The cruise was absolutely perfect well organised and the staff were so helpful and kind . The drinks served throughout the trip and snacks were really good

It was a beautiful experience, we got to see many hippos and crocodiles. Our guide/driver Matt, was very nice, attentive and knowledgeable. Everything was handled very professionally and we also enjoyed the snacks and drinks.

What an amazing way to end my short stay in Victoria falls. Solomon was a great host from the moment of pick up and throughout the cruise, giving some local knowledge as we made our way from town towards the jetty. Beautiful, relaxing cruise along the Zambezi visiting both the Zimbabwe and Zambia side of the river. We were lucky enough to see a bloat of hippos quite a few times in the river as well as a few crocodiles, impala and even an elephant cooking off by the shoreline. Captain and Solomon were vigilant and giving plenty of knowledgeable info as we made sightings along the way. Open bar was plentiful and snacks were ok (perhaps nicer to have some more savory snacks throughout rather than a small plate of bites but just my own opinion. I did a morning game drive in Zambezi park earlier the same day which was somewhat underwhelming for the price paid so would much rather do 2 x river cruises for the same price and enjoy much more if I came back. The sunset was beautiful and overall it was a very calm and relaxing way to end my stay in Victoria Falls. Thanks team!

We recently returned from one of our bucket list destinations. We booked through Exoticca Travel, and they used Batoka Safaris as our guides in Zimbabwe. From pickup at Victoria Falls Airport to departure from Victoria Falls Airport, the service provided by the staff of Batoka Safaris was excellent. They handled all of our transfers efficiently. We booked a Sunset Cruise of the Zambezi River with them, and that was a lot of fun. Did a Zambezi National Park safari with them that was super fun. The highlight was the guided tour of the Majestic Victoria Falls!! WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! A dream come true seeing this amazing Waterfall!! The guide from Batoka Safaris was awesome! If we ever have the opportunity to visit Zimbabwe again, then we will absolutely contact Batoka Safari once more!!

We booked a 5night tour in Victoria falls/helicopter flight/Hwange national Park/Chobe national park + 3 extra days Chobe national park. We booked via an other agent in South Africa, but ended up dealing with Batoka safaris. The people are great, the pickup times were always on time. We arrived 1 day late in Vic falls due to the strike of South african airlines. Batoka safaris rebooked our full stay. They did a great job! The day we go back, we for sure deal with them.

I booked my transfers through Batoka Safaris from Victoria Falls airport to my hotel in town. The meet and greet at the airport was exceptionally good. The guide had my name displayed on the board. The guide took his time to explain my itinerary and gave me full information about Victoria Falls...I immediately felt at home. I did a sunset cruise and guided tour of the falls. The guides were knowledgeable and very passionate. The transfer back to the airport was seamless. Thank you Batoka Safaris for the memorable holiday.

We have just returned from a 3 night trip to Livingstone, Victoria falls and Botswana safari. The trip exceeded all our expectations in every way. We booked through an agent but the local agent was Batoka Safaris. The sunset cruise was amazing. The boat was spacious and we didn’t see any other boats only hippos, crocodiles, birds and even elephants on our cruise. The highlight for me was the trip to Botswana to Chobe Park; the start time of 7am was perfect for the hours drive to the park. We has a jeep to ourselves. All the tour staff that day were excellent and very kind to my elderly father in law who was travelling with us. Our safari guide was very knowledgeable, we saw Lions, Giraffe, elephants, buffalo amongst many more. The lunch at the lodge was great and the afternoon river cruise finished a perfect day. The trip to Victoria Falls was amazing; again Steve the tour guide was mindful of our elderly parents and even took us over the bridge to Zimbabwe so the children could watch the bungee jumpers. Thank you for allowing us to alter the itinerary to meet the needs of our group and we went to Mosi- o-Tonya park that afternoon where we had the privilege to see the last 10 white rhinos. The armed guards who protect the rhinos talked passionately about their work and were so engaging with the children. Our trip finished with the helicopter tour of the falls which was spectacular. Botoka travels were the local agent who organised the local guides. Their communication was excellent, all guides arrived on time and were so friendly and helpful, and the Protea hotel for their fabulous hospitality. As my children said, “Can we go back to Africa again, the people are so nice and friendly’. Thank you again for such a fabulous trip.

My husband and I booked a package (3 nights, 4 days) through an agent in Capetown that used Batoka Safaris "on the ground" in Zimbabwe. Batoka was first rate! The airport transfers, the drivers to and from the activities, the staff and guides, and all of the activities (canoeing, game drives, helicopter over the Falls, walking the Falls, Boma dinner, village tour, sunset cruise...) were outstanding in every way. Had I known, would have booked with Batoka directly. I am a world traveler and have had a variety of experiences with tour guides and drivers. You cannot go wrong with this company.
