- 1Enjoy an African experience in a Village , meet local people and get to understand their daily lives in from sunrise to evening. Victoria Falls has a number of Villages some kilometers away from town. In the Village home duties are shared based on gender and age too. Less of township life is practiced there. Women do most of domestic work and men do the most hard duties usually out in the veld doing small scale hunting on rabbits and also herding cattle away from predators:lions and hyenas. An outing that will give one a chance to socialize and share a life with villagers. New friends are made in this African experience. New recipes are an added knowledge in a lifetime. The day in day out life on men in Village contributes to the fact that : why men life expectancy is always deemed short compared to women. Such of discussions and views will come up on board basing views from the experience accrued in the tour before end. Well wishers can bring along stationery for school kids and old clothes for widows and Orphans in the Village Schedules - 08h00 - 10h00 & 15h30 to 17h30 Daily
About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- usatraveler1000 contributionsFabulous all the way around!Well done, very knowledgeable guide, who volunteered to carry our heavy backup (phew!), smooth pickup from our hotel and return to it. We were thoroughly impressed with the operation and the falls were amazing!Written December 22, 2024
- Nen6087070 contributionsUnforgettable experienceIt was a huge mistake to book a stay for 2 days only. Very intensive and productive days thanks to Nkue and Trevor, but nonetheless, too short... We had a dinner Cruise, visit falls from both sides, helicopter ride... It just could not be better! This way I’d like to thank Nkue for his organizational skills and his help from the first contact. Our special thanks go to Trevor, a very special person, who added value to our trip. His love for the wildlife, understanding of global problems and his honest and sincere approach existed in every word he said. Exceptional!Written December 2, 2024
- jpgrove670 contributionsVictoria FallsThe views were amazing from both Zimbabwe and Zambia. Trevor and Brian were excellent guides and got us through immigration without problem or queuingWritten November 4, 2024
- Excursion8210290 contributionsAwesome dayGreat staff, saw a lot of wildlife, went by boat in am, had lunch then out again on land. Was a once in a lifetime trip for us.Written October 21, 2024
- Ukiri5Guru0 contributionsGreat experienceMy driver picked me up at airport and took me to hotel. He took for sunset cruise which was wonderful - hippo and elephants. Lovely sunset. Next morning took me for Falls walking tour. Had an excellent guide. Walk through rainforest getting damp from the spray was amazing. Then he took me back to airport. Can highly recommend this companyWritten October 17, 2024
- DiveNC0 contributionsGreat dayWe went with a different company but it seems like every group does the same game drive. It's really worth it and very extraordinary to see the animals like that. I highly recommend you do a boat trip though as part of this if it's not offered. It really was magical to see everything from boat.Written October 14, 2024
- Curious533404936870 contributionsGreat dayFabulous day safari - saw lots of animals and had a brilliant tour guide called Brian who was friendly and knowledgable! Nothing was too much trouble for him. Lunch was okay however drinks expensive. River safari also pleasant and lots of things seenWritten October 6, 2024
- TimC2210 contributionsAbsolute Best Safari Experience! The Chobe Full Day Safari offers both boat and land viewing experiences. I highly recommend this full day safari because you will have the opportunity to view wildlife from a boat for over half of the time and this is the way to go for a couple of reasons. When it is hot outside which is very common in September in Botswana, being on the river will feel far better than on land! The Boat will allow you to have a very close view of Crocs and Hippos. And you will also see some birds you will not see on land as well as great views of other wildlife such as Elephants, Water Buffalo and Impalas. Lastly, the scenery along the river is amazing ...a must! This tour also provides a wonderful all you can eat lunch buffet at a Riverside Resort! The Resort is very nice and offers escape from the heat in September. The lunch was one my my favorite meals while we we're in Africa for two weeks! The land experience followed lunch and offered as expected offered a different experience than water. I will worn you it was VERY HOT (in September) and very BUMPY as we were tossed up and down, side to side while driving through the soft sandy park. So bumpy that that my phone and my friends Fitbit thought we had walked a number of miles that we did not. The wildlife viewing is good ...thousands of Impalas, many Elephants and a number of Giraffes and Zebras. We also were privileged to see 4 lions, 3 females and 1 male lounging under the shade of a group of trees. September is dry season in this area of Africa and it was extremely dry as the vegetation was mostly dried up, but evidently there is still enough to support 10's of 1000's of animals. The tour company provides ample cold water, juices, and soft drinks on both their boats and Jeeps. I would do this Safari again, but would prefer going during a cooler time of year, such as April or May.Written October 5, 2024
- Wanderer117553009260 contributionsI gained knowledge of the Victoria falls, how the falls started its composition. The Tour Guidw was amazing, very knowledge, a kind and patient guy. I could feel like I have known him a long time ago. The walks a bit of a stretch but my team and I did not feel the distance. Trevor the Tour guide does his job with a full heart. I recommend this touring company to anyone. We did take pictures of the falls and also met baboons and also took pictures.Written September 29, 2024

Dave handlef us through the border to Botswana with no problem. Our safari driver Gift was excellent he tried so hard to show us leopard and a pride of lions. Cruise was excellent as well. I advise to not miss out on this tourWritten September 5, 2024
- rachaisson0 contributionsChobeOur guide was exceptional. I didn't expect that I would get to see the abundance of wildlife that I saw in the park, including all of the Big Four that reside there, but our guide was able to locate all of them and get us very close. Overall, an amazing experience that the whole family can enjoy.Written September 3, 2024
- Compass578907906950 contributionsA definite bucket-list experienceOur first visit to Chobe - but definitely not our last. Cannot wait to come back.... Both the game drive, as well as the boat trip on the Chobe river was awesome. We had a very knowledgeable guide, who went out of his way to make the experience memorable. We were fortunate to see elephants do the river crossing. The only downside of the trip, was the lunch experience - we were very disappointed, as most of of the dishes at the buffet was empty. We had to eat what was available or nothing at all.... service was also poor.Written August 12, 2024
- 798candyb0 contributionsZimbabwe, Botswana, NamibiaOur family of 7 enjoyed our experience with Intondolo Safari and Tours. The transfers from the airport and around town were flawless. We were in contact with our Guide Trevor at all times during our tours to Victoria Falls, River Cruise to see hippos, Chobe Safari and River Safari (Botswana), Hwange Bush/Matopo Tours, a cultural visit to a local village/school and family dinner. Our guide was very helpful in finding us ATM, grocery store stops (2 picky kid eaters), bathroom stops and provided information that was kid friendly and also interested the adults. Nkue made sure our kids saw cheetahs and rhinos which were on their wish list. The lodging and restaurants were very good. It seemed that Intondolo Tours, Nkue and Trevor know everyone in Zimbabwe and all worked well together to make our trip very successful. We also used Intondolo Tours to book our trip to Namibia. This was a more physical trek and not for the wimpy. Well worth the effort if you want to see more cave paintings, dessert animals, and make ocean discoveries. Our Guide, More Blessing, took excellent care of us throughout this trip. We appreciate the time and effort that went into planning and executing our trip!Written August 6, 2024

This tour was amazing. It was informative . We appreciated the time at the school meeting the principal , teachers and children. Our guide, Tich, was very informative in explaining what our village tour would entail. We would do this tour again ,

The village was nice and the information provided okay. The experience felt not real as the interaction between the person showing us around and the people on sight didn't feel right. They seemed to be a lack of real family connection as the guide lead us to believe that he belonged to this village and 12 people lived there when there was only one double bed????? I would not recommend this visit.
