- mariads_martins980 contributionsLovely day at atlas mountainsWe've spent a lovely day with Rabiaa as a guide! She explained perfecty everything we were seeing and was always there to help us getting the best experience. It was really perfect! We had so much fun camel riding with typical outfits, learning more about argan oil production by the berbere comunity, visiting the village and the seeing rhe beautiful sights at the atlas mountains. Would recomend, 10/10 ⭐️Written September 11, 2024

- Global413468639310 contributionsAmazing Atlas Mountains day trip with Badr the guide. We had a great day out with 2 other couples. Badr was a fantastic guide. First stop was for tea and to get kitted out in turbans and robes for a camel ride. He then drove us to an argan oil cooperative where we had breakfast and a tour to see how the products are made and opportunity to buy if you wanted. Then on to a stop off at a large market before heading out to trek up to a waterfall in the mountains. This was followed by lunch of chicken tagine, vegetables, couscous, salad and bread. The trip was a full day. We travelled through Berber villages where you could see the devastating effect of 2023 earthquake. Amazing value with all food included and a fun, information guide. Totally recommend the trip and Badr our guide. Brilliant day. Thanks.Written July 13, 2024
- L9156AVmiguelf0 contributionsFeeling the berber lifeAmazing experience from the beggining until the end. The driver Abdul kept us safe during the day. The guide Omar did an awesome job making memories for us. We recommend this tour 100%Written April 5, 2024
- 267catherineu0 contributions10/10 Atlas Mountains tour! This trip was what we wanted and more. The driver arrived very promptly to collect us, we headed into the mountains, wore traditional dress for a camel ride, had Moroccan tea on a rooftop, headed further up the mountain and stopped to take in the views, had breakfast (delicious bread and oils) at the women’s cooperative, where they make the oils, headed to Imlil, did a short hike (2.6k) to the waterfall and then had lunch, with the peak of the Atlas mountain in view, all expertly guided by Omar Imzilen. He was very informative, helpful and hospitable. A very memorable day, thank you to Omar and our driver!Written March 22, 2024
- Jason F0 contributionsGood value, quality food, genuine experienceFantastic day out with our guide Omar Imzilen. Light breakfast with the ladies making Argan oil. Then a hike up to a waterfall followed by a really great lunch at Omar's family home. Excellent food. Then afterwards a drive to the camel trek. This felt like a genuine experience. Back to our Riad for 6pm. Omar was very knowledgeable and kind. Very good value for money.Written March 14, 2024
- NIGELDBW0 contributionsA brilliant day trip with OMAR as our guideMy wife and I had a fab day our from the hussle and hussle of Medina life to the mountains with viator tours via trip advisor. Omar was our guide who was fluent in three languages and gave a great tour. Highly recommended and great value for money!Written March 9, 2024
- Mashaksenja0 contributionsAn Awesome Atlas Mountains Adventure! We had an incredible day in the Atlas mountains with our guide, Mustapha, who knew everything about everything and didn't mind us bombarding him with questions all day. We learned so much about Moroccan culture in just one day – way more than we ever thought we would! The excursion had it all – we rode dromedaries (Moroccan camels) dressed up in cool traditional gear, checked out a women's Argan cooperative, did an hour-long hike to a gorgeous waterfall in the Atlas Mountains, and finished off with the most amazing homemade lunch. Highly recommend it!Written March 8, 2024

Excellent guide Ismail who was very friendly, informative and managed the day faultlessly. Great driver - sorry I didnt catch his name. We saw so many varied places. The lunch was delicious and plentiful. Lovely walk to the waterfalls. Camel ride was great fun and well organised. We couldn’t believe what good value this trip was. - battersbymd0 contributionsBest value tour we’ve ever been onAbsolutely amazing day. As our hotel wasn’t on their list we had to enquire if they could pick us up and luckily they could. So an early start but was picked up promptly by Omar and Abdul at 8am. Once we went back into town we picked up the other guests pretty quickly and we were off. There was a mixture of people from different countries but the common language was English so Omar didn’t have to do the tour in different languages. First stop was the Berber market, which is only open on Tuesdays. We had a look around and then a short stop to pick up water for us all and then a tour of a local Argan oil cooperative and breakfast of hot bread and sweet tea. Then it was a long drive up to near the village Omar lives in and the hike to and from the waterfall. The walk wasn’t too bad but certain bits were slippery but Omar helped those that needed it. Next onto Omar’s house, which had absolutely amazing views of the Atlas Mountains. Lunch was superb, the best meal we had on our whole holiday. It was chicken tagline, cous cous, salad and water. Omar was really knowledgable all day and took time at every stop to cover the important bits. After lunch, another long drive the last part of the trip; the camel ride. Glad we did it but at the time thought it was pretty scary, but you can opt out if you want to. More sweet tea was given to this while Omar told us about the camels. One other impressive this was there were toilets available pretty much every place we stopped. Another long drive and last to be dropped off so a very long day but as mentioned the best value trip we’ve ever been on. They could possibly be a bit quicker on certain bits to cut down on the day, but there were a couple of people who took longer to walk so possibly they were giving them recovery time. I have no idea how they managed to do the trip for the cost we were charged, so I would urge you to leave as big a tip as possible to help the company thrive. Unfortunately, we were the last off the mini bus and was really disappointed by the lack of people giving any tips. Thanks again Omar and Abdul.Written February 18, 2024
- jakhere0 contributionsFun day out with that real Marrakech experience!Great driver I ran and tour guide Jamal who spoke perfect English. Fun day out with the camel ride, waterfall hike and the most delicious tagine lunch. A day not to be missed and a great deal compared those sold to you in the hotel!Written February 1, 2024
- Q1661EAdanielw0 contributionsWhat an amazing day out!Mustafa and the driver were great. Mustafa was so kind, accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly that it made the trip really enjoyable. The trip is amazing value for money. Breakfast lunch and refreshments are provided and are good sized portions and very tasty. Nothing was too much trouble. I’m not a fan of drinking water and Mustafa walked for 10 minutes to get me a bottle of cola to have with the lunch. My mother in law is vegetarian and this had no detrimental effect on the amount of food or variety she received. Please note that the walk/hike element of the trip is fairly hard going and would not be suitable for people with limited mobility or who are unfit. The terrain is uneven and narrow at points especially approaching the waterfall. Suitable sturdy footwear should be worn for this part and not flip flops / slides / sandals. However it’s 100% worth it because the waterfall is stunning. It would be a good idea to have some local currency on you as there are a number of shops (some which take card / euros) on the trip that you visit, but at the waterfall you can purchase light refreshments but local currency is required to do so. The Camel (Dromedary) ride is excellent and you have the option of wearing the local clothing for the perfect photo ‘for the gram’. The vehicle used for the trip is good quality, air conditioned with comfortable seats. All in all this trip far exceeded our expectations (6 of us with ages ranging from 15 to 60 and a mixture of males and females) so much so that we gave Mustafa a 400 dirham tip at the end.Written January 30, 2024
- safeerahh0 contributionsAmazing ExperienceThis was an absolutely AMAZING experience. We got picked up right from our hotel and the minibus was very modern and air conditioned. We stopped at 2 places for tea, we had a light breakfast at an argan oil co-operative and was taught all about argan. The hike up the mountains was tough but manageable. Mustafa was a really good tour guide, explaining everything in good detail. His friend Jemal was also really good and patient when we were going up the mountain. The views along the way were spectacular and the camel ride made the experience even better. The food we ate at Mustafas house in the mountains was so tasty and was the best tagine I've had in Morocco.Written January 4, 2024
- L4806RHdavida0 contributionsAmazing & unique experienceThe trip to the Atlas Mountains were amazing, we were picked from our riad on time and proceeded to pick other travelers, we were a mix of French speaking and English speaking group and our guide Omer Imzilen would change between both languages and explain everything related to the region and history of the country (even extra questions from our side). We went to a waterfall (long, but nice walk) in his village, don’t forget to try the orange juice there it is great. The end of the trip was a Omer’s family place, his mother and grandmother cooked spectacular food for the whole group. There weren’t any surprises in terms of extra costs during the trip everything that is stated in the agenda and itinerary is there. I would totally recommend anyone to have this local experience with Omer and his family.Written December 6, 2023
