We reached Quest safaris after an internet search without any prior reference by friends or family to organise our one week long trip to Sossusvelie and Walvis Bay,Namibia. We were booked to take a baloon ride in Sossusvelie on August 29th but due to strong winds the baloon company cancelled the flight. We chose to take a refund rather than a baloon ride in Walvis Bay two days later. The refund has not been given to us even after four months have elapsed. I have been in touch with Fillemon who booked us, met us at the Windhoek Airport and arranged all our bookings. He has been replying my WhatsApp messages most reluctantly and very infrequently. In my phone conversation a couple of months back he assured a payment in a week. Nothing has happened in the interim. The amount for two is said to be USD 1040 as per the baloon ride booking agents at the Sossusvelie Lodge where we stayed. The One star is for the good service rendered by our driver and generally satisfactory hotel bookings. This review has been written most reluctantly as Namibia is a beautiful country with beautiful people whom the rest of the world must help out of its poverty.

Our tour with Fillemon was amazing! We did Sossusvlei, Etosha, Swakop and Spitzkoppe. Camping was great! Fillemon did everything to make our time unforgettable. Thanks for that again! And definitely see you again!

My friends and I went on a 7 day tour with Fillemon, which was absolutely amazing! We made stops in Sossusvlei, Etosha, Swakopmund and Spitzkoppe. Fill provided everything we needed for camping, the sleeping bags and mattresses were super comfy. He is great to hang out with and a very experienced driver, we felt safe at all times. Everything was very well organized. Fill also told us a lot about Namibia. We had a great time and would totally recommend to book a tour with him! 😊

Had to book last-minute transport from Windhoek to Maun as my initial operator was "suddenly" booked out. Quest Tours helped me out, Fillemon is very responsive (which is important in these situations) and all was perfect. Thanks to all, including Mathew, the reliable driver.

6 Day Safari in Namibia My family and I booked a last minute tour with Quest in Namibia from the city of Windhoek to Waterberg, Etosha, walvis bay and Sossusvlei we had so much fun in Namibia thanks to fillemon who organized our tour.

We booked a tour with Quest in Namibia starting from Windhoek Etosha, Damaraland, Swakopmund, Sossusvlei and fish river canyon me and my sister had an amazing experience in Namibia Mike was a great guide through our journey we highly recommend this Company.

I really wanted to help this company as they are clearly starting up. I was in communication with Fillemon. The rate he gave would keep going up even though the changes with our schedule were minor. Something to be aware of. After we were picked up from the airport, we were driven to a parking lot to settle our payment even though we were told to give this to the driver upon arrival. We felt very uncomfortable since we thought we would be going to an office as the driver said. Instead a guy (Benny) and a woman met us and demanded the full amount which we didn't have at the moment. We agreed to pay half then and the other half two days later to the driver. Fillemon convinced me to add the sandwich harbour tour. Day before we asked what time, nothing. Morning day of we asked again, still nothing. Before we arrived to swakopmund, we asked our driver yet again if he heard anything, still nothing. Even though, we knew that Fillemon called him midday to make sure to get the rest of the money. At this point, we were nervous about not being able to go on the tour so we decided to book with our hotel which promptly confirmed for the afternoon. We then messaged Fillemon that we are going with another company. Within 10 mins he had messaged us that we have a tour at 8am in the morning. This is at 8pm. We have been requesting the afternoon tour since before we arrived due to the fact that we were in the car for 9 hours and needed to rest. After a few more back and forths. He finally said understood so we thought everything was settled. But then next morning he messaged saying we now have to pay the 100 percent cancellation fee or we can take the now afternoon tour. We promptly said no as we said the night before we have confirmed with another company already. We didn't prepay as in my mind I felt that something was going to go awry. But we were worried that we would get abandoned the next day since we are half way through the trip at this point. Thankfully that didn't happen. But it made us very nervous. Deadvlei. Our 4x4 turned out to not work so we ended up getting stuck on the sand within the first half km. Driver didn't know what to do and turns out he didn't let enough air out to drive on sand on top of the four wheel drive not working. We were lucky as the only guy in the parking lot had a tow and got us out. We got the dawn tour with our hotel which was great! Got us in and out no problem. All in all it was fine but I would recommend to drive yourself or hire quest only for point a to point b transfers. I wouldn't get any tours with them at all as it seems Fillemon is just a middle man. I suggest getting the game drives with your hotel. Namibia tours and safaris were great for the sandwich harbour tour and is a legit company with a storefront in swakopmund. We met the owner as well who was one of the drivers and got another stuck jeep out.

This is my first solo company tour and I felt so safe with Mike, my driver and guide. He was the most gentle, courteous and kind gentleman in Namibia.I did a personalized 5 day tour. He made the experience beautiful. I love the tour except for the long distance drive in between activities and nothing in between interesting to visit or see to break the drive.

Airport Transfer from Etosha to Windhoek Airport. The driver (Filmon) was a great conversation partner and drove very responsibly. Seemed very knowledgeable of Namibia and surrounding countries. Although in the setup of the transfer there was a misunderstanding regarding to the date (he came one day early), this did not cause any inconvenience, which I highly appreciate!

Had a wonderful experience with Quest tours. I was able to visit Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and the canyon. Took loads of pictures and saw so many animals along the way! Beautiful scenery! Once in a lifetime experience. Everything went well and was efficient.

Fillemon was responsive to my requests about car transfer from Maun to Windhoek. The driver who picked us up was Matheus and he was great!! From just a car transfer we ended up engaging him for a 5 days ride around Namibia. We enjoyed his company and he recommended things to do and see what we won't otherwise know about!

This was one of my best trip to the coast ever. Quest Tours and Safari’s punctuality is top notch and I can say it’s one of the best travel agent. I like the flexibility of the driver (Mr Martin) very calm and fun guy. I would over and over again book with Quest Tours and Safari.

The quest team was absolutely amazing. They told me I will have fun in Namibia and it exceeded my expectations. I was met with professionalism and fun in equal measure from Emma and Fillemon. Will I return? Hell yes! Namibia welcomed me with open arms, but Emma and Fill opened the door and held it open. Best travel experience yet!

The worst travel experience ever! I booked a Day trip to the Himba tribe and got formal confirmation for both the date & price. Based on the confirmation I proceeded with booking flights and accommodation in Namibia. The day prior to the departure I got a message informing me that the initial price of NAD 3,000 we agreed upon has changed to NAD 5,000. This was shocking, totally unprofessional and disrespectful. The last minute changes in the price showed their greedyness and cunning tactics to trap de client. This travel agency is a shame for the Namibian tourism industry and should be stopped acting. It tarnishes the image of a beautiful country such as Namibia. Happily I got another travel agency which took me gladly to the Himba tribe for the initial price of NAD 3,000. Guys, stay away from these unreliable voracious hyenas at Quest Tours and Safaris!!!
