About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- TravellingBeemers0 contributionsMadikwe ReserveThe best game reserve ever, fabulous game drives and very knowledgeable drivers. The room overlooked a waterhole so we saw animals everywhere. This is the best reserve we have ever been toWritten October 4, 2024
- TravellingBeemers0 contributionsYou must go to MadikweFabulous place. We saw more animals there than we have seen in any other reserve in Africa. Our guide, Arthur was fantasticWritten March 6, 2024
- 647mikef0 contributionsSeeing the big 5 up closeHighly recommended. Seeing animals at lodge watering hole and drive afterwards was excellent. Guide went out of his way to try and get on the trail of the lions.Written October 30, 2023
- richardwE347TZ0 contributionsGreat wildlife experience near GaboroneEverything was wonderful. The history tour was very informative. The guide was knowledgeable and exuded pride in his country! The guide for the river tour was very helpful in making an extra effort to spot Crocs and birds and other animals. It was a beautiful day, and a very nice experience. The game tour was wonderful. Again, the guide was very friendly and helpful, and made a great effort find and get us near animals. Because of his skill, we saw rhinos up close. And we were able to see a group of five giraffes in the bush, feeding, as well as zebras. It was a great experience. The restaurant at the Mokolodi reserve was very nice. We were able to eat outdoors, and watch Impalas and warthogs. The food was very good, and the prices were very reasonable. All in all, a wonderful day!Written August 3, 2023

- Zarko D0 contributionsGood time in Mokodoli and Ngotwane riverAnother great day with Mustafa from Infinite Tours Botswana. It was good to see that giraffe successfully breed in Mokolodi, the park is really big and animals have lots of place to enjoy and hide. After good lunch, it was nice visiting vultures, there are not many places where you can see them from very close distance. Mokolodi's zoologist was also very knowledgeable about reptiles. The second part of the day was also great, sailing Ngotwane river, that's border between Botswana and South Africa. It was great opportunity to see monkeys, Nile crocks and numerous African birds.Written September 20, 2022
- Zarko D0 contributionsGreat day at Madikwe orginized by Infinite Tours Botswana.Infinite Tours Botswana does great work organizing this one day trip to South Africa, to Madikwe Game Reserve. Mustafa is great guide, knowledgeable about Botswana's history, society and culture. The border crossing is also very smooth and easy. At Madikwe you can expect great outdoor lunch, while watching wild animals around water hole. There is the pool, if you want to cool before game drive. Drivers are also great, showing the effort to find and approach animals, some of them likely trying to hide. At the end, you can have a break and enjoy a drink on the ground in quite and safe part of the reserve. Attached is the pic of lioness, we've seen four of them from very close distance.Written September 19, 2022
- Departure441128842910 contributionsGreat Tour around the nature reservesOur guide, Mustafa, was professional and friendly. One part of our tour was not opened so a substitution was made for us. While the Mokolodi Nature Reserve was fun, my absolute favorite part was the Crocodile Pools River Safari. We had a great time! Thank you!Written September 18, 2022
- hj202210 contributionsLook no further than Infinite ToursInfinite Tours is a top notch operation. Everything went perfectly. My friends also did the arts & craft tour and raved about it. Madikwe & Tau Lodge were spectacular. I had been on safari day trips before and this one was infinitely better.Written August 7, 2022

This so called Game Reserve is a fairly small bit of land around some pond, at the time of our visit full of construction work. There are no big cats - they are in another reserve near Gaborone. The vehicle we were driven around in was a mini bus with small windows, dirty windows that is, which made all pictures taken very blurry. There was no water for the passengers at offer. Our driver was neither talkative nor knowledegable - he called dassies rabbits for instance.
The part which should have been the City Tour was cut down to a visit of the 3 Chiefs Monument. The Parliament Building is closed on weekends, the National Museum was closed due to renovations, and the Market didn't materialise, wasn't even mentioned.
We were given a free lunch at the restaurant next to the Botswana Craft Center, which was nice but not very informative.

Thank you for your review and we will have your concerns taken into consideration to better the experience of this tour in future. As indicated Gaborone game reserve is home to some antelopes and other small game animals. Rock hyraxes can also be called rock dassies or rock rabbits. There is construction taking place within the Game Reserve but the reserve still remains open. The market is the craft shop at Botswana Craft where we allow visitors to shop for some crafts.
