D'abord prendre le temps de longer la côte marocaine, Asilah vaut la visite, comme les routes de corniche en balcon sur le détroit de Gibraltar depuis le cap Spartel à l'Ouest de Tanger et également après Tanger (superbe ville mais pas si vaste, il faut au moins une soirée et une large matinée jusqu'à 15 h pour ressentir l'âme des lieux) jusqu'à Tanger Med où un parking permet la vue sur le Grand Port, ses navires, son activité, ensuite la montée vers Ceuta est magnifique. Redescendre vers la route côtière bordée d'hôtels luxueux qu'on n'attendrait pas au Maroc ! Nos étapes suivantes furent : nuit à Tétouan, tb, Fès via Chefchaouen pour trois journées consacrées aux villes impériales (logement en riad). Middelt qui coupe bien la route vers le désert du Sud, puis traversée du Sud marocain vers l'Ouest, beaucoup trop de route mais des pépites, ponctuellement. Telouet gagnée par la route de montagne, carrément superbe, avant de redescendre sur Marrakech. Il faut une grande journée consacrée uniquement à la visite de Marrakech. Nous avions choisi de visiter cette ville en début de séjour. On pourra y revenir.
