- stefanestephenm0 contributionsHome just miles away from home. Insights from Ethiopia, the hidden beauty of Ethiopia that the media doesn’t show us.First time leaving my country and definitely went to a beautiful country of Ethiopia. Since the very first moment I landed in Addis, Gashaw and his team was very good to me and our team of 36 people. They went to see us settle at the hotel and took us to the beautiful country. From the Unity Park to Adwa Museum. Him and his team shared stories of the battlefield between Italy and Ethiopia, from the horses mouth. One thing that would make me remember them is how they conducted the tour. They made sure they make everyone of us understand everything. We went to get cultural experiences, clothes and the food. He made the team to love Injera as some were not familiar with the food. The team is very much dedicated. I highly recommend people to work with them. Went to AU, UN , embassy of South Africa in Ethiopia and many other places that were educational to the team. I am already planning for my next trip to Ethiopia, they will be there to make the trip look easier.Written September 20, 2024
- Gersh O0 contributionsSEEING ADDIS ABABA DURING EASTERI arrived in Ethiopia during the Coptic Easter holiday, but in spite of this, the tour organisers made a good effort to show me the city. Entoto was impressive, but Marcato was scanty due to the season. I had a bonus visit to the AU Headquarters. I also met Lucy at the National Museum.Written May 15, 2024
- Gersh O0 contributionsAN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCEI had one of my most exciting travel experiences visiting Ethiopia, but the icing on the cake was Lalibela. The flight to Lalibela stopping over at Gonda added more value. As a civil engineer, in those churches, I saw a confluence of architecture, sculpture, engineering, and geology. My experience with the tour company Walk-In-Ethiopia makes me want to do this again.Written May 14, 2024

Very diverse program: fresh air in the mountains, learn abortus Ethiopia's rich and proud history. Also Merkato and Tomaco Coffee in the old French La Gare area was Lovely. Special thanks to guide Gashaw who passionately answered all my questions all Day.Written December 9, 2023

- todd0604700 contributionsA whistle stop tour of Adis AbabaGashaw our guide met us at the airport and took us on a whistle stop tour of Adis Ababa. We visited the museum where an informative guide introduced us to the back ground of Ethiopia as well as meeting Lucy. We then drove to a vantage point top of Entoto Mountain where the views down over the city are breath taking. We had a coffee stop there too. Next was a drive around the Mercato Africas largest market. A visit to Topocas for coffee, try a Spreece. Topped off our visit with a cultural show which included authentic music & dancing whilst eating amazing local cuisine washed down with honey wine. We highly recommend Gashaw , he is friendly, full of information and made our trip a special one. Even dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the evening. Thank you Gashaw 🙏🏼Written October 8, 2023
- L7262GTmelaniep0 contributionsPerfect day trip in nature!I had a great time on this Day Trip tour from Addis to Lake Ziway - my tour guide Bre was super kind, knowledgable and accommodating. We saw birds, hippos, local communities and incredible scenery. I would highly recommend this tour - even for solo travelers like myself. The driver was great, safe and on-time. The drive from Addis to the lake is about 2 hours, but the landscape along the way was incredible. It really made my time in Addis special.Written May 8, 2023
- R5203MHmelaniep0 contributionsIncredible day! This tour was the best experience in Ethiopia. I had the best day - my guide was very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. The drive was about 2 hours from Addis to the Lake, but scenery of the lowlands farms was so beautiful it made the drive an experience too. I felt super safe with the driver as well, he drove very safe the whole day. Every part of the tour was the perfect amount of time and we saw so many animals, birds, people and nature spots.Written May 7, 2023
