Nuradeen and our driver George made our trip magical. The whole experience to Ghana was a trip of a lifetime. Nuradeen was accommodating and allows me to experience Ghana in a way I can’t wait to tell all my friends and family about. We look forward to bringing our friends and family back on 2 years. Nurudeen made the trip quite easy, expertly navigating a difficult trek and taking us to the best destinations. He had taken the time to book tours at each place (Crocodile pond, Pikworo slave camp, and Pio Palace), and was quite attentive to our needs and many questions. Superb tour, 10/10, highly recommend!

We had a bespoke itinerary created by TripAfrica Tours. We selected the things we wanted to experience and sent it off to them, Nuru-deen responded very promptly with everything we wanted in the package! Communication throughout was great, and we felt very attended to, Nuru-Deen accompanied us most of the time and during meals and driving he spent the time teaching us about the culture and answering any questions we had. Some places we visited we wanted to speak to local people, learn their culture and try some experiences, Nuru-Deen accommodated this, and we were always very welcomed by people and felt that everyone was friendly and accepting of taking time out of their day to show us/teach us what they were doing and how they lived. It was truly a whole new way of experiencing a trip. We did safari, explored history, visited villages, had a beach day (some relaxation in the middle of a fun packed busy trip!), visited the monkey sanctuary, held a snake!!, did a hike and took a dip in the tallest waterfall in Ghana, saw the night-life, and so much more. I really can't recommend TripAfrica tours enough! Also a shout out to George the driver! Very friendly and made us feel welcome from the first airport pick up, as well as joining in with us on some experiences along with Nuru-Deen, which just made the trip so much fun. TripAfrica Tours created an amazing bespoke itinerary! Ghana has so much to offer, it really felt like we had multiple holidays all in one in just 9 days. Safari, beach, waterfalls, history and the people are so wonderful and welcoming. So many highlights and it was great to have Nuru-Deen accompanying us, providing so many insights to Ghana and giving us opportunities to speak with locals unprompted, to learn about their life and way of living. A wonderful trip, much more than any other holiday I have been on!

I was last in Ghana as a young boy with my family, between 1965 to 1970. So, nearly 60 years ago. I had been wanting to go back for some time, with my wife, and after researching several tour companies, finally decided to do the journey with TripAfrica. I'm so glad we did because we had the best time, were looked after extremely well, and have made new Ghanaian friends in the process. We opted for a 15-nights comprehensive tour as a couple, so were not part of group. This format worked so well for us that we are looking at doing this on future trips in other parts of the world. The trip brought back lots of good memories from the time my family lived in Ghana. Visits included Mole National Park (we flew from Accra to Tamale; so much better than hours and hours of driving to get there), Larabanga Mosque, Elmina and Cape Coast slave forts, Assin Manso Slave River site, Lake Volta and Akosombo dam, Shai Hills Forest Reserve, Aburi Gardens, Kumasi including the fort and military museum plus Kente weaving and Adinkra printing villages, Kakum National Park, Winneba beach (a personal request), all the key sites in Accra. We even got to meet the current owners of the house we lived in all those years ago; a particuarly emotional experience. Even though we did a lot, we never felt rushed and had plenty of rest time. This was just as well, because Ghana experienced a heatwave of 38 degrees centigrade while we were there! A big plus was that every place we stayed at had a swimming pool, which we made full use of. The best places were the resort hotels at Elmina and Lake Volta; they were fabulous. In conclusion, we were so pleased we finally made the trip to Ghana, and that TripAfrica organised everthing so well. Let’s start with…Nurudeen and his team are amazing!!!! If I could give him 100 stars I would! Nurudeen is warm, knowledgeable, funny, open and very professional. He anticipates needs and adjusts plans if required. My friend and I are vegan and he found us a vegan restaurant at every stage. I would use his services again without reservation!!!!! PS…..he is a wonderful photographer as well 😝

This was one of the most educational, exciting and experiential tours I’ve ever taken! Our guides, Nurudeen and Ezekiel guided our group through the sights, sounds and tastes of Ghana. We travelled from Accra to Kumasi, then Cape Coast, experiencing all that each time of those areas had to offer. Each day brought a new adventure, from hiking, to ceremonial naming, to shopping and, even attending a cooking class. This team provided the absolute best experience! Book it now!

My trip and guide were both amazing . My guide and driver were both knowledgeable and thoughtful. I felt safe and cared for without being smothered. We went on both walking and riding tours and were lucky to see several elephants close up.

As soon as I was confirmed, our guide Nurudeen got in touch with me. He stayed in constant contact at all times. Once we met up with him, he took care of every single detail. We had night safaris, day safaris, walking safaris and a canoe safari! Our room at the wildlife refuge overlooked a watering hole where we woke up to elephants swimming! We went there on our walk and were very close to them! (But there is an armed Ranger who accompanied all visitors so we were always safe.) It was an amazing experience in a fabulous place. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We could not have had a better time! If there are any criticisms, it is that the motel could definitely add some variety to the menu and a little stronger water pressure in the showers. Minor inconveniences for the adventure of a lifetime. We felt taken care of and safe at all times. But we also felt like we really were in the wild. It was perfect. There were also side trips to the oldest mosque in Ghana and a shea butter making village! Thank you, TripAfrica and Nerudeen. I highly recommend this safari!
