We had our big game fishing with captain Vic yesterday 10 January 2024. We are so lucky we have chosen Goldenwave company !! We appreciate professional work of captain Vic and fisherman Jason! The boat is really comfortable and clean, there was a lot of beverages and sandwiches. And the best thing I have caught my first marlin that weighs 225 kilos!! It was a great job of our crew, about 2 hours to catch the big marlin!! Thank u guys! You gave us unforgettable memories and emotions!

We made a Big Game Fishing Trip with the very experienced Captain Vic and his crew Jason and Ludovico! The boat is also perfectly equiped for all types of fishes👍👌 They made us an unforgetable day at sea with perfect conditions - boat, captain, crew, wheather - with a sucsessful finish, when we caught some Tunas and in the end a beautiful Sailfish! 🎉👌😉 We all where happy and the red flag could be set as a sign for sucsessful Marlin fishing at one of the best spots for that worldwide!! I wanted to go fishing one afternoon during my vacation. After Golden Wave appealed to me the most, I messaged the guys! I immediately received a very nice message and a day later I was already on board the Golden Wave II! The guys are great and the trip off the coast of Mauritius was awesome! Victor and his crew provide an amazing day fishing. The whole experience was incredible! Great fishing, really knowledgeable and patient teachers, the whole experience was great fun and we caught some amazing fish. The day was so good, that I had to book another trip before the end of my holiday!

We ordered our trip more than one month in advance and rey thing was great. We started trip at 6 a.m. and had two say on time. We chose the trip where we could dive with dolphins do the fishing and snorkel. However during the journey some of his friend called him that they saw whales. So we decided to swap snorkelling for seeing the whales. We saw many whales from short distance and it was amazing experience. We had been fishing for several hours and caught more than 20 fish f.e. wahoo and tuna. The trip was incredible and we would recommend it to everyone.

We had a great experience with Captain Vic. The catch was good and the Equipment is in very good shape. The support and the organization was very professionell. Thx for this nice day on the water.

I booked this this trip with Vic and his crew two months in advance and was after considerable research and deliberation. Absolutely no regrets! Vic was incredibly easy to communicate with and prompt with replies and queries. The day started at 5:55am and I was made to feel very comfortable and at ease by Vic and Ludvic. They are two incredibly experienced and interesting guys - clearly very knowledgeable about game fishing and the island as a whole. I was privileged to see Spinner Dolphins and although we only hooked a single, yet large Skipjack Tuna, which was an UNBELIEVABLE thrill, I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Vic and Ludvic did absolutely everything they could to entice a further bite, utilising all of their various ‘teaser’ equipment and knowledge but it was simply one of those days. I’d do it all again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Vic and his crew are absolute pros. The equipment and the guy’s attitudes are great, have full confidence that they will give you the best chance of catching a fish or seeing dolphins/whales. Everything was well arranged, well explained, and I had a great day of fishing one day, and a tour with dolphin watching another day. If (when) I return to Mauritius, the first thing I’ll do is book a trip with Golden Wave. You’re a cool guy Vic.

Best fishing experience of my life!! Vic is a great captain and fisherman, with his crew Ludvic, he was very responsible, fun and polite. He did everything at his hands to make it a great and experience, and he did it!! We fished Hughes Dorados!!! If you want to go fishing in Mauritius, you need to book it with Golden Wave!!

We left with the plan to find some whales off the coast. Out of the pass we met with a pod of dolphins. Cool start. As for the whales we finally got a glimpse of them after a long search spaced with some fishing action. Ending on a really great dive with the dolphins again in Tamarin Bay. Whales aren’t easy to come by this time of the year but Capt Vic made it happen and being the fishing freak he is he had a let out a line now and again that proved successful. So a great morning out all in all.

Victor is a professional fisherman and an experienced captain, would love to go fishing with him again!
