Four days of a fabulous day trip from Arusha National Parks with Mfalme Adventures to be sure that we saw as much as we could in and around Moshi was a great experience! Our booking experience was easy and very pleasant and their prices were very competitive with other tour companies we looked into. We were picked up at our arranged time from our hotel and our guides were laid back but knowledgeable and appeared excited to spend the day with us. Our first day trip was to the Marangu Waterfall and our guide was Josef and the driver was Emmanuel Asseno. First, we stopped at Hillborn Organic Coffee to learn about local organic coffee production and have a cup of the best coffee I've ever had (that we helped make from scratch pretty much!).

I had the pleasure of climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro with Emanuel Asseno and team this past summer via the Lemosho Route. In and around Moshi and then on the mountain, Asseno loomed just as large as Kilimanjaro -- he's known and respected by so many of the porters, mountain guides, and agency owners. From the client experience side, it's easy to understand why: he's congenial, knowledgeable, and determined to help his clients reach the summit. Even when I had a mild altitude sickness episode midway up on summit day at 3 am, he motivated me to put mind over matter and successfully push to the top. I strongly encourage prospective visitors to Tanzania to consider Asseno and his Mfalme Adventures outfit to help guide them to the Roof of Africa!

My day was a day to the mountain . from the hotel to the Kilimanjaro i had learn a lot about the people around the mountain , the behavior of the mountain . it was a sunny day with no sign of rain guess what when we were on our way down we needed those rain coat that i was asking myself for what . i spent the day up the mountain good meditation , good sound made by those big trees. you could feel the good spirit of the mountain . Thanks for the hospitality of my friend Asseno you are a true library of the mountain and what you do . Salute as i was true home away from home . Salute warrior from South Afrika.

My friends and I completed a 6-day trek up Kilimanjaro with Emanuel and his team. The experience was amazing!! From the beginning until the end, safety was paramount and the team had extensive equipment and first aid training to take care of us and get us all safely up and down the mountain. The guides were trustworthy, supportive and encouraging. We underestimated the physical and mental challenges of the hike, but Emanuel and team were there every step of the way to teach us about their beautiful culture, cook gourmet food, and teach us songs to inspire us. When I injured my foot and could hardly walk, Emanuel practically carried me all the way back down the mountain and waited patiently for me when I fell behind the group. The trip was affordable, extremely comfortable and well-planned, and absolutely beautiful. Never have I seem such beautiful stars as we saw on summit night. Highly recommend!!! Once in a lifetime experience with incredible local expert guides!
