It was a great experience that I would recommend. You do feel a bit rushed as if the winds are a factor the team is grounded. It would have been nice if there was more information before boarding the microflight.

What a experience. Amazing views. Our guide, Isabella, was excellent. She is very knowledgeable and showed a lot of patience. Our sunset cruise was something to remember. The Ostrich steak was great. Paul picked us up at the airport. On our journey to the Hotel he put us at ease (being first timers) and helped us plan our weekend. The visit to the "The Lookout Cafe" was an enjoyable experience. Afro Dawn was always punctual. The stay at AZambezi Lodge was peaceful and pleasant. Staff very helpful and friendly. We did not take the breakfast included option. Negatives: Unfortunately for South Africans it becomes quite an expensive experience. Never the less, no regrets. Thanks again Paul and Isabella from Afro Dawn Safaris..

Paul picked our large group of 12 up from Hwange and drove us to Victoria Falls. After getting us to our respective hotels safely. He was kind patient and courteous and made sure each of us had activities booked and we all had the things and places we wanted to go and see in order. He worked so hard and it made our trip very seamless. We had an amazing experience and we know that a big part of that is due to Paul’s help. We could not be more grateful.

We used Afro Dawn Safaris to arrange the Boma Dinner and Drum show, a sunset dinner boat cruise as well as a full day Chobe national park and Chobe river excursions. All I can say is WOW for the smooth and seamless logistics from Afro Dawn. They went out of their way, and even where we had time to kill would take a detour and show us something interesting. All three excursions were amazing! From a logistics point-of-view the Chobe trip required 3 border crossings each way, and with Afro Dawn this was no effort and seamless. Their staff are friendly, well-informed and happy to share their knowledge of the area. My greatest thanks go out to Isabella and her team. I will definitely use them again for anything and everything Vic Falls and surrounds!

It’s expensive but worth every penny. It’s about as close as you can get to being a bird flying over the falls. Amazing. First high so an incredible view over the falls, the Zambezi river and bridge, the town the parks, then come in low and spot the animals in the national park. Elephants, rhinos, hippos, and even crocodiles! All the while the pilot is giving a commentary of what we are seeing.

Isabelle is the perfect guide. I had so much fun and I learnt a lot about Victoria's fall and its environment. She also kindly helped me to arrange a sunset cruise on the spot. I highly recommend Isabelle and her entourage, especially given my last minute booking (less than 2 hrs prior the tour). I had great time and she was very patient also in taking great picture, since I was a solo traveller. Asante sana

We traveled to VF last December with Afro Dawn Safaris. We really enjoyed our trip because everything was very well organized. All guides were very friendly, helpful, informative and professional. Everything was always on time. The guides always tried to make our stay as memorable and pleasant as possible, eg we visited very nice restaurants. Special thanks to our guide Bella, she was online 24/7 and was very responsive to all our requests. All guides were very flexible to change itinerary when needed. We visited with our family for 3 nights in mid Dec 2023. Our guide, Isabella, was fantastic from the moment she met us at the airport to saying our goodbyes. We booked several activities throughout our stay, some of which were last minute requests which Isabella managed to organise without fuss. A big bonus for me was seeing how Isabella was with my son. She helped him overcome his fears of the bugs, and generally made him feel comfortable. We have no negatives to report, and would without a doubt recommend Isabella and her colleague Paul to anyone wishing to visit Vic Falls.

I originally booked my microlight flight through Viator. I was Staying in Zimbabwe for a few days and wanted to pack as many activities in as I could. However, some I booked in advance and I had a mix of companies. I was therefore concerned about having to coordinate everything. Isabella reached out and was able to coordinate my multiple activities with difference companies and took all the stress off me. Everything was handled perfectly. So much so that I was also able to squeeze a bungee jump in. The microlight flight was an incredible experience. I booked the sunrise time slot. Due to the weather forecast predicting thunderstorms, Isabela waited with me at the boarded until we go the go ahead and then we were on our way. I highly recommend booking the microlight flight in the first few days of your trip incase of bad weather. This way it can be rebooked. Isabelle the coordinated the transfer to the Devils pool location which is a truly unique experience and one that I will never forget. In short, Isabella and her team are excellent and when I return to this beautiful part of the world with my family I will be reaching out to Isabella first.

This flight was amazing. We did a sunrise micro light flight. The overhead views of the falls were absolutely incredible. We saw hippos, crocodiles, rhinos, Cape buffalo, and elephants. Luckily we were able to take off, but highly recommend booking this on one of your first days in case it needs to be rescheduled due to wind or other weather related conditions.

I booked the microlight flight off Viator through Afro Dawn Safaris. Once Isabella reached out to confirm my booking, i asked her to contact me since I needed some more stuff arranged on my trip. I asked for a ride from the livingstone airport to Vic falls, a tour of the devils pool, transport to and from the Kasane border in Botswana/Namibia, arrangements for the Boma dinner and a ride to the airport in Victoria falls at the end of my trip. Everything was communicated and arranged without fail and done perfectly. Isabella joined me upon each border crossing to ensure I had no issues. As for the microlight flight, it was absolutely phenomenal. It is highly weather dependent and i got lucky because there were clear skies and low winds above. Got a fantastic view of the falls from both sides as well as getting to spot a couple of Rhinos on the Zambia side of the border that I didn’t get to see while I was on the ground. Then came the devils pool. It included breakfast and beverages as well as tour of livingstone island and a swim to the edge of the actual fall. What an exhilarating experience! Safety precautions were taken to ensure nothing bad happens. Highly recommend bringing along water shoes, as the rocks in the water can get a little slippery. The BOMA dinner, everyone will recommend it, so will I. It can be a little pricey but it is all inclusive minus drinks. The show itself is an experience that everyone partakes in and the food is top notch and barring the pork, the meats are certified Halal! The transport across the destinations was timely and communicated with my next hotel to ensure i didn’t have to wait anywhere. I even let the team at my hotel in Namibia know to work with them, since the third party they arranged transfers with messed up and made me wait. Since I’m an avid collector of bank notes of the countries I visit, I asked Isabella to get me some for the countries in the area, and she was able to arrange for that without fail. No request went undone! I highly recommend working with Isabella and her team to make all the arrangements for your trip to the Victoria falls region.
