      Experience of a lifetime!
Spent 12 days in Uganda exploring the wildlife through safaris and trekking as well as experiencing the landscape on bikes through plantations, small villages, and mountains. A wonderful and unique way to experience a country. Thank you to Zaga and Robert for your wonderful guiding and support through the trip!

get some physical activity & adrenaline while engaging with the people and environment
The 3-hr bike tour was a highlight of our trip to Uganda. Our guide Michael was excellent, and the terrain, views, and communities we saw were captivating. The boat commute across the lake was a perfect way to start and finish the ride. Loved stopping for a Rolex to interact with the locals. The bikes were functional with minor maintenance items (mine had a cracked/wobby pedal and the handlebar grips were loose). Highly recommended as a way to get some physical activity while engaging with the people and environment.

2 days bike ride in Lake Mburo National Park.
A very good way to get away from the city center of Kampala for a two days cycling tour in Lake Mburo National Park. A very good and deserving stop at the equator for coffee and some pictures. Continued to lake Mburo and wow, this was more than we expected. Rides on the boarders and in the park were very very good and suitable to everyone. I recommend this for all age groups.

      Great activity in Kampala!
The bike ride was amazing! Nice to leave the busy Kampala and get some exercise in the nature. The distance of the ride was just perfect. The boat ride was nice and chill. Really recommend this trip!

      Last day of out doors
On my last day after a very long hectic schedule of work in Kampala, I decided to book this tour to try and go out doors. Starting with the boat cruise on lake Victoria to our starting point, we rode through single tracks with amazing views and scenic landscapes. Beautiful area with lots of happy and endless smiles. Totally recommend....

      Family day biking
Just as we expected our family tour to be like, we had great time with Zaga as he led us well through some of the best cycling trails. We enjoyed every single bit and we can't wait to book a longer one after our children are learned more of mtb handling.

      Perfect bike in top condition.
Rented a bike from these guys and went on a solo bike ride on one of the islands. The bike was in very good condition and actually served me well. I can recommend to anyone who would like to rent bikes from these guys.

      Giving back to community.
I joined a fundraising bike ride organized by Cycle tours Uganda across lake Victoria to raise some funds for a baby diagnosed with a liver problem and needed a transplant. The ride was such a beauty and energized by all members that joined. Looking forward to a longer tour since they also organize them. Totally recommend this to all categories of bike lovers.

      Lake Mburo experience
Just as I had thought of having a great time, right from booking my cycling tour and very good communication from Zaga, I booked the tour and we had such an amazing experience. Starting with a long car drive from Kampala to Mbarara and a stop at the beautiful equator.

      Marvellous experience
One of the best cycling safris i have gone on. Cycling through lake Mburo National park left me with memories for a whole life time. I had to cycle through great wildlife such as the giraffes, zebras, Buffalos and antelopes.

      Tour around Bukasa Island
Rented the bike and a helmet for 3 days. The bike was in a perfect condition and the service was impeccable. I went to Bukasa Island to tour the island and trace some fun routes for the next tours.

      Beautiful as expected
Very lovely cycling adventure across Lake Victoria to the countryside. Loveable roads, communities and above all, great, knowledgeable guide that kept telling me about the place and Uganda as a country. I recommend this to one who is Kampala for atheist a day.

      First time cycling in Kampala
Amazing bike ride! I went alone, hoping to make new friends and it was great. The boat ride to the peninsula is a good way to start the day and the ride had a good variety of difficult and easy bits. We had some rain in the morning but that was actually refreshing. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses for the flies!

This trip is a challenge! You need to be fit to do it. The strong sund and the bumpy roads made 70 k on the bike a 10
    Hour full day trip.

I was proud to finish. That being said, our guides was excelent. The nature was beautiful. A day to remember. Thank you.

    Kaspar.

James is an excellent tour guide. It was a tough ride, I got quite dehydrated, so make sure to bring at least 3l of water (I brought 1.5l and the tour guide had 1.5l included) as this was only just sufficient!
The falls were brilliant, and it was relaxing to rest at the falls at about the midpoint.
After the falls it was a steep climb to the Tea plantation but well worth the views following. The Rolex was the best I've had!
Would definitely book again, although the trip was slightly pricey for a student like me.

Great tip to Ssezibwa falls, which has an amazing Buganda legend behind it. Roads were nice, glad that we joined the day before the rainy season started though!
We rented bikes with Cycling Tours, which were well maintained, sturdy bikes.

A really nice way to get out of Kampala and into nature very quickly - and be sporty at the same time. Zaga is an experienced guide and knows how to adapt the pace to the level of those who join. The option to rent a bike is also very useful. I enjoyed the biking a lot and would definitely go again.

Had an amazing mountain bike ride to the water falls, a cultural site for the Buganda region in the central of Uganda.

Very good except for the rain drizzles that kept falling without stopping hence making the ride abit longer due to many stops.

I recommend this not to be done in the rainy season.

My family booked this trip and since we love cycling, we wanted to do this while still in Uganda.

This ride to the falls was abit challenging but we made it all. The falls are also spectacular not only for their beauty but also the best stories behind it.

Great trip, a reasonably tough ride given the bumpy surfaces and hilly terrain but definitely worth it. Falls were great and plenty of opportunities to stop for drinks and snacks to refuel along the way. Would recommend!

A great way to be introduced to Uganda cycling through communities, plantations and scenic views. The water falls are a special cultural site to the people in the central of Uganda.

For this bike ride, one has to be somehow fit if you wanna enjoy. a challenge you have to tackle because at the end, a great reward awaits and that the falls.

This is not a tour for the faint hearted or unprepared. Riding 74km over rough roads is extremely demanding. It is not a casual day out.
The tour itself is very basic: be prepared to bring or buy everything you need except a bike and a helmet. Frankly, I would not recommend doing it without proper knicks and possibly a Lycra Jersey. You'll feel every bump after 10 km and it gets pretty warm by mid afternoon. Still, the scenery is exceptional and you'll get a grass-roots experience of the stunning Ugandan countryside. And you get bragging rights for having survived a proper endurance test.

Hello, thank you so much for your feedback as it’s highly appreciated. Apart from the bike and helmet, one also gets 1x soft drink and 1x snack(Rolex) As stated, the ride is demanding since one really has to be prepared.
