About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Aisling C0 contributionsAmazing 6 days in Hwange/Chobe/Vic Falls! We had an incredible personalised 6 day tour of Hwange/Chobe/Vic Falls! We were also fortunate to see the big 5 in the 5 days! Our guide/driver in Hwange, Thuylani, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and passionate; sharing everything with us. For the 6 days, it always felt like we were the utmost priority to ensure the best experience possible. When we had an issue at the Zimbabwe border, our beautiful driver, Enoch contacted Webster who was quick to help us out. However, none of this amazing experience was possible without the prompt responses from the DK team (we were in contact with Brighton and Owen). They answered all our questions and made sure that if we had any requests, to simply ask! Whatever they could do, they would. During the tour itself, we were never left questioning what was happening next or waiting for pick ups. We came across many employees/drivers for the company and all of them were helpful, kind and friendly. We would highly recommend this beautiful company. Thank you! Thank you!Written January 4, 2025
- aislingc20250 contributionsAmazing personalised trip to Hwange/Chobe/Vic Falls!Thank you so much to DKSafaris for a wonderful personalised 6 day tour of Hwange, Chobe/Vic Falls! My partner and I had an amazing time and were so lucky to see the big 5 in 5 days!!! It always felt like what we wanted to see was the utmost priority of our guide which was so appreciated. Thulani was knowledgeable and passionate sharing all of it with us. When we came across a border issue in Zimbabwe, our driver, Enoch, contacted Webster and he was quick to help us out. Thank you! However, none of this amazing experience was possible without the prompt responses and support from the team at DK (we were in contact with Brighton and Owen). He answered all our questions and made sure if we had any requests, to ask! On the tour itself, we were never left questioning what was next or waiting for pick ups. We came across many members/drivers for the company and all were friendly, helpful and kind. Would recommend using this beautiful company who put you first for the best experience possible. - AviShavit0 contributionsThe Best professional and the most helpful tour operator that I ever met!!!!I approached Mr. Webster Musaidzi and DK Tours & Safaris after a deep survey to find an appropriate tour operator who could help us tailor our first safari in Africa. From the beginning, I found a person who put our requirements and willingness on the front and tried all his effort to make us happy and to accommodate what we wanted. I must admit that Webster was almost the only one who read actually what we wanted. Most of the other tour operators just try to convince us to take their already planned tour without the right concern about our needs. For us, it was an actual issue since we came to Zimbabwe safari after one week of safari in Tanzania, where Mr Webster also helped us with his well-connected Africa network. During the seven months after we made the reservation up to the safari date, Webster turned out to be our major consultant for everything we needed. From the moment we arrived in Zimbabwe one of his team or Webster himself escorted us and took care of everything. When I write “everything" I mean it, it started with the border control, and continued with third-party tour suppliers, like the dinner boat company or helicopter tour. He verified that we would have a VIP treatment in any one of the activities we took. His team is excellent, I was completely impressed with their professionalism, standing on time, being very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very very friendly. Webster's unique friendship and willingness to help came to its highest level when we faced difficulties in the airport back home. Not only did he wait in the airport until we ended the check-in, but when he found out that we had a problem and the flight was cancelled, he took us to his office and he and his team worked like crazy to solve our problems with the airline and hotel reservation. This is above and far from any expectation one can find in a regular tour operator. For example, Webster took us to the airline office in another part of the city and helped us bridge the communication with the travel agent in the office. The customer service we got is second to none. I highly recommend Mr. Webster Musaidzi and DK Tours & Safaris for any activities in Africa, and we definitely will use their services again and again.Written October 5, 2024
- JoywW0 contributions10 days in wonderful Zimbabwe and Botswana with the great team at DK ToursWebster put together a custom made tour of Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park, Elephant Sands, Makgadikgadi salt pans and the Okavango Delta for our group of 8. The 10 day (9 nights) tour was an incredible experience. We were very well looked after throughout by Webster, Owen and Encok and handed over to their colleague Cobra for some unforgettable game drives in Botswana. Victoria Falls is very impressive and our guide on the walk around there was excellent. We had boat cruises seeing the wildlife from the Chobe river, lots of game drives in safari jeeps, a helicopter ride over the Delta and an incredible night under the stars at the salt pan. Chobe Safari Lodge and Semowi were two of the places we stayed worth a special mention. Semowi has 4 rooms described as 'tents' but so luxurious and beautifully decorated. The 8 of us filled the place and with our two guides had great evenings sat on a big table enjoying the home cooked food. The main reason for the trip was to see animals and we weren't disappointed. Elephants galore, lions, two leopards, giraffes, zebra, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, beautiful birds and even a cheetah. Many of them were at very close range. It was good to support a local team and deal with them directly for the trip. Their knowledge was excellent and they were also great company. I cannot recommend this adventure highly enough.Written July 29, 2024
- bpK5778EG0 contributionsProfessional well organised trip to Vic Falls, Chobe, Hwange and BulawayoBrighton and team were professional, well organised and friendly. They arranged a well put together itinerary as well as a driver for a trip to Bulawayo and everything ran smoothly. I would definitely recommend them for your trip to ZimbabweWritten July 20, 2024
- johnsK4126ZR0 contributionsBest trip everWe did an eight day safari through DK Tours & Safaris (Vic Falls, Chobe, Elephant Sands, Okavanga). We loved every minute of it. Every one of our guides was welcoming, accommodating, reliable, and knowledgeable. Their customer service was excellent, and they planned the tour very well. We spent the most time with Enock, who was super friendly, and it was clear how passionate and knowledgeable he was about wildlife and nature. Couldn’t recommend this company more and we will definitely book with them again if we do another safari! Trip of a lifetime.Written July 16, 2024
- lavenderiris0 contributionsFantastic First Safari Experience! We had a fantastic safari experience with DK tours! We had customized a Hwange National Park, Victoria Falls, and Chobe National Park tour, by adding whitewater rafting at Victoria Falls and an extra day to chill! This was an experience of a lifetime that we will not forget! As this was my first safari, naturally I was quite nervous. Webster and his team arranged everything, and always had the most positive attitudes! They truly want to fulfill our wishes and requests! I also really appreciated their patience with my numerous questions and last-minute changes. The advantage of a smaller operator is that the tour size is small (there were only 4 of us on the Chobe NP safari), so it was a much more intimate experience where we can chat with the tour guides freely, and had more flexibility in our schedules. I would highly recommend DK Tours for the value and experience!!!Written July 15, 2024
- cosmaschilimbac0 contributionsThe victoria falls tripThe views were so amazing and we enjoyed the trip and see how water falls down from the surface going down about meters and the vapour that arise from down waterWritten July 2, 2024
- Vzog0 contributionsSee lots of animals with a highly professional guide and tour operatorThree of us senior ladies took the 8-day Victoria Falls, Chobe NP, and Okavango Delta trip, starting in Vic Falls and ending in Maun in June 2024. DK Tours (owned by Webster and headquartered in Vic Falls) is very organized and highly professional. Pickups, dropoffs and daily schedules are timely. He has been guiding in southern Africa for decades. He produces a very useful informational brochure tailored to the needs/schedule of each client. Botswana is a huge country and much of the tour is on the road and Webster (who was also our guide) is an excellent driver in a fairly new SUV. The lodgings are fine and good value for the price. On our trip the nearby Travel Lodge was substituted for the riverside Chobe Safari Lodge as the latter was undergoing repairs but it was fine. The tents on stilts at Elephant Sands are unique and unforgettable – the elephants charge into the wallow and you can hear their conversations all night. Most meals were buffet-style so food was varied and abundant. Note that if you visit in the African winter it gets down to freezing temps for early-morning activities so dress in layers. Game drives (and the mokoro trip in the Okavango) are outsourced to local guides in the parks who are keen to show off the local animals, but this is done carefully and without harassing the wildlife. Good guides can sense the mood of wildlife and avoid confronting, for example, elephants or lions having a bad day. Minor changes can be made to the set DK tour – for example, we asked to visit the San people and the salt pan outside Gweta and this request was accommodated for a reasonable added cost. Included in the trip are several river trips on the Zambezi and Chobe rivers that are relaxing and also showcase river game like hippos, buffalo, and crocs and various birds. To sum up, DK Tours takes excellent care of its clients and provided our group with a most memorable and exciting trip. Outside the set tour itinerary in Victoria Falls we took a “walking with lions” tour and a similar one at Wild Horizon Elephant Sanctuary, both of which Webster set up for us. These were wonderful and we would highly recommend you look into them too – how often in life do you get to pet a lion or feed an elephant? Two of my companions also zip-lined into the gorge. There's a lot to do in Vic Falls if you have an extra day there.Written June 26, 2024

- Roam6283130 contributionsWell Organized Tour & SafariHad a fantastic 6-day tour with DK Tours & Safaris to Victoria Falls, Hwange and Chobe. Webster was very responsive to our requests and working with our schedule. Everything was well planned and without a hitch - from the pickup at the airport until drop-off. Great accommodations, and drivers/tour guides.Written June 24, 2024
- HSLawyer0 contributionsExcellent Tour Company- Extremely Helpful In Custom PlanningAltogether, my brother and I spent 11 days in the Victoria Falls area. D K Tours arranged safaris in Chobe NP and Hwange NP and ALL activities in the Victoria Falls area. They provided all transfers and transportation to all attractions and activities. They never skipped a beat in providing transport services. Their planning services were top notch and their prices were quite reasonable. Hats off to Brighton and Webster, in particular. Many thanks for customizing our safari and adventure experiences.Written June 10, 2024
- krajith0 contributionsFantastic..The complete tour was very well planned with no hiccups. Right from beginning, both Brighton & Webster were quick to reply to any query to our satisfaction. Flawless execution, I would say. We all really loved the entire trip & got nice team of drivers or guides on the tour. Of course at the Hwange game drive, we could not see much animals due to rains which was out of our hands still our guide, Lazarus, went extra mile to maximize the game viewing. Vic falls was magnificent even though it rained very less this year. Chobe day trip was excellent and all the transfers were smooth & nicely planned. The different operators you arranged were top class indeed. Again thanks to you Webster & Brighton for making this a memorable trip. Our regards to Enock, Lazarus & all. Highly recommended tour operator!Written April 15, 2024
- suewL3323ZZ0 contributionsA memorable experienceWe did the 8-day Victoria Falls, Chobe NP and Okavango Delta Safari and had the most amazing time. Everything was exactly as described in the itinerary and it all went off without a problem. We loved the variety of experiences this Safari offered: game drives, flat bottom dugouts in the delta, river cruises on the Zambezi and small boat trips. The guides were always knowledgeable and friendly. The accommodation was comfortable and even quite luxurious. The stay in Elephant Sands, with elephants wandering about so close to you, was a highlight. All the food was tasty and plentiful in all three accommodations. We did the optional helicopter flights in both Victoria Falls and Okavango Delta before we did the on-ground tours and would recommend them. It provided another perspective and also gave more understanding of your ground experience. We saw so many animals, insects and plant life. And all so close! We saw everything we had hoped to see except a leopard, which is notoriously difficult to find. Flying into Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and out of Maun in Botswana meant that we didn’t have too much time on the road – 31/2 hours was the longest drive. Thank you to Webster, Owen and team for a memorable experience.Written March 3, 2024

It may seem a little expensive, but it's worth it!!
First of all, he drove me from his hotel in Victoria falls town to Chobe National Park, and the driver was a very nice person and comfortable on the way.
First breakfast at the safari Guide's office and cafe.
We saw crocodiles and hippos on the boat cruise! I came all the way to Chobe, where the boat cruise is located, for a safari and I was right~!
After lunch, we were so excited to see so many elephants, giraffes, baby lions, zebras and even leopards on the afternoon game drive!!
It was quite a long time, five hours, but it was a lot to see.
After all, safari Guide are Pro. They also find animals that they would not be able to find on their own. 笑
They answered a lot of questions and it was fun.
We arrived at the camping site around 7pm and had dinner.
At the campsite, you can enjoy freshly prepared food prepared by the chef on the spot with wine.
After dinner, we had the luxury of sitting around the campfire chatting and gazing at the perfect starry sky.
There was no bed in the tent, but I could sleep comfortably with a thin mattress.
It was a thrilling night, feeling the sound of lions in the middle of the night and the presence of elephants in the vicinity.
The toilets I was worried about were two behind the tent, so they were fuzzy toilets.
When I'm done, I put sand on it, so it doesn't smell, but there are flies. (笑)
There is also one bathroom break during the safari game drive. It's a public toilet kind of place.
On the second day, we had breakfast, game drive,
Come back to the campsite at 11:00, have lunch,
Wait until 14:30.
You can take a temporary shower at this time.
It was a bit hard because this time was hot.
I'm glad I brought cold pita...
Then, while driving the game, they head back towards Victoria falls town, and so on.
On the way home, he gave me a beef pie and mandarin oranges for a snack.
The rice, which I honestly didn't expect at all, was all delicious.
There was good balance between the food in the office and cafe, the food in the camp, and the vegetables, and it tasted gentle and good.
If you're in Victoria falls town, I'd recommend a tour Guide here!
I feel safe because my boss's uncle is a nice guy with a kind smile.
(I'm not a spinner. lol

The game drive was exhilarating! I appreciated the thoroughness and the hard work the guide and assistant both put in to make the experience a very memorable one. Definitely unforgettable. Saw just about everything advertised except the Leopard, which can be an elusive animal. We did detect what the guide thought were Leopard tracks. Camping was exciting and a great way to see the animals that appear early in the morning and in the evening. Camping is probably the best way to see the most animals! The guide and assistant very friendly, polite, and helpful. This tour is highly recommended!

Absolutely unforgettable safari experience with DK Tours! We enjoyed a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and all the staff at DK Tours were professional and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We had so much fun on the 2-day safari to Chobe that we decided to do another game drive with DK Tours the following day to see the rhinos in Victoria Falls. Cannot recommend this company highly enough!

DK tours and safaris is a professional and reliable tour company. As I was searching through internet looking for tours which included camping in the park, there were not many tour companies that accepted single travelers. Even if I found companies that accepted single travelers, most of them were so slow in replying messages and some of them couldn’t even get my name right in the response. DK was one of the rare companies that responded in a short period of time and had my name right. Communication went smoothly which was an A+ since my booking was at last minute.
After I arrived in Vic Falls, I was picked up at my hotel next day in the morning at my accommodation. Webster who’s a tour consultant at the company came right on time and smoothly transferred me to the boarder. I was passed on to my guide, Vincent, for the safari there.
After entering Botswana, I first went for a 3 hour boat cruise. This was a great opportunity to see animals like crocodiles, hippos, buffalos, birds, elephants and iguanas. The guide for this boat cruise was Jack and he found animals for me that I could never had been able to find on my own and he would give me enjoyable information about the animals. He also helped me take pictures of myself with animals in the background which is kind a hard when you’re a single traveler. After the tour I was escorted to a restaurant near by for lunch. Here I had a chance to try some Botswana cuisine which I enjoyed. Lunch was included in the tour but you have to pay for the drinks(please note that you need Botswana currency here). After lunch Vincent the guide picked me up at the restaurant and started the journey to the Chobe National Park. My tour guide Vincent was just great. He was very knowledgeable about the animals in the park, he knew every path in the park, he stopped the car for me to take pictures or even turn the car for different angles and he was very pleasant to talk with. I saw many animals at the park such as elephants, buffalos, antelopes, baboons, warthogs, beautiful birds, giraffes, hippos and more!(tere were so many that I can’t even remember)
When the sun set, we moved to the camping area. The tent and dinner table was already set up. The food at the camp was good(which was spaghetti Bolognese, Greek Salad and dessert) and the bed in the tent was comfortable. When the sun went down and it was completely dark, the stars in the sky was breath taking, and it was a great experience sleeping to the cries of the hippos and crickets.
In the morning we went for another game drive. The advantage of staying overnight in the park is being able to wake up early and encounter the predators. I was able to see a striped jackal and a lion! This made me so happy since watching a lion was the main purpose of flying hundreds of miles and changing plains twice. After the morning game drive I had a continental breakfast and proceeded with the game drive for more animals.
The tour ended around 14:00. I wanted to buy some post cards and Vincent was kind enough to take me to a souvenir shop on the way back to the boarder!
Chobe Safari Park is a great place to visit if you like animals and nature. If you’re actually considering going, I strongly recommend you to let DK tours and safaris guide your way. They will provide you an amazing experience and you will make so many good memories that you can take home and share with your families and friends.

Can you tell me why you are approx $300 more expensive than other tours that offer same intinerary. I have always found Tripavisor to be competative in the past?
