We went to Mikumi and Ruaha for six days with Hamad. I've done safaris in at least seven different countries, and he was among the best, most knowledgeable, environmentalist, and flexible guides I've ever had. We were able to carry out one of my favorite pastimes, night game drives, thanks to special permission from the manager of Ruaha Park. He was especially cautious because we were taking two kids on our trip. Besides, he had great connections and could arrange side trips on the breathtaking drives in southern Tanzania. When my wife and I chose to go on safari with Kumekucha Africa Tour, we made an excellent decision. What an amazing journey, what a remarkable experience.It was great how they transported us to a beautiful park in Selous. It was more than we could have ever dreamed of, and it left us with unforgettable memories. We saw three of the Big Five plus more when we spotted buffalo, elephants, and lions from a distance, which was our objective.The boat safari, which included a variety of birds and hippos, was also excellent. Super nice tour and Bakari is a great guide, very plesant, friendly. All 3 elements were nice in different ways- the game drive, walking safari and boat safari. Saw many animals, even lion, and the park was nice and quiet thanks to low season. Lodge was great too. Good communication with the company on WhatsApp. Only minus is that the car didn’t have AC so it was very hot and I got dusty since we had to drive with the windows open all the way from DSM.
