Everything on this trip exceeded our expectations. The booking process was easy and the communication with Rama in advance helpful and quick.
The trip to and from Gombe was well organised.
The stay at Gombe Resthouse is in the most amazing setting right in the park, on the shore of lake Tanginyka. Baboons are regular visitors in the camp :-) The basic accomodation offers amazing views over the lake and forest. The setting is magical! You can walk along the beach, go for swims and have a cold beer while watching the sun go down.
The highlight, of course, was the chimpanzee trekking. We had the chance to watch several groups. Absolutely mindblowing and an experience of a life time!!! (bring water proofs and hiking boots)
We ordered veggie food and had delicious meals cooked for us.
We absolutely recommend to visit Gombe NP and to book the tour with Gecko Adventure.

We will be in Moshi/Arusha before we come to Gombe. Can we start and end our trip at JRO airport instead of Dar Es Salam?
Also, where are accommodations in the park?
