I had a great time on this Day Trip tour from Addis to Lake Ziway - my tour guide Bre was super kind, knowledgable and accommodating. We saw birds, hippos, local communities and incredible scenery. I would highly recommend this tour - even for solo travelers like myself. The driver was great, safe and on-time. The drive from Addis to the lake is about 2 hours, but the landscape along the way was incredible. It really made my time in Addis special.

This tour was the best experience in Ethiopia. I had the best day - my guide was very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. The drive was about 2 hours from Addis to the Lake, but scenery of the lowlands farms was so beautiful it made the drive an experience too. I felt super safe with the driver as well, he drove very safe the whole day. Every part of the tour was the perfect amount of time and we saw so many animals, birds, people and nature spots.

It would have been impossible to visit such a large and complex city in one day. Walk in Ethiopia Tour and Travel was able to organise a great tour, at a very affordable price, with a very serious but professional and friendly guide. It was a great tour. I just had a day-long stopover in Addis and wanted to explore the city a little bit. This tour was a really great, informative day out that’s given me an entirely new insight to Ethiopia and Addis! Minile was friendly, overflowing with knowledge and really helpful. As a solo female traveller I felt really safe and supported. Definitely recommend!

We had a great time in the Omo Valley all around Jinka although we have tightened time we visit a lot of tribes like Caro, Bena, Hamer... and including the Bena market on the street. People of the Omo Valley are warm heart welcoming people with their culture me and friend had a great Experience. special thanks the organizer Gashu and Eyu and the great Your guider and best Photographer Dr. Hamer with his driver. 5-night driving trip to Bahir Dar for 2 nights, Lalibela for 2 nights then 1 night in Kombolcha then returning back to Addis Ababa. Visited Ura Kidane Mihret Monastery and Church on Lake Tana by boat, visited Biue Nile Falls. Visited Lalibela monolithic rock Churches. Travelled by road in late model Toyota Hilux LX 4x4 wagon. Vehicle was in very good condition and excellent driver (Mele). All entrance fees to sites, tour guides, Bed and Breakfast and fuel costs covered. No additional charges except for lunch / dinner and drinks / refreshments. We wanted to travel by road to see the countryside and although the roads were terrible in places, well worth it to see the spectacular countryside. Cannot recommend this company highly enough and my wife and I will use this Company again for future tours in Ethiopia.

Have Don this tour this Sunday our guide MELAKU is brilliant. His knowledge is superb and He also made the tour with a lots of fun and he make you feel all the time confertab and relax, the Ethiopian raw meat was great experience and we had too a grill meat with honey with ,our break fast is extraordinary. No word to say it was such an amazing day with walk in Ethiopia Tours . Thank you for making our day a perfectly.

Dear All, Beware of this travel agency worst experience ever we never get to the site cause the car had no suspension and a nightmare for our back both my husband and I. We requested to turn back to Addis he refused and try to convinced that we honor we lose our money finally he refused to refund or even Compromise and Keep saying that the car is Ethiopian standard not European and by the way we lived in Senegal so just to avoid them He never saw the car he rented to another travel company and never gave a dam about our concerns. We lost a whole day of vacation for disrespected and screwed of 320€.

I highly recommend this tour! A complete 10/10. My tour guide Melaku was professional and knowledgeable and as a plus he speaks perfect English, which was helpful as I am a U.S. traveler. Additionally, I am a solo female traveler and I felt 100% safe at all times! The areas we explored were beautiful and the food and coffee experience was a delight. The church was absolutely astonishing and the the owners were extremely flexible and allowed time in the schedule for me to do a mini photo shoot in traditional Ethiopian attire. We completed a hike that led to the Portuguese Bridge. This area had the most amazing views, I mean BREATHTAKING!! Please wear comfy shoes. Next to the bridge was a lovely Ethiopian restaurant with excellent and polite staff. We even saw local wildlife! After lunch, I tried Ethiopian beer and Ethiopian liquor with the locals who were very welcoming. All in all, if you have a chance you don’t want to miss this tour!!!

Prior attempts to make email contact to confirm pick up location were unsuccessful. Upon arriving at Bole International Airport I had no phone service and so was assisted to contact tour company first by information desk in terminal, then hotel shuttle drivers in parking area. After the confusing pick up in airport car park I was driven through Addis Ababa then 110km over terrible roads to Debre Libanos. The driver and tour guide were kind, friendly and informative, and I felt 100% safe at all times. I opted first for lunch on arrival at Ethiopia-German Park and enjoyed an authentic Ethiopian meal. A short hike took us over the Portuguese Bridge with magnificent views of the gorge and blue Nile tributary. I was told that if attending during rainy season you will expect to see spectacular waterfalls. A short drive took us to the monastery and museum displaying ancient texts and religious relics. Driving away we stopped to photograph a family of baboons fossicking for food in forest by the roadside. The guide was a proud and passionate patriot, enthusiastic about history of Ethiopia, highly informative, and his grasp of English was excellent. I am glad I took the trouble for this tour during a long layover in Addis Ababa for a small encounter with Ethiopian hospitality, countryside, religious dedication and beautiful wildlife. It did however involve about five or six hours of driving for only a couple hours experience and it was the interaction with a great guide that made this tour worthwhile.

This is one place you visit to get a good grasp of Ethiopian history. The guides are good and have great knowledge of the place. Over the weekends the place gets crowded as families come to this spot. It is a great family place.

I got to see all the main famous sights of Addis Ababa that I wanted to see and enjoyed learning about the culture and history of the country and the city. I felt very safe on this tour, which made me feel relaxed and I enjoyed the whole experience. Excellent door-to-door service.

Visiting the sites was amazing. My driver, who spoke very little English, was great and did everything possible to make my trip pleasant. Unfortuanately the guide promised whn I booked did not show and we had to make use of local guides a each site. Their English wasn’t good enough to answer questions. Also no lunch was included. I enjoyed my trip - but not having a guide was ert dissapointing.
