I absolutely loved this tour I got to see the cultural village, museum and eat nshima. I am a solo traveling female and felt very comfortable on the tour. Clare is an amazing tour guide very charismatic, kind, and knowledgeable. I had such a great time I even took one of Clare's cooking classes the next day in which I learned how to make a traditional Zambian meal. If you are visiting Lusaka and don't know where to start I strongly suggest this tour.

My tour guide Ms.Clare really shines a light on what a rich city Lusaka is. The tour single handedly ties together culture,history and local cuisine so perfectly. Having limited time in Lusaka it was the perfect way to spend my layover.

I have only been in Zambia a couple of days but have already fallen for the spirit of the country, and Clare embodies that. This was an engaging, authentic experience, delivered by someone who clearly has a passion for where she is and what it means to her.

Clare is very professional. She was on time at our meet up point and we went to the Museum and theCultural Centre. I learnt a lot and was able to ask Clare tons of questions about life in Zambia today. We then went to a market for some souvenirs and then we had lunch, a traditional Zambian meal which was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my time.

Learning how to cook Zambian food was an interesting challenge especially the Nshima which requires a flexible wrist 😅 Overall a great experience

Very pleasant experience making a really Zambian meal in a Zambian home. Made nshima with okra and rape and beef. Very tasty meal finishing with 2 types of mango and baobab fruit. Clare showed us what to do with great kindness and enthousiasm. Worth wile

I had a great tour with Clare, she was happy, bubbly and very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the Museum and cultural village. It was great to experience the local transport and finishing with Zambian Street Food was the bomb, I highly recommend this tour.

Having not been to the museum in a long time this tour revitalized my love for local art which is always on display at the museum!

Clare’s half day tour of Lusaka was a great way to see a bit of the city, especially if you don’t have much time. She provided a knowledgeable tour of the history museum, taught me to play nsolo, introduced me to the local bus system, and helped me negotiate at the cultural center market. We then shared a delicious meal and some drinks to wrap up the tour. Being a solo traveler, I really appreciated having Clare there to negotiate transportation and share in the experience. Overall it felt more like exploring the city with a friend rather than a corporate tour.

A really great experience! Kudos to our tour guide Miss Claire who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The Lusaka National Museum was wonderful and started with a great gallery of contemporary Zambian art, sculptures and photography. My favorite part was the history of Zambia including so much that I didn’t know about the migration of tribes and languages as well as a very informative exhibit of the Slave trade in Southern Africa and how this morphed into Colonialism and then eventual Zambian independence. Truly fascinating. A great stop at the Freedom statue and then on to a fun shopping and haggling experience at the Kabwata Cutural Village! Wrapped up with a great traditional Zambian meal. Overall a very satisfying tour and only took four hours including transport and lunch. Highly recommend. Great job Claire!🤠

As a solo tourist I loved this trip. A bit of a late start but that didn't matter as we fitted it all in just under 4 hours. Clare was friendly and I felt perfectly safe with her. The museum had some artwork, as well as a good insight into the history of Zambia and Clare talked me through it all. We jumped in a taxi van and had some great food at a local spot (which I wouldn't have done if not with a local). Note: don't go to the market and buy tourist souvenirs before this trip as the local village is more of a market in huts...my mistake but still ended up buying more! Would tell others about this trip. Especially if they are nervous on their own and want to experience more of the city
