Our tour guide Mr.Prashant was highly knowledge on schedule and very educated . He knows the city very well and we were able to cover all the places within the allocated time and navigate through traffic.

The guide Mr. Prashant explained about the Darbar Square, history of Nepal etc. it felt like I was reading a history book. He gave us a tour of the museum, explained about Sacred Art, King's thrown from 6th century and beautiful palace where the king used to meditate in the past.

Love this trip and will defiantly go on another tour with them next time when we are in town.
For Lunch and Mr.Prashant suggested 100% authentic Nepali restaurant. We had momos and Chai that was also a highlight of the trip.

My itinerary for the day started at the Patan Museum, just off of the Durbar Square. This is my first trip to the region and am still learning about the basics of Hinduism and Buddhism, so the museum was absolutely the perfect place to start as it dug into understanding how to interpret all of the images, carvings, and sculptures we would see throughout the day. My guide was extremely knowledgeable and was even able to provide some comparative explanation as to what I had just experienced visiting Bhutan versus how these religions manifest themselves in Nepal. Throughout the day, my guide was very helpful and patient, the lunch spot we stopped at was high-quality and provided a beautiful view of the Boudhha Stoupa (sp?). I highly recommend this - cheap price for the quality you're getting for sure.

This is probably the tour you would want to do if you want to hit as much of the UNESCO heritage sites in Kathmandu city as possible. Our tour guide Neeraj was very informative and helpful and patiently answered all of our questions about the cultural practices in each site. Would highly recommend for those who would want to experience the unique cultural practices of the city.

This cultural sightseeing tour of Kathmandu is a great experience to explore and actually see and feel the city. They covered all the important cultural sites and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour with our friendly and informative tour guide. Our tour guide was Neeraj who has a wealth of information on Nepali culture, history including the driver Rabi with safe driving. Don't miss out this tour if you are in Kathmandu.

Tour was very well organised, picked up from hotel in clean and air conditioned car, water was provided. We took in all the UNESCO heritage locations and Neeraj was a fantastic guide, very insightful and knowledgeable about the history and religious significance. Neeraj spoke great english so there was no communication barrier. Neeraj was able to adapt to our requests very easy and was very accomodating. Highly recommended for people who want to see all the beauty of Kathmandu in a day.

We immensely enjoyed the private tour! It was well-planned, with an attention to details. Both the driver and the guide were professionals of their job. Our guide Prasant was very knowledgeable and very helpful during the trip and beyond. Highly recommend this tour especially if you have short time at Kathmandu and want an unforgettable experience.

We had such a beautiful full day with Neeraj! He guided us expertly through the bustling city and knew so much about the history and philosophy of Kathmandu. He even let us stop and admire all of the handicrafts, and still managed to take us to so many places. We definitely recommend this tour!

I joined a one-day city tour, and Dipesh was my guide. He proved himself to be very knowledgeable and professional. He guided us to walk from a local market in Thamel (I highly recommend this morning walk in the winter) to the Monkey Temple with enormous patience. My father is 81 years old, and he cannot walk fast. The tour was supposed to be ended at 1 p.m. but at last we finished at around 4-ish. Dipesh kept reminding us not to rush. Besides, I asked him to introduce me to a singing bowl master, and he introduced me to one of the best in Nepal, Shree Krishna Shahi, the teacher of teachers. After the tour, Dipesh even offered us lots of follow-up services, such as helping me to get the packaging materials. Dipesh is one of the best guides during my stay in Kathmandu. I enjoyed the trip, and Dipesh's guidance and helpfulness, for sure, made it even more wonderful.

Thank you Breakfree Adventures for organizing such a short and sweet holiday for us. Initially, we only booked UNESCO world heritage sights tour of Kathmandu, but we had another free day and our guide from the sightseeing suggest us to do a mountain flight and hike to Shivapuri Hill and we did both. It was really great experience. Thank you so much for organizing this trip in so short time. If we know any friends or family visiting Nepal, we will certainly suggest you guys! Highly recommended!!

So glad we spent half a day on this tour of Kathmandu. Amazing monuments to behold. Prasant Dhungana was our guide and he may the day! He was fantastic - his deep knowledge about the city, history, culture, religion, people and all the monuments really shone through and made for a special day. Thank you Prasant!
