Youssef did a very nice job taking us around all the main sights with some individual touches. Some of these weee memorable: for instance in the souk, a baker in a hole in the wall baking local bread for about 100 families. Each family brings their own dough in, he pops it in his oven and charges 1 dirham and magically keeps track of all the bread in his oven that belong to many different families. Good English communicator with knowledge of history which we liked. Absolutely get him as your guide as it made our day so much more fruitful.

My friend and I did a full day walking tour with Yusef for our first full day in Marrakech. It was helpful to listen to explanations of the history of the city within the context of Muslim and Arabic culture. We are American and this was our first time to any Arab country and I do think a guide can smooth the transition. Yusef made the tour specific to our requests and filled in gaps with his own suggestions when we didn't know what to do. He has years of experience and can come up with what to do as he talks with you. Fantastic experience and can't recommend it enough.
