This was the first time we travelled to Morocco and we wanted to experience the best of the country. We had an amazing experience thanks to our guide- Omar. If we had tried to do it ourselves without a guide, we would have never been able to see & experience what we did with Omar. He was our lead guide for the entire trip. What made it even more interesting was in many of the cities we stopped in, we were greeted by a local guide who was able to provide a deep experience of the city he lived in. We had a wonderful group from different walks of life and from different countries. We got along famously. We were all there to experience the culture, the people, and the history of this wonderful country. We hope to come again.

We climbed mount Toubkal as a pair of friends and were put in a group with 7 other travellers. This trip is fantastic value and I highly recommend it as an experience although communication before and during the trip would have made it much smoother and safer. We attended during a red weather warning with -25degree temperatures and 65km/hr winds at the summit forecast. Despite the terrible weather the trek up is a lovely long smooth walk which almost anyone is capable of. Unfortunately most of our group were inexperienced hikers and they had not been sent much of a kit list but were told they must hire equipment in Imlil. The hiring took over an hour with so much to do and then the group were yelled at by Omar for this taking so long despite them being fully compliant with all requests from the guides. It was all very hectic and when it was flagged up that none of them had sleeping bags they were told that they would be given them at the refuge at the top. The food on the way up was excellent local cuisine and there are plenty of shops along the way to get water, chocolate and drinks making it a fantastic mountain for tourists. The guides organised food and led the way but with limited English they didn’t communicate much with the group. When one person in the group struggled loads to keep a reasonable pace they took her bag and had a passing mule carry it to the refuge. The refuge gave us a brilliant meal once again but it was a basic building with bunkbeds and no heating. At -18 degrees it was cold and I was the only one with a sleeping bag. The rest of the group were supplied with a think blanket each leading to a cold night and limited sleep for most. The guides were kind, knowledgable and helpful, they fitted crampons for everyone and when people struggled they supported them to keep going then took people down the mountain. The only issue is that they couldn’t give training on how to better use crampons or essential knowledge that most of the group lacked

Great tour of the Atlas Mountains, beautiful views and a delicious lunch in the village. Amazing tour guide and friendly service all day long.

A great hike thanks to our guide Yassine! We were only 2 people in total, which made the the trip feel pretty private. From the pick-up to the summit: everything went smooth. What I like the most, besides the incredibly beautiful view of the sunrise, was, how much Hassan told us about the Berber culture and other interesting facts about the Atlas mountains, the morrocon culture and general mountaineering knowledge. It was my first 4000er and I never used crampons, hiking poles or an ice axe before, but thanks to Hassan everything went save and sound!

What a great trip. It's hard to find tours of Toukbal in the winter, but Omar was super super helpful and amended my tour to suit my requirements (I had a million questions and he was very patient with me!). The climb was hard but so worth it, food was great and it was super organised and the local guides are so polite and knowledgeable. As a solo traveler female you read a lot about being careful on tours or being alone with the guides, on the last day I was completely alone with my lovely guide Ayoub and he made me feel so comfortable, he was generous with his time and showed me his families home. Can't fault it for a safe, fulfilling and unforgettable experience!

Yassim, our guide for the mountain, was fantastic. The food prepared for the hike was very good. Omar was very responsive and took care of everything for all 5 days.

Overall, it was a positive experience, with the trek offering stunning scenery. We took several breaks, and the included meals were delicious. However, due to heavy rainfall, we were unable to reach the peak. While I understand that this was beyond the guide's control, I believe earlier and more transparent communication about the situation would have been helpful. Additionally, it would be beneficial if the tour organizer provided more detailed information about necessary equipment prior days in advance. For example, I had to rent gloves and a head lamp from the guide (10€), but would have brought my own had I known they were needed. My gear (October) consisted of the following: - hiking boots - t-shirt and sweater - insulated jacked - rain jacket - cap - rented gloves - rented headlamp - no sleeping bag required

We just finished the 4 day Sahara tour from Marrakech with Omar Adventures and it was fantastic! We only confirmed the tour about a week before we started and Omar was great at setting it up and giving details. All the hotels/riads we stayed at had amazing views and good food and service. The camel ride was definitely a highlight and felt almost surreal. Our driver Saaid was a great driver, very safe and was friendly and helpful with our little 3yo! It was quite relaxed and we could choose to stop and find a toilet or get food when we needed. The spacious air con van was also much appreciated. Overall was a great way to see a fair bit of Morocco and its culture in a short time, would highly recommend Omar and hopefully we can make it back here again☺️

The whole trip would have been a great success if not for the events on the way back to Marrakesh, which unfortunately completely destroyed the image of this company. Initially, in Ilmil, the taxi driver sent for us agreed to take us to the indicated address in Marrakesh. On the way, he and Omar demanded an additional fee of 150MAD (initially 200) for a supposedly additional few miles. This amount is significantly higher than the cost of a taxi for a similar distance in my city in England. We were blackmailed that he would leave us on the outskirts of Marrakesh if we did not pay. I do not recommend this organizer.

Excellent trip, with excellent guides, food and transportation. We were well looked after throughout the whole experience. We were lucky that all the people on the trip had a good level of fitness which always makes it more enjoyable. However, being experienced hikers we knew the type of kit we would need to be able to hike comfortably. Some didn’t have appropriate clothing and suffered with the cold, which is potentially dangerous. I would recommend a kit list. Hiking poles, head torch, warm full length trousers, long sleeved base layer, warm mid layer, windproof jacket, winter gloves, warm hat.

The hike was great, everything went smoothly. You just need to enjoy the mountains, everything is well organised!!!!!

Really good guide! Great communication. Unfortunately I was ill during so couldn’t get to the peak but Omar was great and helped me get to the camp.

I completed a two-day climb to Mount Toubkal, and the entire trip was fantastic. Initially, it was supposed to be two of us with a guide, but on the first day, my fellow climber found it too challenging and decided not to continue. This left just me and our guide, Yassin. Yassin was exceptional. He matched my pace perfectly, was incredibly encouraging, and had a great sense of humor. His ability to speak four different languages added a unique and impressive touch to the experience. Yassin's guidance and support truly made the climb enjoyable and memorable. I had the best time ever on this trip and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. I highly recommend this climb and Omar Adventures as everything was organized well, food was good (thanks to cook Hassan), comms were great.

Had a great time! Our guide was really nice and the meals were all very good the accommodation is a bit rustic so make sure you bring toilet paper and a towel and other hiking supplies!
