About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Curious533404936870 contributionsGreat dayFabulous day safari - saw lots of animals and had a brilliant tour guide called Brian who was friendly and knowledgable! Nothing was too much trouble for him. Lunch was okay however drinks expensive. River safari also pleasant and lots of things seenWritten October 6, 2024
- TimC2210 contributionsAbsolute Best Safari Experience! The Chobe Full Day Safari offers both boat and land viewing experiences. I highly recommend this full day safari because you will have the opportunity to view wildlife from a boat for over half of the time and this is the way to go for a couple of reasons. When it is hot outside which is very common in September in Botswana, being on the river will feel far better than on land! The Boat will allow you to have a very close view of Crocs and Hippos. And you will also see some birds you will not see on land as well as great views of other wildlife such as Elephants, Water Buffalo and Impalas. Lastly, the scenery along the river is amazing ...a must! This tour also provides a wonderful all you can eat lunch buffet at a Riverside Resort! The Resort is very nice and offers escape from the heat in September. The lunch was one my my favorite meals while we we're in Africa for two weeks! The land experience followed lunch and offered as expected offered a different experience than water. I will worn you it was VERY HOT (in September) and very BUMPY as we were tossed up and down, side to side while driving through the soft sandy park. So bumpy that that my phone and my friends Fitbit thought we had walked a number of miles that we did not. The wildlife viewing is good ...thousands of Impalas, many Elephants and a number of Giraffes and Zebras. We also were privileged to see 4 lions, 3 females and 1 male lounging under the shade of a group of trees. September is dry season in this area of Africa and it was extremely dry as the vegetation was mostly dried up, but evidently there is still enough to support 10's of 1000's of animals. The tour company provides ample cold water, juices, and soft drinks on both their boats and Jeeps. I would do this Safari again, but would prefer going during a cooler time of year, such as April or May.Written October 5, 2024
- Wanderer117553009260 contributionsI gained knowledge of the Victoria falls, how the falls started its composition. The Tour Guidw was amazing, very knowledge, a kind and patient guy. I could feel like I have known him a long time ago. The walks a bit of a stretch but my team and I did not feel the distance. Trevor the Tour guide does his job with a full heart. I recommend this touring company to anyone. We did take pictures of the falls and also met baboons and also took pictures.Written September 29, 2024

Dave handlef us through the border to Botswana with no problem. Our safari driver Gift was excellent he tried so hard to show us leopard and a pride of lions. Cruise was excellent as well. I advise to not miss out on this tourWritten September 5, 2024
- rachaisson0 contributionsChobeOur guide was exceptional. I didn't expect that I would get to see the abundance of wildlife that I saw in the park, including all of the Big Four that reside there, but our guide was able to locate all of them and get us very close. Overall, an amazing experience that the whole family can enjoy.Written September 3, 2024
- Compass578907906950 contributionsA definite bucket-list experienceOur first visit to Chobe - but definitely not our last. Cannot wait to come back.... Both the game drive, as well as the boat trip on the Chobe river was awesome. We had a very knowledgeable guide, who went out of his way to make the experience memorable. We were fortunate to see elephants do the river crossing. The only downside of the trip, was the lunch experience - we were very disappointed, as most of of the dishes at the buffet was empty. We had to eat what was available or nothing at all.... service was also poor.Written August 12, 2024
- 798candyb0 contributionsZimbabwe, Botswana, NamibiaOur family of 7 enjoyed our experience with Intondolo Safari and Tours. The transfers from the airport and around town were flawless. We were in contact with our Guide Trevor at all times during our tours to Victoria Falls, River Cruise to see hippos, Chobe Safari and River Safari (Botswana), Hwange Bush/Matopo Tours, a cultural visit to a local village/school and family dinner. Our guide was very helpful in finding us ATM, grocery store stops (2 picky kid eaters), bathroom stops and provided information that was kid friendly and also interested the adults. Nkue made sure our kids saw cheetahs and rhinos which were on their wish list. The lodging and restaurants were very good. It seemed that Intondolo Tours, Nkue and Trevor know everyone in Zimbabwe and all worked well together to make our trip very successful. We also used Intondolo Tours to book our trip to Namibia. This was a more physical trek and not for the wimpy. Well worth the effort if you want to see more cave paintings, dessert animals, and make ocean discoveries. Our Guide, More Blessing, took excellent care of us throughout this trip. We appreciate the time and effort that went into planning and executing our trip!Written August 6, 2024

- MEsquib0 contributionsDangerous “business” please go elsewhere. What a stressful and terrible experience. We scheduled a tour with this company and on our tour date the tour guide requested a change of the date of our tour we agreed. The tour operator also indicated that they would pick us up on the new date at 7 am and that we would receive a confirmation of the new time via email and trip advisor. We never received one. So on the new date our family was waiting at 7 am. By 7:40 no tour had come to pick us up. I reached out to the tour company on two different numbers. Called each number with no answer, messaged both numbers and through trip advisor with no response. After failing to hear back I requested a refund through Trip Advisor, and booked a similar tour with another company. When the tour operator got the refund request he sent over a company guide to our hotel and the tried to DEMAND $80 per person more money and claimed we requested an upgraded tour and tried to force us to go with them. After explaining that they were late and we had already booked a new tour, the owner promised a refund and sent the guide away. However, the tour guide then began to harass both me and my accommodations via WhatsApp, and now has refused to refund the money paid as a term of conditions when it was him who didn’t adhere to them. Both he and the guide Bryn made my family feel incredibly unsafe and we are happy that we were able to figure out a dangerous situation prior to departing. Very concerning when traveling with a family to be met with these circumstances. Hopefully, the business owner will do the right thing and refund us as we did not go on the tour. However, safety is our priority and we hope to share our experience with others to avoid any company who operates in such a dangerous and unpredictable manner.Written June 30, 2024
- mokshar9510 contributionsBest way to experience the elephant herds at Chobe!Amazing! From the pick up sharp at 7am, to the swift transfer between borders, we were already impressed by the team. The transportation was in comfortable air conditioned vehicles. Brian and Michael did a great job transferring to Botswana where we met Gaba. He was an experienced guide that explained everything and took us on a carefully thought out trek to see all the animals he could find. We had the entire safari vehicle to ourselves which was such a treat! We did not feel rushed and Gaba really wanted to show us everything. He was very professional and courteous and made us feel very comfortable. Seeing the elephants on land as they move to the water and then from the water, is a complete experience. Would highly recommend this tour with Intondolo!Written June 22, 2024
- NeilKiwi0 contributionsHORRIFIC KILL ON BABY HIPPO DUE TO THE GREED OF HUMANSAbsolutely appalling day trip from Victoria Falls. The boat we travelled on for the cruise portion of the day trip came too close to the hippos, as did other boats. As a result, a large male hippo became agitated and killed a baby hippo. Possibly, the male hippo was agitated and trying to actually attack the boat we travelled on and in his agitated state attacked the baby hippo instead - who knows. The baby hippo unfortunately got between the end of the boat and the hippo male, so he was in the way. It is little wonder that animal attacks on vehicles in Africa are now becoming common occurrences. Africa is the only place we personally have wanted to visit over recent years to observe the animals in their natural habitat. Unfortunately that $$$$ sign is all the tour operators are now after and they do not care about the welfare of the animals. It is only a matter of time before an attack on a boat capsizes it as is being experienced in Spain with the orca who have had enough of being disturbed and injured by propellers. Once again, the greed of the human race, the most dangerous predator on earth is ruining our planet.Written June 12, 2024
- elyswede0 contributionsChobe Safari experience, thumbs up!A wonderful safari, haft day spent inland and the the second part on the river safari cruise. Amazing videos of elephants, hippos in the water and lions and other animals during both areas.Written June 11, 2024
- Jmpmdlufc0 contributionsAn excellent day that was one of the highlights of our holiday. The pickup was on time. The guides sorted out the border formalities. The knowledgeable guide in Chobe (his name was Gaba) took us to the right places to see lions, elephants, crocodiles, etc (all just a few metres away) and even explained geographical features of the area. An excellent day that was one of the highlights of our holiday.Written June 1, 2024

The Zambezi river cruise is really good. Two hours on the water and the crew will stop so you can any photos of Hippos and Crocodiles. Good beer and wine on board, although snack are average.
The Victoria Falls walk was excellent and our guide Trevor was very knowledgeable pointing out various bits and pieces of interest. If you do this I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you purchase a poncho as you will get soaked from the spray.
Intondolo Safaris and Tours were excellent throughout the booking process and picked us up promptly on each day. I would have no issue recommending them.

We decided to break up this tour into two days. We arrived in the afternoon and didn’t want to waste the day, so we did the sunset cruise the same day we arrived. We were picked up by a young man by the name of Tich (who would turn out to be one of the best tour guides we have encountered). The sunset cruise was really great! Beautiful and well worth the time. The staff on the boat was friendly and very informative. The next morning Tich picked is up and gave us a wonderful tour of the falls. The tour broken up into two days (if you stay for 3 days) was really a nice relaxed way to do it.
Most importantly, Tich was fantastic. He is knowledgeable, witty, personable and most importantly patient. If he says don’t try the beer, then listen to him!
Tich helped us set up a helicopter tour for the second day, after the falls tour. He was so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we made the most of the time we had. Tich made the experience even more enjoyable (if that’s possible!).

The sunset river cruise was a relaxing and welcome finish to a harried travel day. We saw the usual river creatures: birds of all varieties, hippos, crocodiles. The highlight of the cruise was watching two elephants swim across the river. The snacks lowered the river cruise evaluation to four stars. The next day we met our guide, Nkue of Intondolo Safari and Tours, who took us on a fabulous walking tour of Victoria Falls. This portion was a five-star experience. Nkue was full of information about the falls and its history, as well as the park and the local people. We highly recommend him and his company.

We met Nkue on a transfer from the Kasane Airport to Victoria Falls and were very impressed with how responsive he was via email and then how knowledgeable, friendly and helpful he was on our airport trip. We learned so much from him just on a drive from the airport and decided to book the tour of the Falls and a boat cruise with him, as well as our return airport transfer. We were treated like VIPs by Nkue and his team at very reasonable prices, and we very highly recommend him and his company Intondolo Safaris.

Hi there
Will it be possible to pay any fees that are mentioned in the tour with my card?

We have a flight from Livingston Airport at 6:00pm. Do you think we have enough time to do the second day of this tour and get to the Airport in time? I am not sure about the time is takes at the border crossings and what time this tour actually finishes on the last day?

We would like to do the sunset cruise on February 27 and dinner on the boat. Is this possible
