About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- laurenwY6314OR0 contributionsQuad Bike in Palm GroveSo much fun! Great way to spend a few hours of your time in Marrakech. Pick up and drop off was easy. We stopped for tea halfway through the ATV ride which was super nice!Written November 25, 2024
- F9748MUcharlesm0 contributionsTop Marks. Can’t fault it. Professional service. Can’t fault this. Very professional and good sense of humor from the guys. Free pick up from my hotel also which was outside of the city so that was a nice gesture. Our guide also took some lovely photos. Top marks!Written November 18, 2024
- easyatlastours0 contributionsAIT BEN HADDOU KASBAHThe views from the top of the kasbah were breathtaking, offering a panoramic vista of the surrounding valleys and the Ounila River. Our guide shared fascinating stories about the kasbah’s role in history and its use as a filming location for many famous movies.Written November 15, 2024
- mollyQuel0 contributionsLong day but worth it!We booked this private tour for our group of 6. It was a very long drive - it took 4 hours each way. The weather at the start and end of the day was misty and wet. Our driver Yasin did a great job - he drove safely and skill fully along the winding route. We made stops along the route at panoramic points to take pictures. Yasin took some lovely group pictures for us. We stopped briefly at a women’s almond oil cooperative which we enjoyed. We then visited Ait ben Haddou where we met our guide Ali. It was a lovely visit and Ali was a great tour guide. We then stopped for some lunch at a very large very busy restaurant. Our next stop was the film studio where we joined a 45 minute tour run by the studio. We all enjoyed this. After a short visit to view a kasbah we were ready to go home! It was a very long day and Im glad the younger members of our family didn’t come on this tour as I think it would’ve been too long for them, however we enjoyed it and had a memorable day. The views were beautiful and both our driver and the guide in Ait ben Haddou did a great job.Written November 2, 2024
- 64briced0 contributionsCorrupt militaryThe scenery and the info were great! I wasn’t told I would have to pay for a guide until I hit there and the guide that was supplied was doing and saying as little as possible! On the way there the military stopped our tour van 3x trying to make a dollar. And the second time they stopped us they forced me to pay them $50 for not wearing my seatbelt and if I didn’t pay they would give me a ticket! Overall great tour but there were some things outside of the tour that really tainted my visitWritten October 27, 2024
- 269ghizlanee0 contributionsBest experience ever!!This was one of the best experiences of our trip. Riding quads through the Agafay Desert, with vast landscapes and the golden light of the setting sun, was incredible. The guide added so much to the experience with his local knowledge and fun attitude.Written October 18, 2024
- E9296OKhinda0 contributionsGreat experienceThe Agafay Desert quad tour was thrilling, and the guide was exceptional. We had so much fun exploring the rocky terrain and dunes. The views were spectacular, especially with the unique ambiance of the desert. Worth every pennyWritten October 17, 2024

- georgemI9941RJ0 contributionsWould recommend! My girlfriend and I had a fantastic trip to Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate. Our driver Mohammed was great, very friendly and although it was a long drive (3+ hours) it didn’t feel that long as the views of the Atlas Mountains along the way are amazing and keep you entertained. There are also many places to stop along the way to take photos and buy souvenirs. Our guide Abdul in Ait Ben Haddou was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable having been born and raised there. The Atlas studios in Ouarzazate was interesting although if you’re not a film person then you might consider skipping this and spending more time in Ben Haddou. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour, it was one of the highlights of our time in Morocco!Written October 10, 2024
- M5266XFrichards0 contributionsAvoid this Guide at All CostsWe have been on many walking food tours with Viator and they have always been very good. It is a nice way to begin touring a city with a guide who gives you a mix of culture, history and, most importantly, a taste of a wide variety of the typical foods in locations frequented mainly by the locals. Typically, the guide has a definite plan, with reservations made in advance. Our 5pm tour was an Absolute Disaster! Mehdi Kassori had no plan and had no real interest in talking to us. We walked to the fresh fish market and he pointed to the fresh fish and asked if we wanted anything? There was nothing cooked. Later, after reading other reviews, I think we were supposed to pick out some fish and take it to a restaurant and have it cooked. He never suggested that. We passed a fruit vendor and asked what it was. The guide said it was a fig, but it was really a type of prickly pear. The only history we got was about the main gate. When I asked him about the significance of the 3 balls atop the minaret, he said he didn't know. I later learned there are several interpretations. As we went back inside the walls of the medina, he was constantly walking ahead of us and on the phone. As we walked along the main market street and passed all of the food stalls, he constantly asked us what we wanted to eat???? Typically the guide suggests various foods and explains them, etc. We finally stopped at a small food shop that had food behind a glass window. Again, without any explanation, he asked us what we wanted to eat. We finally had some soup and street food, but again, he was mostly on the phone and when we would ask a question, he would interrupt and answer his phone. Since 2 of our group had never been to Morocco or had Moroccan food, I finally asked him if we were going to have a tagline or cous cous which typically take advanced preparation. By now it was around 7:30. He said ok and we proceeded to walk down some narrow alleys to a local's restaurant, which is fine. They were closing. We went to 2-3 others which were also closing. Obviously he had no plan and had not made any advanced reservations. He said unfortunately, all the restaurants were closing (which was clearly not true) and his solution was to go the market and buy the ingredients for a taglne, take it to a local cook and make it which would only take a hour! At that point we told him we had had enough and we left him with the chicken and vegetables. Mehdi should not be allowed to give another food tour until he submits a plan to Viator. I'm sure that any other guide would have done a typically good job, so don't skip this tour, I'm sure it will be good. Just make sure you don't get Mehdi!Written October 6, 2024

- E9098OMsallys0 contributionsAwesome day! This was an amazing experience with an awesome guide. My bike died on me, but was soon off again. It demonstrates the knowledge the guys have.
