We had a fantastic trip to Nyerere park some months ago. Everything was just perfect. Not only the park itself which felt very privat and special, but also the team of TanzAmerica Safaris. Very service minded company. They replied very quickly to all our questions when we started to search for the best options. After we decided they organised the details and included all our extra wishes. We can strongly recommend them and will hopefully do another tour with them in the future. Especially big thanks to Silas who made the trip unforgettable, and a life time experience.

Our group of four (two couples) had a great safari at Mikumi and Ruaha National Parks in Tanzania with TanzAmerica. I can’t imagine a better safari guide than Silas-young and knowledgeable, always smiling, prompt and happy to drive for hour after hour. Silas clearly loves his job as a safari guide. He even stayed with us at the airport until 2AM before our flight home even though his job was done hours earlier. Joshua guided us in planning our custom trip with an add-on in Zanzibar. He is always available for consultation from his office in the USA and I think his prices are very reasonable. We spent six night at Ruaha River Lodge which was fantastic. We rode one way with Silas from the airport in Dar es Salaam and flew back to Zanzibar from Ruaha. Note that it’s a long drive on a narrow highway with bumper-to-bumper trucks. It’s a great way to see the daily lives of Tanzanian people, but If you’re a white knuckle passenger you might want to fly to the parks. Silas will be there to meet you. From start to finish this tour was amazing. Alvin, our guide was exceptional. He knew so much about the animals and made sure we saw everything we wanted to see. Can't recommend it enough.

Having traveled Tanzania for 5 months and been to couple of safaris, I owe this review to Silas for the 'experience of a lifetime' as his caption says. Including everything every safaris offer, be it close range view of animals, great choice of accommodation or seeing all major animals. What surprised me the most was the excess of knowledge he possessed about the flora and fauna of the NP. From animals to birds, about his country to local cultural interests, he gives an impression of a well read and well equipped guide. And he was able to read our vibe through out the trip. It was definitely one hell of a day brother considering the safari and after safari and dinner. We have done many safaris with Silas, we are expats in Tanzania. We usually go to Mikumi, it's closest for us and it is one of the most scenic and animal-dense parks. But he is also certified for Ruaha (also scenic and amazing!) and some other national parks. I really should write a review for each safari because Silas deserves it. He is an excellent guide and makes each safari special. In fact, first we ask if he is available, and if not, we postpone our safari weekend. He is that good. He is passionate about going on safari and also the only guide here who loves and knows about birds. What sets Silas apart is his dedication to ensuring we have the best experience. We prefer a relaxed day without too much driving. He makes sure he is in the best place where wildlife comes to us. He knows where elephant or giraffe are going to cross. He parks us in the shade at the hippo pool and serves coffee and goodies with folding chairs and tables. He understands how to make sure you get the best photos. Enough said, don't make do with other guides, most of which are like Uber drivers who like the dollars more than the animals. Pick Silas.

We styed at Mantis lodge and had problem to drive from the mainroad because of rain. We got help from a very nice man ,Silas to reach the lodge. Silas was our guide the following day in Mikumi park. He did a great job and he was very knowledgeable on all animals . He was patient he was kind and he made the most of the day. We saw lots of animals thanks to him. He was a good driver and we felt safe going with him. As i have lived in Tanzania for many years and visit many parks in both Kenya and Tanzania and Silas is the nicest guide i had.

Silas did a great job facilitating our planned safari. The organization and planning was done very transparent as is stated on their site. From pickup to dropoff, it went as a breeze, he did the extra effort to make us see as much animals as possible while also taking the time to have a chat and a coffee

This was such a beautiful experience! My friend and I were searching for a good single day safari and this was the perfect choice. As two young women traveling by ourselves, we wanted to ensure we could find a safe safari that included transportation from Dar Es Salaam and we found it with this company. Our driver Felix was incredibly friendly and got us too and from the park smoothly. Our guide Silas was amazing and full of knowledge. He answered all of our questions and went the extra mile to ensure we had a chance to see all our favourite animals. I cannot recommend this company enough! They made the whole experience easy and unforgettable.

It was an amazing tour with two super guides Silas and Lewis. They told us so much nice details of the animals and nature.
