On arrival at Entebbe International airport, Herbert our driver guide was ready to usher us into this paradise. He happily welcomed us, delivered us to the guest house and checked us in. He reviewed and briefed on the tour itinerary with us together. In the field, Herbert was an exceptional guide I have ever met; his driving skills and experience are unmatched. He could drive for long hours tirelessly and keeping us informed of his country history and how amazing are the people of Uganda from region to region with stories as he drove from one destination to another! He was indeed an amazing guide. We knew we were in good hands when he stopped and turned off the engine and identified a bird by call! His eye for spotting wildlife was nothing short of impressive (for what it's worth, I’m a wildlife photographer and I believe in life behind the lenses. He was intimately familiar with everything from species of animals and plants, to the terrain and how to best navigate it, as well as subtle cultural nuances, good music, and where to get great coffee! Days and money we spent in Uganda were worth it, we can’t recall a moment we were not happy throughout this holiday. We have resolved to visit Uganda again probably next year.
