My husband and I went on the 9 day safari tour through Victoria Falls and Botswana for our honeymoon. It was truly one of the best experiences of our lives and the best choice we could have made! Starting from the beginning, Tatenda was extremely reliable and responded to all of my emails right away. He answered tons of my questions and helped me customize and add additional days on to the tour so we could make the tour just how we wanted. Then to the tour itself, many of the other tours on safari bookings only include game drives, we chose this tour because it had a ton of variety and were so glad we did! Not only did we see a ton of animals and natural landscapes we also got a chance to do multiple boat rides, cultural experiences and a helicopter ride! Plus the hotels and food included were excellent! They even set up a special honeymoon poolside dinner for us as a surprise for free! Everything was prompt and reliable and they really went out of their way to do everything we wanted. We definitely got value for our money on this tour. But now to the best part of our tour was our guide Simon! Simon was more than just a safari guide, he also became a friend and an ambassador to Africa as a whole. He went above and beyond to make us comfortable and explained not only the landscape but the history, culture, politics, and customs of all of Southern Africa. The warmth and humor of Africa totally shines through Simons personality and you can tell his passion for his job. We will remember this trip for the rest of our lives, thank you Tatenda, Simon, and Cuckoo Safaris!

I was picked up from my hotel in Victoria Falls and driven 45 minutes or thereabouts to the Zimbabwe/Botswana border. I was met by the wonderful Cobra and the rest of my group and taken through the border control and into Botswana. We were taken to the river for the first part of our trip. July was our guide and he brought us around on the boat. We saw a huge amount of animals, Hippos, Crocodiles, Impala and loads more. July made sure we got plenty of photos and answered all our questions. We weren't rushed at any stage. After a lovely lunch Cobra returned for the game drive. We made the short drive to the National Park and within minutes we saw Zebras, Elephants and Giraffes. We also saw Lions and a Leopard and many more animals. We even saw Lions feeding on an Elephant. After the drive we were returned to the border and I was taken back to my hotel. It was a brilliant trip, I loved every minute of it. One of the highlights of my holiday. I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour. Book it!!!!!

Great day out. Lunch was fantastic. Wild life viewing wasn’t bad either. Coming from Zimbabwe it feels alittle rushed on the safari drive. Quite a few of us on the same trip paid different prices, through trip advisor was the most expensive so I’d recommend booking in town for around 70US less.

Chobe was fantastic! We saw all of the animals -lions, giraffe, hippos, elephants, antelope, buffalo, crocodile, baboon,- all up close. Drove thru and then took boat ride on the river. Both guides were great and lunch was fantastic. Highly recommended

My family and I absolutely loved our extended day tour to Chobe National Park with Cuckoo! To be fully transparent, though we booked with Cuckoo and they drove us to the Botswana border, the tour was actually provided by Puku Safaris - as I understand it, they have some partnership and work together. Either way, it was a marvelous experience and I highly recommend the extended day - yes it means getting up before the crack of dawn and it's a marathon of a day - but it's so worth it for the wildlife experience. We lucked out by seeing not only one lion but an entire pride. There must have been close to 20 lions! It seemed like we were able to stay twice as long as the other tours there because we had more time to spare. We also got up close with giraffes, elephants - SO MANY ELEPHANTS - and on the river cruise, crocodiles. Our guide Cobra was fabulous - he seemed to be a local celebrity the way everyone knew him. He was funny and informative. The buffet lunch was delicious. Cuckoo/Puku made the experience - including crossing over into Botswana - seamless. Cuckoo was very communicative and answered my many questions prior to the trip. I could not have imagined a better day trip safari!

This was one of highlights of our trip from Zimbabwe. The drivers and guides were very nice. We saw lots of animals in ways that we could not imagine. We always felt safe, and the place for lunch was much better than we expected. The travel agency took care of everything and the staff it used were top notch. Highly recommend them!

I've been picked up at 5.45 am as agreed. Prudence is a great guide, well informed and friendly. She made sure that we were at the right spot for the sunrise, which was amazing too. I totally enjoyed the two hours along the Victoria Falls and highly recommend the tour.

The visit to the falls was amazing. I now know the real name of the falls is Mosi-oa-Tunya. Mosi-oa-Tunya is the name the local habitats named the falls.

I used Cuckoo Safari for a 10 day tour of Zimbabwe and Botswana ( added a 2 day safari in Hwange NP to a 7 day tour of Botswana and a night in Victoria Falls) . Simon and Leyondo were great I am fortunate to have them as guides and now friends. I travelled with my 13 year old son Leo and we had specific safari requests that all were met with exceptional efficiency and success . The choice of accommodation and local guides was great as well and the whole trip was great value for money and we managed to have an amazing time and made lifelong memories . Thank you Cuckoo Safari and see you in our next trip to Southern Africa

Very misleading information. First, the website said the price of my three day Chobe safari would be $800. When communicating with the company the price jumped to $1000 (they said it was because I was a solo traveler, but there's nothing on the website stating that and earlier emails from the company stated $800 even as a solo traveler). Then, the website CLEARLY says the price includes all park fees however at the end I had to pay $20 for each day of game park activities. That was very irritating. My guide, who was actually from Puku Safaris in Botswana, was wonderful. I can't say enough good things about Gift and the three days of safari. I would absolutely do the safari again with Gift however I would likely look for anotherr company other than Cuckoo due to misleading website information.

We had an amazing guide. Simon was very pleasant and had the biggest smile. "My goal is to make you happy" and that he did. He was on time, gave us all sorts of information, he knew all the best spots for viewing and pictures and he was patient when we wanted the same photo over and over. It was a lovely morning and we are indeed, very HAPPY. Thank you, Simon

Just seeing the vastness and majestry of the Falls. From both countries. It's tremendous compared to Niagara Falls.
