad and the porter Unik were both amazing and very knowledgeable. Showing both myself and my dad amazing sights of nature and helping and guiding us to ensure we made it there safely. The organisation had also arranged for us to have a tour around Kathmandu where we had a great guide that showed us around the unesco sites. The timing by the guides were spot on and we arrived back with plenty of time. We then arranged a further trip through Mosaic to the Chitwan safari and they organised a private driver and hotels along with all the safari expeditions within a very short notice period.

Same as other reviews, our group went on a spiritual adventure to the same destinations. The journey was incredibly insipiring for us all, and well organized. Thank you so much Keshar for the experiences, we can't thank you enough.

My mum and I did the 4 day Poon Hill trek last week and it was incredible. Highly recommend Mosaic Adventure- they looked after everything, including even surprising my gluten-free mum by finding buckwheat flour to bring on the trek so she could have pancakes! Rudra, our guide was absolutely wonderful, he tailored the whole trek to our pace and made sure we enjoyed the whole way. And Ram, our porter, was an absolute gem, always running ahead to get the night’s accomodation sorted for us. Will definitely be getting in touch with Mosaic for my next trekking adventure!

My daughter and I did the Poon Hill trek recently and can’t express just how much we enjoyed it. From our first contact with Madhav we were impressed. He responded almost immediately and answered every question fully. Our guide Rudra and porter Ram were both wonderful human beings and went out of their way to be helpful and encouraging. I am 67 and found some sections hard but with the every assistance from Rudra I managed it all. I need to eat an GF diet and he even brought buckwheat flour with him so I could have pancakes for breakfast! The tea houses we stayed in were very comfortable, with great views and delicious meals. I couldn’t recommend Mosiac Adventures enough. If you are even thinking about doing this trek just book.

This was a spiritual tour that was never done before and Mosaic took on this challenge and surpassed all expectations. We discovered temples and monasteries and many spiritual places that our guide (Keshar) was able to explain the cultural aspects of also. He was very flexible when we discovered something we wanted to explore that was not part of the pre arranged program. He was very knowledgeable and our group of 22 had fun together. We visited Katmandu, Lumbini, and Nagarkot. 2 of us also went to Chitwan National Park which Mosaic also arranged for us.
