Guide (Geoffrey) w Snow Africa made my first safari stellar! Highly responsive & flexible with strong desire to please.
I booked a private/solo 6-day safari with Snow Africa Adventures approximately 1.5 weeks before my safari was supposed to start. The company was very responsive with quotes, requests for changes, and requests for itinerary adjustments to help make my trip less stressful! I finished my hike on Kilimanjaro (with a different company) the day I was supposed to start my safari. Due to issues with the hike, I needed an extra day to recover before starting my adventure with Snow Africa, and the company helped to move the itinerary back a day -- not a small feat given the timeframe we were working with! I toured Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater Rim, Serengeti (Central and South/Ndutu), and Ngorongoro Crater over the course of 6 days with driver & guide, Geoffrey. In addition to being a fantastic conversationalist, Geoffrey has years of experience and a network of guides to rely on when the unexpected happens. We had some car issues when we reached the Serengeti, and Geoffrey organized another tour guide (from another company) to take me for a game drive while he focused on coordinating with the mechanics to fix our vehicle. Geoffrey not only fixed the car, but organized a replacement vehicle for the last day of our tour in the Ngorongoro Crater to ensure our safety in the crater! Geoffrey also helped teach me some fundamentals in Kiswahili to help me with the rest of my trip. If (OK, *WHEN*) I return to East Africa, I will not hesitate to connect with Geoffrey and/or the Snow Africa team to help organize my Tanzanian adventures!

Mount Kilimanjaro Climb via 8-Day Lemosho Route and Tarangire Safari
I embarked on the trip of a lifetime to climb Mount Kilimanjaro via the 8-day Lemosho Route. While there are so many big named companies out there with the fancy bells and whistles, I chose Snow Africa Adventures initially because they are locally owned and a member of KPAP. From my first inquiry, the owner Florent was incredibly patient and prompt in answering all my questions. As a solo female climber, I needed to have all my basis covered and my goodness they really delivered! I could write an entire book raving about the professionalism of this team but more importantly, they treated me like family. During this journey, I because little sister to my spectacular guide - Hussein, phenomenal cook - Chimbae, and the many hardworking porters - Steven AKA Mabula, Shaban AKA Pilot, Justin, Onesmo, Godchance, Emmanuel, Josephat, Jingu, and Frank; and driver Cyril. They all work in tandem and are a well oiled machine! I couldn't have made it to the top without them. I tear up thinking about the support I received from these guys! Booking with Snow Africa Adventures was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The company you choose can make or break your climb. It was a challenging climb but they made it so worth it! Even though we all wanted me to get to the summit, my health and safety was still paramount to them, and I am so thankful for that. I was also able to squeeze in a day of Safari at Tarangire National Park thanks to the recommendation from Florent. What a trip this was, I will never forget it!! Asante Sana, Snow Africa Adventures!!

Awesome time to the summit of Kili and down to Safari
I have been to Tanzania and climbed Kili 9 times in the past. I was working as a mountain guide then, so I am well rounded in knowing what to expect on the mountain. This time was special, I brought my wife and kids, who are 15 and 17. And I have a friend who brought his family also. So, 9 folks total on our expedition. We all made it safely to the summit and back down. Florent and his team of porters, guides, and cooks were critical to the success of our entire team both on the mountain and on Safari. They were kind and professional, and the food on mountain was fantastic. My son is sensitive to Gluten, so Joshua split his kitchen and cooked every meal for us separately so there were no problems. They also filtered water and made sure that we were well taken care of so no problems with anyone getting stomach sick. No one was sick on our team, we did experience some travelers diarrhea, but no real stomach bugs, which is also rare and a testament to how well his staff took care of all of us. This is the 2nd time I have worked with Florent and his team, they are stellar, I would not hesitate to recommend Snow Africa above any of the other folks I have worked with on the past, and I will continue to use his services for my next visit.

        Trek of a lifetime
The diversity of Kilimanjaro makes this trek an absolutely unforgettable one. Hussein was a knowledgeable, funny and supportive guide who made every effort to ensure clients enjoyed each day, regardless of conditions on the mountain (it's all part of embracing the adventure!). Being my first time at altitude, having sufficient time to acclimatise and a team that made sure clients were well setup and well fed everyday definitely made a difference. Thank you!

        Made my dreams come true!
I cannot express enough at how grateful I am to this team for making all of my dreams a reality. Everyone was absolutely amazing and I left Kilimanjaro with new friends and family. My guide Hussein was superb. He is an expert in the local flora and fauna. The team overall love what they do and have this passion about Kilimanjaro that becomes contagious. You cannot have a bad day with this group! I learned so much from my team and I would climb this mountain again with them in a heartbeat. As for Snow Africa Adventures, the owner Florent is absolutely excellent. Planning my very first solo trip to Africa was a bit of a daunting task but once I was in contact with Florent, I knew I was in great hands. He is marvelous, accommodating and communication was excellent. He put every worry I had to ease. The airline lost my luggage (surprise) and when I landed in JRO I was completely stressed, jet lagged and overwhelmed. Florent met me at the airport, assured me that I’ll get my luggage back and transferred me to my hotel. While I was sleeping so that I could acclimate to the change in time zones, Florent literally tracked my bags down, and ensured my bags were brought to my hotel immediately. I’ve never had that type of support from a travel company in my years of solo travel!!! What also impressed me is how much his teams (both safari and Kilimanjaro climb) truly enjoy working with him. Snow Africa Adventures is simply amazing and because of my experience with them my family and I are now planning a second trip back for a 2023 safari.

        Great Kili Adventure
I had a great experience with Snow Africa Adventures. Communication with me in Australia, on the otherside of the world, was perfect. Florent the owner and I checked in via email and WhatsApp regularly - he was always very clear, quick to respond and every question was answered. The mountain team were also fantastic. I was travelling on my own - we started the trip with me as a guest but finished it as good friends! Hussan my guide, has worked on the mountain for a long time - knew everyone, knew all there was to know, spoke excellent English and was great company for me. Our chef Joshua (now my 4th son apparently) and Sylvester I (there were 2 Sylvesters) my kind of personal assistant were fantastic. Joshua is a magician - the food he is able to produce with limited ingredients and facilities is just amazing and Sylvester made sure I was always comfortable and had everything I needed - we talked a lot.

        Amazing Once Agai !
I have now travelled with Snow Africa Adventures many times when I come twice yearly to volunteer in Arusha. Florent is not just the owner, but now our friend, and Colin and I look forward to meeting him each time. There are many companies to choose from, but with Snow Adventures, Florent is whom you deal with, and no matter how big or small your concern, Florent will be there along with his amazing guides to care for you. Colin also climbed Mt Kilimanjaro this trip, but that review I will leave for him. It is almost surreal to think that he has done it - I had my concerns, but thanks to Florent, what an amazing support team he had - thanks to you all!

Amazing hike with a great team
I did the 8 day Lemosho route with a friend and we had a great team from Snow Africa and it was a beautiful route. We both highly recommend Snow Africa. The porters, cook and guides looked after us so well. The food was amazing and Joshua did a fantastic job. Ben and Paul our guides were really caring especially on summit night. I don’t think we would have made it to the peak without them. the guides were really caring and without them as the altitude was rough. Very professional and friendly team that made our trip what it was.

Mt. Kili 6 Day Marangu Route Climb
My friends and I did the 6 day Marangu Route through Snow Africa Adventures and it was an amazing experience. We decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro for one of our friend's hen-do (bachelorette) and we all agreed that it was the best celebration ever, and it would not have been possible without Snow Africa Adventures. They were so accommodating of us even though there were several mishaps including missed flights and lost luggage. Once we started the trek though, the guides and porters were extremely helpful, made sure we had everything we needed (food, hot water, sleeping bags, etc) and were instrumental in helping most of us get to the peak. We definitely would not have had such a successful climb if it was not for this company and its extraordinary customer service and hospitality. 10/10 recommend Snow Africa Adventures to anyone!

        Kili climb
We did the 6 day Marangu route and Florent and the team were so accommodating as our friend missed her flight and so we had to do a 5.5 day trek. The climb was tough but the guides (2x Ben, Paul) chefs, porters were amazing! The food was amazing and we wouldn't have made it to the top without them. Definitely recommend them for the climb. So good

Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park
My husband and I enjoyed a 3-day Lodge Safari to Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park back in January 2022. Initially, it took us some time to decide which company to book a safari through, but in the end it was Florent's seamless, prompt and personable communication that made us feel very comfortable booking it through Snow Africa Adventures. We had the most wonderful time and we felt so grateful to have seen such an abundance of wildlife. Our guide was lovely and made us feel very safe, even when a cheetah jumped on our car! He also graciously managed to retrieve my mobile phone that I idiotically left at the National Park Reception Office. The accomodation was absolutely remarkable, and we wished we could have spent more time there. Even the daily packed lunch was delicious and well thought-out. I definitely recommend booking through Snow Africa Adventures. Thank-you again for such a wonderful time. We will cherish it forever.

Beautiful and Wonderful Memories from Tanzania
We were three guys on a six day private trip to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara Naational Parks in Tanzania hosted by Snow Africa Adventures. The itinerary was well arranged and went flawlessly with no hiccups, thanks to the great work by Florent who I worked while planning. Chiba our guide gave us an amazing time in the parks taking us on action packed trips. We saw all the big 5 plus a host of many other animals that he exceeded all our expectations. We stayed in luxury lodges and the people we found there were very kind and professional. Everything turned out much to be much better than had been described. We are grateful to Florent and the whole Snow Africa Adventures crew for creating and executing such an amazing adventure.

        Voyage époustouflant
First and foremost I have to mention that communication with Florent of Snow Africa Adventures via Email/Skype/Whatapp was really smooth. He was very helpful and flexible in tailoring our 7 day private Kilimandjaro Machame trek. The actual trek was epic and unforgettable with our crew who did an amazing job of guiding us to the top keeping us safe and looking after our needs with great food, warm comfortable tents to the highest standards possible. They taught us so much about safe mountaineering, the animals, plants and different people of Tanzania. The last stretch of the trek to the summit was tough struggling with mild AWS and we were lucky to have expert crew who patiently assisted and supported us to Uhuru Peak. We are thinking of returning to Tanzania for another Adventure and hopefully Florent and your team will host us again
