We planned our own itinerary , so what was Most important for us was the guide. We interviewed quite a few former customers of different guides, and finally settled on Augustine. He got glowing recommendations from people who had been with him, and even so, he managed to exceed our expectations. He is immensely knowledgeable- not a single question we came up with, that he didn't know how to answer. He is totally honest and punctual. Whatever you agree on - is carried out to the letter. He is a great and careful driver. He is extremely friendly polite and nice. But the really impressive part is his concern for his clients wellbeing and pleasure. He takes enormous pains, with great interpersonal sensitivity, to see that you get maximum pleasure and experiences from your trip. We have been to numerous out of the way places, where we needed local guides/drivers, and have had some really good ones, but Augustine is in a league of his own.

I did a chimpanzee trekking on the 10-11 October. It was a stunning tour through the southern part of the country to reach Nyungwe national park. I've been lucky to explore the depth of national culture and enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake Kivu. Special thanks to my tour-guide Mr. Augustin, who is not only one of the best drivers I've ever met, but also a real ambassador of hospitality. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, safe and happy. Thank you very much for this unforgettable experience.

I spent two nights in the park with a full-day safari in the middle. I had a private vehicle and driver from Kigali. The journey from Kigali starts on tarmac roads and the mud roads to the park are reasonable. The hotel on the park is quiet but has a pool and great grounds, including hundreds of nesting weaver birds. Food and prices are reasonable. The safari was brilliant. Clementine was a friendly and informative guide and I managed to see most of the species on the park. The road on the park are challenging and very bumpy, but that just adds to the fun! The overall costs including the car, hotel charges, park fees and guide fees are moderate, but as an experience I can definitely recommend this safari.

Just returned from one day overnight Gorilla trek in Volcano Mountains Rwanda! It is truly amazing. It is expensive but please know that the money goes into protecting these amazing animals and to increase their habitat which sadly, is decreasing! I highly suggest using Uber Luxe safari. They are true professionals and you will not be disappointed! It really is a trip of a lifetime and if you will not regret it!

We took this tour with 1000 Hills Safaris LTD. It was a great program . The guide driver Augustine was a great tour guide and he had an in depth experience with the places we visited . He took good care of us during the entire tour. The vehicle they used was a comfortable SUV. He arrived at our hotel on time to pick us up. I would highly recommend this company as well as the tour guide Augustine to all my acquaintances. Great job!

Beautiful Lodge on the edge of Lake Kivu, Stunning views, I was staying with my Daughter and family in Rubengera, so we went a for dinner at this venue three times. Food was good, although the menu is rather limited, but considering the remoteness, I’m not surprised, Pretty Rustic Hotel.

Walking along the Ingishigishigi trail was an experience of a life time. High range of Biodiversity and the canopy walkway is an experience that can't be described with words. You need to feel for yourself.

The team at Rwanda Travel thought of everything and more. The trip itself was excellent and the advice and recommendation given was spot on - Accommodation, quality of safari and general level service excellent. All in all we felt it was good value for money and we are now planning our next trip in 2019!

We were very pleased with Rwanda Travel. We used their services to visit Virunga to see the silverback gorillas and the golden monkeys, as well as for two separate day trips to Akagera. orgene secured silverback gorilla permits for us before we even arrived, met us at our Kigali hotel and introduced us to the drivers. The drivers were pleasant and very safety-minded, the vehicles were comfortable and well-maintained, and we had a great time. Thanks, Orgene, for your great service.

i just want to say sorry for delay i could write this review in 2 week back but i did not, so I don't want to speak to Tour Guide Service was excellent made me speechless and turns me into storyteller. But i want to talk to Nyungwe national park where you can find interesting animals and water falls! One of the special things here is canopy work where you cross the mountains by canopy bridge! Here you can find animals which are only found here in Rwanda and no elsewhere. Nyungwe national park is located in south-west of Rwanda. And it touches on 4 districts which are Nyaruguru, Nyamagabe in south and Rusizi and Nyamasheke in western province. unfortunately i had a shortage of time we could not spend entire week in nyungwe to explore everything in there but i am planning my return soon. Rwanda Travel organized our 4x4 transport from Musanze when we went gorilla trekking and when we visited Dian Fossey tomb. We received great service from our drivers and especially from the manager Onesmus, who was very professional and helpful. He even kindly offered us some coffee whilst we waited for the rain to stop when we went to book the transport. thank you Rwanda Travel Team.

Our guide/driver Eric is one of the best. He spent several days with us taking us through our stops in Rwanda and Uganda. Etienne speaks multiple languages and is well connected with the vendors and establishments. Eric far exceeded our expectations of a guide/driver.
