I asked Ibrahim if this would be possible? Of course my friend he said, and within minutes another guide split my bag weight with me and off we went, running back from the summit all the way down to meet mohamed back at the village 😄 What an experience 🏃‍♂️ I cannot thank these guys more, so supportive and helpful, happy and energetic, the whole trip was just great, If anybody would like me to share any pics or videos of this amazing experience, please feel free to drop me a Message. My husband and I decided to do a summit hike in the Atlas Mountains. We were paired with Mohamed and I couldn’t be happier. From the start he was very clear about how long the hike would take and what we would see. The pace was perfect for our abilities (early 30s with hiking experience). Mohamed pointed out landmarks along the trail and even took photos for us. The lunch was the best mountain meal I’ve had and there was an abundance to go around. We made good time so we were able to make an extra stop at the waterfall. Before arriving, Mohamed invited us to his home where we had mint tea and homemade cookies on the terrace that overlooked the village and mountains. You can tell that Mohamed is experienced with his trekking and guidance. We were able to hear many stories of his treks. I would recommend Mohamed as a guide and also a friend. Our morocco highlight trip with Mohamed This was our second time visiting Morocco and this tour is the highlight of both trips. We booked the private tour (for my husband and l) which I highly recommend doing. We were picked up VERY close to our Riad and the host communicated with us prior to our pick-up to ensure everything went smoothly. On the way to the mountains we stopped a few times to take photos and stretch our legs. We booked the tour for a Saturday, which gave us the opportunity to stop at a local market which we very much enjoyed. The hike in the mountains was lovely and the views are breathtaking. We had tea upon arrival to our lunch destination and my goodness, the traditional Moroccan meal was hands down the best food we've had the entire trip. We truly cannot recommend this tour enough!

I reached out to Aitidar when I was in search of a private tour for my husband and me from Marrakesh to the Atlas Mountains. Many other tours are typically one-size-fits-all and include activities like camel rides and lengthy hikes, which weren't suitable for me due to arthritis. Aitidar kept checking in to see if we wanted to do more hiking or less, being completely open to our preferences. Both Aitidar and Mohammed were exceptional companions throughout the trip. They were not only informative but also incredibly flexible, going above and beyond to ensure that our day trip was tailored to us.

We booked a 6 day experience with Mohamed and his team. From pre trip information, collection from Marrakech, hospitality in his home and the amazing food we were made to feel welcome with a friendly atmosphere . Our trip was an acclimatisation trek followed by a 4 day circuit which included summiting on Toubkal. All guides, mules, food was covered within the price agreed. Thank you Mohamed and the Stuff for taking care of our group! :D Mohamed led the trek with the pace optimized to avoid altitude issues and many times advised to slow down. Every meal was tasty and large enough to fed half of the US army not just 16 passionate travellers (Moroccan tea at the elevation tastes sooo good) :D The tour package includes also accommodation for one night, transfer from and to Marrakesh, Park permit and kit (crampons as rocks on part of the trek were covered by ice and snow. That was an extra attraction, some of us never used full crampons before). Mohamed also booked perfect weather so we spent nearly 1 hour sunbathing at the top of the Toubkal :D Highly recommend 'Morocco Tours With Locals' and Mohamed if you consider trip to the Atlas Mountains! Definitely will use them again when in the area. 6 of 5 stars :D

Mohammad runs this tour business out of Imlil, Morocco, and is a great communicator. He answered all my questions. Our guide up the mountain was Rashid. He was very calm and patient, and looks after you the entire time. Don’t fool yourself on this climb. It may not take technical skills, but is a strenuous hiking adventure. I was picked up from Marrakech on time. And the whole journey went off without a problem. Rashid is a good cook as well. Don’t hesitate to utilize them for your Morocco trekking adventures.

Youssef provided us with an excellent 4 hour walking tour of the Medina. He was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the Medina and Jamaa El Fna. His English was perfect, Recommended

Mohammed is a legend. The view and trek is a wonderful experience which requires moderate to low prior trekking experience. Altitude sickness is possible but moderate (in most cases). Be careful with the clear water up top but if you drink it with Ricard(pastisse) you should be fine. All the best for your trip and you should definitely choose this option above all others.
