Gorilla trekking was on our bucket list and on short notice, Twist African Safaris was able to organize and tailor an incredible safari from start to End.
Our guide Ben delivered his services in an extraordinary, pleasant, friendly manner. Ben made us feel at home. taking care of all aspects that would make our safari unforgettable. Everything was well organized from the onset, safe, with excellent guidance, explanations, and storytelling of the endless wildlife, flora, people, and local culture.
Thank you Dorothy. All together a wonderful experience we will always cherish.

Dorothy was very thorough in answering all of our questions via email before the trip. Because we were flying in right after Uganda opened back its borders after their COVID lockdown, we had many questions regarding the COVID requirements arriving and departing in the country. She also customized our 5-day tour based on our preferences. Once we arrive early in the morning at 4 am at Entebbe airport, she and our driver/guide Ben were there to greet us! Thankfully our trip went by quickly and smoothly. We missed a morning game drive and a few sights that were on the itinerary due to the traffic in Kampala, and I wished that the timing was planned out better. Otherwise, we had a great trip overall, and I highly recommend Twist Africa when traveling in East Africa.

We absolutely loved our week-long safari with Twist Africa. The itinerary was amazing and everything went very smoothly and was kept to schedule as planned. Our driver Ben was amazing and the probably the best driver and guide we have ever had. The hotels were great and we particularly loved the Silverback Lodge and the Bird's Nest on Lake Bunyonyi. The gorilla trek was one of the best discoveries we have ever experienced. Amazing!! A big thanks to Dorothy who was very professional and kind and extremely efficient in organizing everything. Finally, Uganda is a wonderful country where people are friendly and welcoming and the landscape is absolutely stunning. An unforgettable trip!

I had a great experience with Twist Africa,great communication all the way. The gorilla trekking experience was mind blowing. What an awesome way to experience the beauty of Uganda.
