What a stunning view of Kathmandu and the surrounding mountain ranges! The trip was definitely worth it. My tour guide Shanti did a fabulous job - she answered all my questions, gave me some great insight into the history of the area, and made sure I didn’t miss the lighting of the oil lamp at the temple. She let me take my time and set my own pace for the visit. I definitely recommend this tour guide and this tour company if you are looking for a great, relaxing and rewarding experience.

I very much enjoyed this tour, and it was worth getting up early. Madan and the driver were right on time. The driver was very careful and it was a very comfortable ride in both directions. The sunrise views were spectacular and very different from the hazy views in Thamel. Madan made sure I saw all of the best views, including seeing Mt. Everest peeking out of the mass of Himalayas. The hike was super interesting, walking through villages and seeing how folks live in the countryside, along with many goats, dogs, chickens, and the occasional cow. Madan had lots of knowledge about the local culture and economy, and he explained the stories behind beautiful Hindu temples we saw as well. I would highly recommend this--and don't forget to wear comfortable shoes!

I had a lucky day as managed to view most of mountain and sunrise was stunning.Thanks to my tour guide, Shishir for taking nice photo and pointing out each mountain & explain the history of monastery. I recommend him if you follow this tour.

This was a great tour. As a solo female I was a little nervous about the driver and guide being male however, it was a non-issue. My guide Ananta and the driver made me feel very comfortable and on the hike we had good conversation. Even though you get up a O’ Dark Thirty, it was worth it. The sunrise was beautiful and there was a great view of the Himalayan mountains, although we did not see Mt Everest , the scenery was spectacular. We had breakfast at the Himalayan Club and it was delicious. After we went on a hike, I chose the shorter route and it was about 1:15 and not difficult at all just a little dusty/muddy. We walked through some small villages and that was nice. Once we’re at the temple Ananat was right at home explaining everything. HINT: driving to Nagarot is a narrow, twisty and sometimes steep drive. If you get car or motion sickness, take medicine or avoid this tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Had the opportunity to go for the sunrise hike and than hike through the Nagarkot villages with Shishir. He was excellent and made sure I had a great experience by providing all details about the area and culture. The hike itself was easy and very pleasant through the villages, forests and ending at the Changunarayan temple, which happens to be a UNESCO heritage location. Highly recommended hike and a very professional guide Shishir is. Thank you.

I have booked the Mont Everest Helicopter tour. And this tour was one of the most memorable experience on my trip to Nepal! We stoped by Everest Hotel to have a breakfast during the trip. The most stunning views! The pilot very knowlegeable! I'm not a hikker and with this trip I was able to have the most unique and lifetime experience. Hymalaian Planet tours assisted me in my tpurs to the beggin to the end with an excellent service. I have booked other excursions with them all in October 2022. I keep recommending their services globaly for people which are travelling to Nepal.

We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kathmandu. We were very fortunate to get to see the Himalayan mountains, including Mt Everest as the sun came up on a beautiful day. We then got to take a nice hike down the mountain walking thru little villages along the way experiencing rural life up close. Madan our guide was a nice guy who gave us a great perspective of rural life vs city life around Kathmandu. We really enjoyed his company!

Great tour with Shishir! He is a very experimented guide who took us to the best places, he was very kind and solved all our questions. Beyond being a guide he is a very nice person and you really enjoy your little trek talking of all sort of things, he goes beyond to make you feel comfortable and be sure you enjoy your visit.

Great views and a lovely temple visit. I found the hike itself quite strenuous and at times a little scary (particularly when the guide took steep short cuts). The other people on this hike seemed absolutely fine - so it’s fairly subjective.

This was an amazing experience! My guide Shanti was fantastic, she is so knowledgeable on Nepal culture, history, flora and fauna. Request for her to be your guide! The hike was the perfect length as well as mix of culture and stunning scenery. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to explore the countryside and escape the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu.

Shishir was an incredible host. He took me to the sunrise viewing spot, several Buddhist and Hindu temples in Nagarko and Bhaktapur, and through some Nepali villages. We also had a nice breakfast at a local spot. He shared his extensive knowledge of Nepal’s history and culture and was super friendly and easy to talk to. I felt safe as a solo female traveler, which was something I was concerned about before. Thanks so much Shishir, you’re the best!

We had an amazing day with Som today. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot and also saw some amazing views!
