About
This is similar to the Flying Fox but here the cable is not horizontal it is at an extreme angle so once you let go you accelerate downhill at speeds of over 100km/h. It is extremely exhilarating and unbelievably fast. This can be done single or tandem. It is also twice the distance as flying fox.

- Y8940FJpeterh0 contributionsYou gotta go to Chobe!OK we did a custom 9 day tour (Vic Falls, Chobe, Maun, Okavango) not the 13 day tour. But the comments are the same... Falcon was amazing! Very professional and always fast to respond. We were coordinating groups from Sydney and Montreal with two different languages. No problem! We made lots of changes. No problem! We phoned their head office in Vic Falls for a chat. No problem! Our agent, Takudzwa, was wonderful. Highly recommended. As for the trip... Victoria Falls was a little dry but still astounding. Maun and Okavango were in drought and very hot (42C). But still a good amount of game. Lots of lion. Recommend staying at least as far in as Chiefs Island. But the MUST DO was Chobe. We have done lots of game drives in Africa. This was astounding! Wonderful lodges, excellent games drives (land and water), so much to see! This was a trip of a lifetime. Thank you Flacon Safaris!Written January 24, 2024

- Jukka_Lehti0 contributionsAmazing custom planned Botswana safariThis was our 1st time visiting Botswana and we wanted get the most out of it. I am a keen photographer and when I contacted Falcon Safaris I told them this and asked for ideas for8-10 nights itinerary. We had already wanted to end our safari on a houseboat. Also told our marvellous agent Gertrude Mtizwa, our wanted time of travel as well as budget. In no time she came back to us with a perfect itinerary including 3 nights in Okavango Delta (Delta Camp), followed by 3 nights in Savuti (Camp Savuti) and ending to Chobe Princess houseboat. We were very pleased with her clear, and easy to read offer, which had all costs visible in excel sheet, so we knew exactly what we are paying for. We flew intercontinental to Johannesburg and then Maun, bush plane from there to Delta, flew from there to Savuti and there to Kasane. All bush flights and other transfers were included and everything worked like a charm. After fixing our travel dates we got invoice which we paid wire transfer and a couple of days later got confirmation of payment. Communication with Gertrude was very pleasant and she was attentive to our messages. And what a safari she did put together for us! This was our 7th time in Southern/Eastern Africa and our wish was to experience something different as well as nice photography opportunities. Both wishes were exceeded in all ways. In every camp the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Our guides were absolutely second to none and they all took my photo enthusiasm in account when planning the activities. We did walking safaris in Delta Camp, very exciting experience to be on foot for the 1st time. Our guide Fish was stunning on telling stories of animals, tracking their footprints, showing us the magic he had learnt living in the area since a child. We even managed the see a lioness from say 25 m away -a cherry of our stay :) In Savuti camp we did normal game drives twice away, and got super lucky to have Gabriel as our driver guide. Gabby was excellent driver and handled the vehicle in soft sandy areas extremely great, but he was even better spotter ! We got lions (prides of 17 and 16 !) , wild dogs (pack of 13) leopardness (2 individuals) and even two dung beetles among all other encounters. Respect for this young guy. Chobe Princess was marvellous little boat, with great crew and chef. Safaris were 3 times a day made in a tender boat and again we cannot phrase enough our guide Alfred. Those eyes saw absolutely everything, from tiny birds to bubbles of hippos and lionesses in a distance walking to our way. We can highly recommend Falcon Safaris and encourage you to tell special wishes or requests you might have when planning your safari. Oh one thing, my wife was very happy being a vegetarian, in every camp chefs took extra care of her and her meals. Thank you Gertrude and thank you to each and every one involved in our memorable safari! Jukka & SariWritten November 15, 2023
- Pioneer270910435700 contributions5 Days Victoria Fall and Chobe PackageA great overall experience. The package was easy to arrange via email from the UK. Takudzwa Mhanda was very helpful with quick responses to emailed queries and many changes. Credit card payment made easily via the link provided. All the arrangements provided as agreed. The local staff were friendly and very helpful. Polite in particular was wonderful and acted as our guide for Victoria Fall, Boat Captain for the Zambezi Sunset River Cruise and driver for our transfer to Botswana border. Would highly recommendWritten September 13, 2023
- cpl17750 contributionsExcellent private multi-day multi-city tourWe chose Falcon Safari for a multi-day multi-city tour starting in Harare and ending in Victoria Falls. It was a 7 night, 8 day tour, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results! From start to finish, they took care of every detail and made everything amazing for the entire trip. They also made it very easy to plan before we even arrived in Zimbabwe, and we were able to do everything over email. We were also able to pay by credit card, which we really appreciated because not every tour company will allow you to do that! Others that we have gone with have asked us to do bank transfers, which can be difficult depending on who you bank with. Takudzwa was our main point of contact and helped us with every aspect of our booking. He remained in constant contact with us throughout the trip to make sure that everything was going smoothly, and when we had some changes that we wanted to make, he made them quickly and they were always perfect. At one point I voiced a request to change one of our hotels before the trip started, and he ended up booking us at an amazing hotel that we were absolutely thrilled with! Our drivers throughout the trip that were provided by Falcon Safaris were always incredibly pleasant and very knowledgeable. Even on the very long drive from Antelope park to Hwange, our driver Brian entertained us with all kinds of local knowledge and local stories. Lucky, he also knew where all the restrooms were! Newton was another driver for a different leg of the trip and was quite entertaining as well. To our surprise, the wonderful customer service started even in the airport! An expediter met us and escorted us all the way through customs to the waiting vehicle and Brian, our driver. It was very helpful, and if you have never used an expeditor before, they really make things go fast! We had no idea one would be waiting, but was a nice thing to discover upon landing and exiting the plane. All of the vehicles that were provided were in wonderful working condition and very comfortable. All of them had working seatbelts, strong air conditioning, and plenty of room for luggage. All of our drivers were very safe as well, and never took any kind of additional risk. They always drove with respect for us their clients, as well as other drivers on the road. All the kudos go to Takudzwa for his excellent care. We had a great time, and didn't have a single worry throughout the trip. We would absolutely book with falcon safaris again and highly recommend them overall.Written May 27, 2023

- KeithP6190 contributionsChobe Safari Lodge and TransfersEverything we booked, Chobe Safari Lodge and a transfer from Zambia to Chobe, we're organised well. - Sunny S0 contributionsVery responsive on whatsapp, organized everything well at short noticeWe found Falcon Safaris on searching SafariBookings. We had very few days to plan our Safari trip to Zimbabwe and Taku at FS was very prompt and responsive. Given very few reviews on TripAdvisor we spoke with him on whatsapp and felt good to go ahead with the trip. FS are affiliated with Africa Bush Camps and helped put together an itinerary for Mana Pools, Hwange and Vic Falls. Taku was excellent in all respects - very easy to communicate with, very responsive on whatsapp, helped book the sunset cruise, boma dinner, lunch at overlook cafe, suggestions for restaurants etc. Brian helped drive us from Hwange and in Vic Falls - his brother Gilbert helped us navigate the open market for souvenirs. We had a great experience with Falcon and readily recommend them. Cheers. PS - i asked one of the camp managers re how to identify if a tour agency is genuine if they dont have too many TA reviews. He suggested looking for them on Google Maps. If they have an office then they're genuine..Written September 3, 2022
