This is a great tour. So glad we booked it. We had 10 people in the van. Hanza, Ali’s brother was our guide. He did a great job. All stops were very interesting. We got a good flavor of the history and culture. Our tour included a special delicious breakfast with coffee or mint tea. The camel ride was so much fun. The walk through the old town was interesting. The market was fun. I highly recommend this tour. Ali was great to work with the months before the tour. And day of tour was more than we expected.

This tour is the best way to see Tangiers in just one day. Every stop on the itinerary gave us a taste of the local culture and history. We also had an outstanding breakfast and lunch! Exceptional experience on our Luxury Private Tour to Tangier, from Gibraltar. Ali's communication even before we arrived to Gibratar was phenomenal. He provided detailed instructions as to where we had to be for pick-up in Gibraltar, to a well-laid out itinerary, to meeting us along the way in Tangier during our tour to make sure all needs were being met. We had the best guide in Tangier, "Coca Cola" (his nickname since childhood) who was our tour guide, photographer, storyteller, guardian, and host throughout the day. You MUST ask for Coca Cola if you plan on taking a tour of Tangier. There's no better Guide! It's a long day from Gibraltar, but so worth it. We were picked up by a super friendly and professional taxi driver, Juan, who drove us to Tarifa. The pick-up point was at the Burger King, just outside of the Gibraltar Passport Control Point, on the Spanish side. This was arranged by Ali, and all communicated by WhatsApp. So efficient. The ferry to Tangier is about 90min. Juan provided us with the Moroccan Customs slips which ypu needed to complete, as they process ypu on the way over. The queue starts on the port forward side (left side) of the Cafe counter just as the ferry leaves port. No need to rush up, you can wait until the line dies down. Once we arrived, and cleared the Customs and Security booths, Coca Cola was there with sign (with my name) to meet us. From there, my wife and I were driven in a luxury Mercedes van with a wonderful young driver, and Coca Cola in the passenger seat providing us A-Class service as our tour guide. He covered all the points laid out in our itinerary (I.e. Cap Spartal, Hercules Cave, An awesome camelride on the beach, etc), along with two wonderful meals: a breakfast along the way and a great late-lunch in the market,both with authentic Moroccan delights. They have timelines to meet so you see all the sites, but you never feel rushed. NOTE: If you're looking for an opportunity to wander the market to shop, this isn't the tour for you. You get to visit a rug, ceramic/jewelry, and spice shop. Specifically in the rug shop, if you're not interested in purchasing an item, let them know right away so as to not waste their/your time. The whole day was marvelous and was perfect for us in capturing what we wanted to see. I can't imagine doing it any other way, but through Ali!? Coca Cola got us back to the ferry with plenty of time to catch our ferry. The whole time and experience was safe at every step and all our needs were met. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! And if you arrange a tour, ask for Coca Cola, he's the best guide in the city!!!

We had the best time on a private tour with Abdul. He was wonderful with our kids and met all our requests. He was very knowledgeable with the area and was super easy to communicate with. 100% recommend this tour.

My family of 5 went to Tangier for the day from Spain. We only booked 2 days in advance through Ali tours and they were nothing but amazing. They booked our ferry and sent the tickets via whats app. It was all very seamless. Then Haamza greeted us at the terminal and with the fabulous driver Abdul proceeded to spend the next 8 hours educating and entertaining us in a comfortable, air conditioned van. We toured through Tangier, learning all about its history and visited many sites. We were feed a traditional Moroccan breakfast which was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed the camel rides on the beach and the cave visits. All this was included and we didn't have to queue for anything!! Then it was back to Tangier old town for a walking tour , traditional lunch (extra) and shopping. Haamza was absolutely brilliant and was a real credit to the company. He really took care of us and we felt very safe at all times. We couldn't have asked for a better tour. Thank you Ali tours.

We had this tour booked months in advance of our trip. It was cancelled out of the blue with no explanation or reply to my inquiry just a few weeks before our trip. Now it’s impossible to find a reputable tour guide for a private tour. Buyer beware!

We went to Morocco to explore. We were met by Coca-cola that man the myth the legend. Very educational and polite. From the start asked us our interest and provided us with a world full of knowledge with regards to the sites we were passing. On the tour we met Ali the owner who possesses a bright personality. We were done with our tour early so we wanted to change our ferry ticket. The company said no and Coca-cola waited with us and Ali came to persuade them to change our ticket. All in a very professional manner. Would you recommend this tour.

Really enjoyed our tour of Tangier with Abdul. He's a great guide - very knowledgeable about his country and more than willing to share his wealth of experience. We saw so many great sites and heard so many stories that it's impossible to recount them all here. No one place or thing was a highlight above all the great places and things we saw, but our snack at the Andalucia Hill Restaurant, right after our visit to the Hercules Caves, was something we'll always remember. What incredible food and tea!! We were treated like royalty by both Abdul and our driver, Rafiq, throughout our tour and we're thankful to them for the great memories we'll bring away from such a beautiful culture. I give this tour 100 out of 100! If you get a chance to be shown Tangier by Abdul and Rafiq, take it.

Labbardi Abdelmajio taught us more about Tangier than we can ever remember! He is a brilliant guide and very flexible when we asked to do things off the tour. He is a national guide, so can take tours anywhere in Morocco. This was a private tour. This was our 3rd time to Tangier and the most informative. From the Casbah to the point where the Mediterranean and Atlantic waters meet, Hercules cave through city neighborhoods and the Medina. He explained that the Muslims, Christians and Jews live in complete harmony. We had an experience with snake handlers putting snakes on us. Absolutely extraordinary! The driver was quite safe and friendly.

Tangier was the last stop on our 9-night cruise and also our favorite stop, in part because of our wonderful guide! He showed us some amazing spots and even stopped at a beautiful park so our kids could burn some energy. I couldn't recommend them enough!

We booked this tour with Ali after my friends had a horrible experience with one of the different tours in Tangier the day before. Because I had booked the private tour in Tangier and had a magical day with Abdul. We dropped the other tour company even though we still had to pay, because going with Abdul was worth the cost to get as much out of the day as possible Abdul made the blue city a magical experience, he knows all of the ins and outs and the history of everything to make your day perfect. I can't thank them enough for an amazing time in Morocco and would tell you to book any and everything for Morocco through Ali Tangier Tours, but you MUST request that you get Abdul- he is the magic behind the visit with flawless English, a knowledge of history, and he's got a "guy" everywhere that will know how to make your day perfect. You will fall in love with Morocco and gain a family member if you book with Abdul!

I can’t begin to describe how amazing Abdul was as our guide! My daughter and I originally booked with another guide as we wanted to do a different excursion than our friend on the first day. Our experiences couldn’t have been more different. Her tour with Abdul was amazing and ours was less than we expected- much less. For day 2, we decided to just ask Abdul if we would be willing to do another private tour to the Blue City. We gave up the money we paid to the other guide and it was the best choice we could made. Our entire trip was amazing because of the attention to detail and care Abdul put in to taking us exactly where we wanted to go- including a stop for delicious breakfast and much needed coffee at a local treasure. He picked us up, dropped us off, helped us shop and get “local prices”, took us to the best restaurants for our meals and catered to everything we wanted to do. Do NOT go to Tangier or anywhere near there without calling Ali tours and asking for Abdul! Tell him “two ladies and a Margo” sent you! You will NOT regret it!

I wanted to see everything that I could in our short time in Tangier, little did I know that they would absolutely save our trip. First of all, Ali called to let me know that we were coming to the wrong port. He arranged pick up for me and my friends an hour away since we couldn't change plans. We would have been lost without that. Then the guide that comes to pick us up just happens to be one of the best human beings in the world- Abdul. Abdul instantly made us feel at ease after a stressful transfer over. Got us safely checked into our Air BnB and then my friends had booked a different excursion and Abdul and I set off on our own. He was concerned about them, because there aren't very many good guides that really take care of people and he was right. I had the most perfect day with Abdul, he speaks fluent English, knew the history of everything and the area and was so friendly. My friends had a guide that spoke little to no English and would just drop them off at a site where they didn't even know what to do or where to go, so they missed everything and had no information on what it was they were even looking at. Abdul was very worried they would have a guide that would take advantage of them on shopping and they did. Where Abdul got me the best rates everywhere, they were gouged by vendors. Abdul is the BEST of the BEST and I have been on a lot of tours and I am a history teacher, he is so rich in information and sharing his culture, it is a priceless experience if you really want to take in the whole part of being in Tangier. I got home hours after my friends and couldn't stop raving about all I saw, all I learned, the amazing places we stopped to eat at, and how Abdul has connections everywhere, so while others were driving around waiting for parking, or how to get in, he could simply wave his hand and make magic happen so we got in and out of places first, I even mentioned as we were leaving oh, I wish I would have gotten a green djellaba for my son. He got on the phone, I didn't know what he was even saying, but as we were driving along the road all of a sudden we stop, a man has multiple ones for me to choose from that were perfect. He is an absolute magician on the magic we will make of your trip. I feel like I have gained a family member- a brother with Abdul. My friends were so sad they had such a terrible time when they could have been with Abdul and then worried because we had booked another tour to the blue city for the next day and it might be a bust again, that we all decided we would just eat that cost and booked the blue city with Abdul for the next day, because he was more than worth it! He was a magician there and we had to have had the best spot in the city for an amazing view of the Medina when we ate. Magically parking while everyone else was struggling, etc.... it was perfection and my friends were so happy after a horrible day with a different tour company the day before. So, now that our tour was over, we had the headache to figure out of how we were going to get all the way back to the port that was over an hour away. There are no Ubers in Tangier. We had to leave by 2AM to get our 4AM departure and guess who was to the rescue- our angel in Morocco Abdul! He stayed up after two long days of guiding us to take us to the port and get us as far as he possibly could through the ferry system to make sure we were safe and good to go and boarded just in case something happened. NO one does service like that anymore, he is the best!!!! I 150% recommend Ali Tangier Tours- but you MUST request Abdul for your guide, there isn't a better guide in Morocco and probably the world than Abdul. You won't regret it and you will get a true magical Moroccan experience if you have Abdul. I can not say enough good things about him. I think of him as family and my brother for how well he has taken care of us.

We toured Tangiers with Abdul. He was wonderful- so knowledgeable and friendly. We had a wonderful time seeing the sights and riding the camels! Tangiers can be a bit overwhelming without a guide, so very glad we did it. A word of experience, Friday is a religious day in morocco so the market and kasbah museum were closed. I would recommend not doing the tour on a Friday.
